I'm telling y'all, my girl zhaozhao will beat everyone icluding her master, find the antidote to MQY's poison, somehow she will reverse the Ziwei method, and they will live together in Luoying valley, marry and have 20 kids.
okay, i have to ask, maybe its a stupid question and i dont understand but - why CZ stayed in the sect (ep 29)?…
Well she told MQY that she would never betray her sect or family for him so i guess thats why. But i think it is stupid especially when you can't see that the people around you are evil
I have been glazing this a lot, and I do like it, but to be fair, there are some issues with the writing and storytelling. They have been dragging every possible plot for 30 eps. 1-Cai Zhao somehow ends up at the same place as Mu Qingyan, he is poisoned, he manipulates her, she understands it, and she leaves. It is the same cycle all over again. 2-She wants to know who her aunt's bf is for so many episodes, she just keeps asking, and Qi Yunke ignores her or gives her a semi-satisfactory answer, and she just stays silent. She can't be that stupid, not realizing that he is evil. And when they literally poisoned MQY, and he was dying, she is like, "Oh lemme go back to the people who betrayed me and almost killed the person I loved because it reminds them of my aunt's past relationship!" 3- The whole demon sect conspiracy with the man in black, it has stayed at the same point so far. They don't have a clue who he is, and the moment they try to figure something out, another plot gets pushed in. Not to mention Cai Zhao, who, despite MQY's warnings, stays indifferent and doesn't even suspect her sect or family. And the problem is that the plot is not even focused on the past generations. For example, Luo Shi Yun and Mu Dong lie. Their story was told in 1 ep while the title is "generation to generation". The same goes for Cai Pingshu. And CZ is fangirling over her while pushing away MQY, as if girly pop didn't like his uncle. But I do appreciate CZ's character, though. It's very refreshing to see a smart FL who stands up for herself and doesn't follow the ML without thinking critically. Same with the ML, most "red flag" MLs I have seen on dramas are copies of each other, but MQY honestly was much different and an actually well-written character. The same goes for characters like Ling Bo or song yuzhi, I like them a lot.
