Started off nicely, with a beautiful cinematography, interesting plot and characters. And then ended up a complete mess. I hated Bai Jiusi and Li Qingyue and Hua Ru Yue. So much drama, personal grudges, hatred and romance at the same time just made the story complicated. I totally understand that this is a revenge plot , love and hatred at the same time but losing a child because of a man doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to take that kind of revenge. And I don’t mean revenge in general, but more precisely the fact that Ru Yue decided to fool him be all lovey dovey with him, pretend to be innocent and then get her revenge, it just seemed so out of nowhere. Despite all that, I really enjoyed the storytelling, how the secrets were unfolded and the ending, I believe it was suitable for the story. Them starting over was necessary after all this drama 😀
