2. A J-drama: Long Love Letter. Don't be fooled by the title: there's romance, but there's also a fantastic time/dimentions machine at work here. I think you'd like it. Personally, I love it.
I'm watching 49 days. I have mixed feelings: sometimes it's great, at others boring. I find the acting so-so

Yay! Two recommendations, then: 1. John Boynton Priestley, An Inspector calls and Other Plays, a small collection of 4 plays dealing with time and "future recognition". Not widely known, but truly worth the read. The collection is published by Penguin.

I wish the other chapters of Telecinema were uploaded, because I sense I would love them too. But I can't seem to find them anywhere.
I'm also hiccupping through 49 days: I like it, but I'm not inlove, so to speak.

Hello Edina,
I'm fine thanks, how about you? Please forgive me for answering so late, but I've been a little busy lately and not often on line. I'm not watching anything particular at the moment: I'm in a start&drop phase, lol. I love Postman to Heaven too, a very touching, greatly directed movie.
I found the drama highly enjoyable and each episode left me with a smile on my face. And yet, I also consider it forgettable. When I created my list, at first I forgot to enter this, although I saw it 2 months ago.
A very nice show indeed, but when it was over, I turned the page without tears.

Well, thank you. Love you too, your patience with this and your quirky humour. :D
By the way, I'm sorry lately I've added some actors without a lot of infos. I've looked everywhere around the web and found almost nothing. Sometimes I had to write the few infos myself. :P

Hello Regan!
I'm eager to read some of your caustic remarks here too. ;)
See you around. :D
and time bending. I immediately thought of you. Should you be interested, I'll let you know some titles, because the man wrote more than 160 books in his life, so it would be a little hard to chose, whitout knowing him.

Hello Makilover,
following the tradition of me recommending things without invitation, I'd like to ask you if you've ever read anything by John Boynton Priestley? It came into my mind while writing about our favourite books. In his theatre pieces, this author used to deal with time loops and

Yes, I too prefer Japanese and Korean ones. They're usually better filmed. Also, I think the language plays a major role, at least to me. I adore Japanese, the simple listening to it makes my day. :)

I live in Italy. If you're in Norway, then we have the same time zone, or maybe I'm one hour ahead, but that's all.
Perhaps it would be useful to let you know that my idea of last night is always around 2,30 or 3,00 a.m. LOL
So you haven't seen Autumn Concerto? I think it's the best T-drama around

Sorry if I am so late in answering, but I couldn't access the page last night.
Anyway, yes, the video quality is better, or so it was when I watched it. The problem with older Taiwanese dramas is that they are often difficult to find: most uploading sites shut them down, for some reason.
Judging from the synopsis, this is EXACTLY like Dragon Zakura, only in Korea.

The acting and direction see a definite improvement, the side stories of the other flower boys are portraied. As I said, I mark no rule: no one I know liked it, I'm more or less alone here. But I think that if one watches it without constantly making comparisons, it's a very enjoyable season.

Well, you might be surprised. There are notable differences between the stupid amnesia of Domioji or Gun Pyo who remember everything EXCEPT her and that of Dao Ming Si, who forgets everything. Furthermore, there isn't the usual 2nd bitchy female. The story takes a completely different turn in MG2.

Neither do I. The plot is what it is, but then it's not a literature masterpiece in the Japanese or Korean versions either.
By the way, I must be the only human on the northern emisphere who enjoyed the second season of MG too. :P
