Was I the only one who found a lot Of this dragged. Some epic moments but otherwise it was quite boring past episode…
šŸ˜…šŸ˜… in here MDL there’re a lot lot lot of K-dramas that are overrated, there’re some k-dramas which i felt very very boring but they all rated it 8.8-9.2….. i still prefer TBOY compare to those slow pace boring korean dramas with high rating. I think it’s really difficult for C-dramas to get high rating on MDL compare to k-dramas. I don’t know why is that.

idk about that. i’ve enjoyed every single episodes so farā˜ŗļø maybe you just don’t like the political issues…
You’re opposite me, i fell asleep so many times while watching NIF. The political at NIF is too deep that sometimes made me confused. TBOY’s political is light one, more wuxia than political issue.

Is it me or does Xiao se looks like he got no Shoulder ..( not body shaming )
I finished watching episode 39 now. And I give this episode a 10. One of the reasons: Wuxin is in it, wonderful, in many scenes. And the other reason: All the characters shined in this episode. All characters, without exception.

Guys! Got a reply from youku official Twitter that the 5 minute extra episode will be subbed soon on the app. I know most of us have seen it through other channels but the official version would be great too!

If you are looking for a c-drama that has good fights, this is one of them, there many scattered throughout the…
Agree… this is one of the best wuxia, i don’t know why people search for heavy romance or good political palace in a wuxia dramašŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ each drama has their own uniques and strengths

This show has the best fighting fantasy in several years. I'm on ep. 37 and 38 and the scenes are so good.

An amazing drama which made me laugh out loud lots and cried out lots. Emotionally intriguing and beautifully executed... love how the older generation intertwined with youths to forge through to their desired future.

Title The Blood of Youth Spoiler
Why did the king leave the throne to both XS and XC it’s really funny
He didn't leave the throne to both XS and XC. He left the throne officially to XS (the copy that supposedly is the "second copy taken by Eunuch to be put in archive for verification later on". Anything sitting in the archives is official.

The scroll with XC's name is to give XS the choice if he decided that he didn't want to be emperor. His father knows that he never wanted it. Also remember that Langya said give the throne to the son that you hate the most so he didn't want to force him. He also allowed the Eunuch to see this as a final loyalty test. That's why he told XC that if eunuch approached him then to kill him.

Emperor knows just like eunuch and all other officials that XS can make himself emperor at any time and if there's disputes, the copy in archive for safe keeping would have his name so he could always legitimately become emperor. At the end, XC returns the scroll with XS's name to show that he knows and to give XS one last chance to change his mind but XS destroys it, in effect making XC legitimate emperor for good so there won't be any disputes later on as to not repeat what happened between his father and uncle.

This show is amongst few chinese shows which didn't lose their consistency. It was true to its genre till the end. I would love to see more of our protagonist and his monk friend. Their friendship was highlight of this show.
