I can't remember a single drama I've watched that isn't romance or rom-com. I always ask if the ending is happy and if it's not, I'd skip. if I really want to watch a drama with "sad ending", I like to be mentally prepared but as you've stated, "sad ending" according to some have actually been happy endings for me. I think it depends on the viewers to decide it themselves because there are so many people who discover dramas everyday, each with their own tastes. Loved your article!
alright so everyone seems to hate something or other about this drama so spoil me idc. I haven't watched the S1 so I think I'm not going to watch either of the seasons lol. who does she end up with and what happens to the other?
I agree with some comments mentioned already. the sexual harassment was exaggerated. he bullied like 10 years ago. the victims apologized (not sure if they did as I read it on instagram) for falsifying the sexual allegations. he apologized for bullying. his career is temporarily halted. what else should he be held accountable for? should he be beheaded or thrown into jail for bullying 10 years ago? I don't think so. y'all suddenly became judges as if you did no harm to others when you were (or are) in middle-high school. all this humiliation is well enough for the young generation to learn. oh and going to military is not "getting away" or "escaping". every korean male has to go at some point, just like the bullying allegations about his past "had to come out at some point".
oh when you said creep I mean he did wrong, but yes it will be weird to see them paired well it was shelved project…
oh hey i hope you'll enjoy this if you watch it. I was addressing @claudiakdrama4ever cuz she said she'll skip it lol. I'm not a big fan of true beauty but imma watch this :)
