Dew/Blue is kind of odd. The story went from Dew behaving like a total ass, to suddenly acting sweet and like…
I agree...but I think some of that Blu Dew story line was happening around the time of the preparation of the concert and the aftermath of the concert. Notice that in the episode where they were getting ready for the concert we had scenes of Dew and Blu kind of getting closer to each other, with Dew tying up Blu. They were hinting at the two of them sort of having a truce and being less of an enemy...but you are right, their scenes in the latest episode were disjointed and didn't flow at all from what we had, but we understand why. I'm sure that these two also didn't get to film a lot of their scenes that would have happened around the same time-frame as Saifah and Zon.
About the age thing, I also didn't realize how big of a difference in age they were. I knew that Blu was young, but didn't realize that he was still under 18. while it would be okay of the other actor was between 20-23, much older than that makes me a bit uncomfortable. If Blu were a girl, many fans and people would be crying foul, but because it's Blu and he's in a BL a lot of people don't seem to care.
The only statement we got from the the director so far is that there will be 14 episodes. And that the extra SaifahZon…
The director/acting coach (not sure who the person on the stream was) said in the livestream that there will be only 13 episodes. But they also stated once things go back to some type of normal they will film some extra specials for both couples. So next week is the last episode of the series, if the livestream information is correct. IT's a shame that this drama got affected the way it did, but I wish them the best.
Eh. While I do appreciate that so far none of the female characters are being shown as manipulative or toxic,…
So true. All of the female characters are one-dimensional and only there to convince the viewers (us) that Sarawat or any other male character is desirable and drool worthy. I mean, what is it with Thai Bls that always have these men-crazy women? Is that how their universities are in real life? When I was in High school and College (even Middle school) I never saw girls go crazy like that for boys/men. Makes me cringe a lot to be honest and I have to shake my head because as a mom I have to really be careful to give my daughter the foundation needed to have self-worth/respect and that her identity is not reduced to a man-crazy girl. (sorry I went off course here LOL)
Tutor and Fighter's scenes were filmed long time ago (they were the first of the drama that was filmed) their…
I totally agree with you. Thai Bls suffer from the Too many couples syndrome and unfortunately not too many of those BLs develop those couples well for me to invest in them. I do agree that GMMTV has done well in some dramas, but there are still some that the couples get little to no development. If they stuck with One main couple, this wouldn't be a problem for this drama. Either way, I wish them the best.
Okay so just watched episode 12. And it was arguebly better than past 2 episodes. I'm not gonna say it was the…
Tutor and Fighter's scenes were filmed long time ago (they were the first of the drama that was filmed) their scenes are being shown more now because production couldn't continue filming due to COVID and thus they had to take all of the scenes that they had already filmed as they have already have a contract with the tv station. Regarding favoritism, out of the entire cast, Saint was the most marketable actor and the one that production and director were using to attract fans since a lot of people were awaiting his return since LBC and Reminders, so it is natural that he and his partner would get more screen time. Unfair? Well that's business and if you got CEOs or stockholders to satisfy, then the least known couple will suffer somewhat. Honestly, I would have liked for them to focus on ONE couple and just given a second season for the next couple, but again these are dramas that depending on how well they do or don't do, they may never have a second season and why they push so many couples.
Honestly, this was one of the best episodes minor a few issues here and there. Zee's acting was awesome and I felt the rawness of his feelings for Tutor. The actor playing his father also gives off very good acting. My real issue with many Thai Bls though is that they leave a lot of the climax nearing the end. I find that it makes a drama drag and the pacing doesn't flow too naturally (I understand that COVID affected filming and production) but some of the issues these boys are going through right now, could have been flushed out at least 4 episodes ago to give the characters more nuance. Can't nitpick too much though because I also understand that they have to sell this product to fans. It seems like next episode the filming might have started? Those scenes look newer? More Saifah-Zon is always a plus in my book :)
I would love for every episode to be "named/title" I will start calling EP9 Cupid's game! Side friends were cupids today... More dramas should utilize side characters this way. They were comedic in a fun way, they were wise in a non-preaching way..they pushed in the right way...honestly, I really like side characters that help drive the story along and so far this drama has done a decent job with them. Kudos to them.
I just read the description of WHY R U again... "Tutor is said to be ‘wise’ beyond his age and acts rationally"…
why is it a joke? You can be a rational well adjusted person, but BAM the minute you fall in love, all logic flies out the window. I've known quite a few people who were well put together but the minute they dated someone, I had to do a double take, like "WTF happened to you..." I've watched too many of these friends do completely weird things like slashing tires....
My favorite part was Wat taking care of Tine in the bedroom after they got hurt. It was the first time that Wat's face changed and showed so many different emotions. And the couch scene was adorable too. Man and Boss are so adorable!
I'm still trying to weigh things over about this, A faculty of Law Student who thought a Guitar pick can be broken…
Justice for Gunsmile...IF it makes you feel better, GMM was recently called out by a lot of fan for their treatment of some of their actors. Apparently they neglect or ignore some actors in favor of the popular ones (like the kid that play Tew in Sotus S, he actually had to start his own YT channel because he wasn't getting jobs from GMM) So a lot of actors we see a lot in secondary roles like Gunsmile might be doing it so they won't get neglected as well.
Omfg. Can we have ONE drama that doesn't come with real life bs???? Please. I'm begging for ONE. The Chinese fans…
Agree! I did't really know what was going on and made the mistake of looking for it on twitter (NEVER AGAIN)...anyways, this was bound to happen sooner or later in the BL world given how many Gay-For-Pay actors are hired specially when they are in a committed hetero-relationship. I blame these companies that don't give the leads to openly gay actors or keep pushing these unrealistic couple shipping with these seemingly straight men. I also blame fans that can't distinguish reality from fiction and who make these Bl actors into some type of fetish they can't live without. UGG so weird...
