@ J100, did you forget to take your medications ? i'm sorry but u sound like someone just rambling incoherently…
Wow... I think everyone has their right to express their viewpoints. I agree that there are many ways to approach a certain topic but someone can still dislike the way the message was presented and think it is ineffectively addressed or glossed over. It is obvious that OP's first language isn't English but he/she has spent a lot of time and effort to write the comment. Insulting someone simply because they have a different viewpoint from you, or because you feel that they are not expressing their viewpoints in the most objective way possible is disrespectful behavior. (Plus there is no rule out there that says one cannot be subjective when expressing opinions about a work, we are all subjective to a certain extent)
I knew it was originally 40 EPS but I was surprised it only now has 32 EPS. Would you know why it was shortened?…
I don't think anybody knows the real reason, but my guess is that since they have to follow the broadcasting schedule for the new dramas in line, and this was delayed for 4 episodes due to ASEAN games plus next week is Chuseok which means 4 more episodes which could have been aired could not be aired, they decided to shorten it. If you add up the 4 episodes cancelled due to ASEAN games + 4 episodes cancelled due to Chuseok you actually get 40 episodes.
I want to watch this because Jung So Ming since i like her neat acting, but you guys are saying this is going…
(Borderline spoilers)
Watch this only if you're in for kind characters you're invested in suddenly murdering others, taboo relationships, or messed up psychopathic actions like inducing people to kill each other.
I was wondering the same myself. Is it better to watch the original first or should I just watch remake first?…
"Its the main theme of the whole drama, So, korean version will obviously include it"
I am still skeptical about that, since there are indeed certain horrifying scenes and occurrences in the story that contribute to the dark undertone, so there's still a chance they take away some of those parts or present it in a less compelling way. But we never know until it's actually released. I still think they will change the ending at least.
And despite my appreciation towards Seo In Guk as a talented actor, I don't think he'll ever be able to surpass Kimura's legendary performance. Kimura literally breathed and lived the character. It wasn't just about the acting, it was his temperament, the way he looked, spoke, his presence and the feeling he radiated that brought life to and defined the character. If someone is interested in the story, I'd definitely recommend them to check out the original first.
I don't think introverted is the right word. Introversion is a normal personality trait, whereas social anxiety isn't. What the lead has here is social anxiety, not introversion. Situations like these cause people to form misconceptions about extro/introversion or cause introverts to be discriminated/misunderstood or pressured to change.
Comedy isn't really the main focus in this drama. There are some occasional funny scenes but not as many as you…
Just Between Lovers is much darker and sadder, while this one has a more lighthearted atmosphere. Both are about healing and moving on from the past, but this one takes on a more optimistic aproach.
The trailer scares me if! I hate comedy if the over do it.
Comedy isn't really the main focus in this drama. There are some occasional funny scenes but not as many as you think. Give it a try! It's more of a slice of life romance.
I wasn’t big fan of Lee Jin Wook but after seeing him in Voice decided I need another drama with him so now…
Goodbye Mr. Black was just average to me. Watch Nine instead, it's my favorite kdrama of all time! It was my first Lee Jin Wook drama and I have been a fan ever since :)
Wow, after just two episodes, I can firmly say this drama isn't for me. In fact, this'll be the last time I'll…
I understand how you feel. I didn't like The Heirs and DoTS either cuz the plots were all over the place and boring, but I was a big fan of Secret Garden because of how romantic is was. I had sort of a love-hate relationship with Goblin. The first two episodes started out pretty strong but gradually nothing started happening and I fell asleep while forcing myself to finish it. In fact I had dropped it twice before I picked it back up again due to its popularity so I wanted to see for myself why it was even popular. It wasn't until like after ep.12 that the plot finally picked up pace and that was when I started liking it. I would say if you watch the first 4 episodes, then skip to ep.12 you wouldn't have missed anything. Everything in the middle was people standing and talking, making jokes that aren't funny, and some bromance moments (which I personally was not interested in at all).
Maybe he think, that everyone/everything will be better without him. So he leaves for his own sake, but also for…
I would treat him like a mentally ill patient with PTSD (which is true) and expect less from him. He found out something devastating that was linked to the very trauma he has, and he resorted to running away just like how he has always done, except for this time he didn't leave. And I regard this as a big improvement and leap for him already. Remember he has emotional breakdowns in his room all the time without anyone knowing and he has always been suffering alone because he doesn't want to be a baggage to the people around him. Plus patients who can't handle their own problems will not have the energy to consider other's feelings. At times like these they need more care and understanding.
ngl, this had potential, but there are too many flaws imo. they act like preteens starting high school, and the…
Wow. I agree with you completely. I went into this thinking it would say something meaningful about beauty standards, but it ended up being a boring love story that advances at the speed of a turtle. Plus I hate seeing bitchy second female leads making a fuss. I almost thought she was the main lead cuz everything in the story revolves around her. I know many say otherwise, but Cha Eun Woo's acting was very stiff. If he's considered a good actor then all the other good actors out there would be like god-tier and out of this world. The standards of good acting is reaching its new low in this drama. I also expected Im Soo Hyang to do better given her experience, but she only had one facial expression throughout the whole show. I ended up watching this solely for cute romance, but the romance was dragged too. Frankly I just couldn't like this and I hope everyone respects my opinion.
Really looking forward to this but I can't see it staying true to the original, it's too dark for Korea so I wonder…
Ikr literally every character killed at least one person in the original. It was horrifying. And that ending was so sad and disturbing it left my heart broken in pieces
I know is not the best out there, so many things are all over the place but I can't help it I love both main actors…
ikr it's like the show is objectively so bad but subjectively so good and you can feel the conflict between your mind and your heart while you're at it... this show is playing with my heart strings!
I know a girl exactly like Soo Ah. She was my old roommate & best friend. It took me years to figure out the truth…
I think these people might have an inferiority complex. They are attention-seekers who thirst for love and care so they can feel better about themselves, and they go toying around with people's lives so they can feel superior. Plus they are probably jealous of other people's happy relationships so they want to destroy them. Frankly they don't even respect or love themselves while they are at it.
LMFAO ahahaha xD

I'm glad that the story began to make much more sense after the 2nd episode
