Agreeing with you about the time it takes for their reunion! I prefer they meet after 2 yrs instead of 3+ months or so given what happened in the icy lake. One thing though I kept wondering how ZGY can survive because if I'm not mistaken he was saved by his teacher from his mother's side in the novel, and it's a bit unbelievable. I prefer the darkness and struggle at CQ's side during all those 2 years maintain her dreams, but also to do what she can for ZGY. However if the drama is truly following the novel, the Yan Bei rebellion etc may take up up too many episodes? In any case, I'm enjoying the drama, it makes sense for ZGY to return back to the lake once he can escape from the Ximeng King and coincidentally saved CQ again. Also the drama needs a more reasonable amount of screen time for each lead (to make viewers happy😊). It also keeps the suspense on what else can change!

To anyone wondering yes the story continues straight from the end of Princess Agent when they both fall into the lake. I think they’ve done a superb job with selecting the actors to portray the original characters from the Princess Agent. This is defo worth a watch.

Okay, I’ll like to apologize about my comment days ago. The drama and cast is actually nice. It just took time to let everything sink in. 😅

This husband is always in a sick or injured state. Great marquis and we never see him take down any powerful enemy in battle 🤦‍♀️

This drama deserves a better rating than what people are trying to give it. People are so impatient and ready to rate off of just the first couple episodes

when Prince Agents aired,there were so much criticisms about a lot of things (dubbing, dialogues, ML acting, editing, cheap cgi) that almost half of china agreed the hype was overrated, now rebirth airs & suddenly Prince agents is a great drama and the sequel is getting a lot of criticisms...I'm sure if i live another 9 years, I'll see rebirth suddenly being considered as a masterpiece one day lol

so far so good. I hate to admit, this really good. they played the role really well. Liyunrui, I saw him many times as guest role. omg he is so good in this and FL as a new gen, she indeed similar to Chu Qiao

The drama is good but it is having a backlash in ratings due to haters

After the first two eps, the drama progressing very smoothly. Only complaint following 4 different plots with 4 leads is little difficult. With new and old characters around them, the drama is a serious watch not something you can play in background.

I posted this not to make anybody avoid the comparison with PA but to look at it more on the original script (novel) POV :)

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m really glad they didn’t dive too deeply into Princess Agents. This drama deserves to stand on its own without dragging back all the negative attention that came with PA — those who know, know 👀💬.
As for the age gap discussion: Huangyang Tian Tian is doing an amazing job! 🌟 Considering she was only 17/18 during filming, I don’t expect many (or any) kissing or intimate scenes between her and Li Yun Rui — and honestly, that’s totally fine with me.

Just look at Allen Ren: he’s done plenty of romance dramas with little to no intimate scenes, and they’re still incredible. 💫
For me, as long as the acting is strong and the storyline is compelling, I’m fully here for it ❤️📺 i loved PA and Im Loving Rebirth so Far

Dang, I’m enjoying this drama four episodes in. Huang Yang Tian Tian is a fine young actress. She really does bear an uncanny resemblance to the young Zhao Li Ying.

En cuanto al nuevo Zhuge Yue, lo está interpretando muy bien, incluso digamos que es una versión más atractiva de lo que era el primer actor que lo interpretó; incluso hay cierta semejanza entre ellos en porte y gestos, salvando las distancias. Comparisons are always odious! So why compare one to the other? We should be grateful to be able to see the continuation of that wonderful story, something we were deprived of back then. Don't you remember the frustration we felt that year? So, for my part, the new Chu Qiao is perfectly entitled to the role; she was the young Chu Qiao in the first version. As for the new Zhuge Yue, he's playing him very well; I'd even say he's a more attractive version of the first actor who played him. There's even a certain resemblance between them in their bearing and gestures, all things considered. So, my dear girls, watch this drama with kind eyes and don't be so cutthroat, okay?
