Ppl are glazing this bc of the anticipation and cast
Generally a nice drama, but not for this genre and definitely not what someone would expect by the title.
It starts off very well by presenting He Yan's tragic story, giving a good reason for revenge that draws interest. However, they didn't exploit this reason as they should have. Her character was empty and unrealistic. She wants to get back what was taken from her but most of her thoughts are not about her personal development. I understand that this is her character and how she feels happy and comfortable with Xiao Jue, but when someone blinds you and throws you off a cliff as if you didn't exist, you can't behave like that all the time. Also, the feminist messages felt like an advertisement. Most of them didn't even stick to the points they were made to make.
