I agree with you tho. Even if many people like it, I just couldn't feel attached to it or like it even if I forced myself. In my opinion, this was the worst drama I've seen in 2020 (I saw like 50 dramas last year...)

I can't remember a single drama I've watched that isn't romance or rom-com. I always ask if the ending is happy and if it's not, I'd skip. if I really want to watch a drama with "sad ending", I like to be mentally prepared but as you've stated, "sad ending" according to some have actually been happy endings for me. I think it depends on the viewers to decide it themselves because there are so many people who discover dramas everyday, each with their own tastes.
