"Thailand have such a goldmine on their hands (BL content) and they know it, "oh yeah they definitely know it,…
So true. I mean I caught up when they started having so many BLs back to back to back and just focusing on "good looking" casts and not the story itself. That's why I was so happy when the HIStory series came out and even the Chinese Bromance dramas were more entertaining to watch. Now, we aren't getting anything from those places :( I heard that Korea is going to have a BL coming out soon. Honestly, I am not a fan of Korean Dramas they remind me of Mexican Novelas and they are so repetitive and nonsensical, but if they do it right, I will give it a chance. I've seen some good BL movies from Korea so if they do something similar to that, I will be happy.

What I find surprising is people still claiming viewers dislike it because of the lack of skinship?!! Hello??!!…
100% agree!

No. Most of us want to see a character that doesn't do a complete 180 from what he was initially without any warning…
I didn't want to engage to be honest, but I've been seeing quite a few people dismissing actual criticism and down right being rude to those of us who feel this drama had such great potential and it's being going downhill now. Alas, I guess I just need to take another break from this site again.

This site is getting ridiculous with the way some people have become toxic fans who think everything is great and that anyone who dares to have actual and legit criticism of a drama is a hater or "has never been in a relationship" etc (not just with this drama but quite a few others that have come out recently in the last two years) My gosh, dismissing every critical review/comment just because you don't agree with them in counter productive. Telling people to get over it and accept the drama free of criticism is petulant and arrogant.

The drama started really good but for most of us who criticize it for real issues such as continuity, editing, script and acting, we aren't haters. We just want a good story and we discuss with others what we thought was great or what was bad. Our opinions matter too. This is not even about the lack of intimacy between the main couple (even though that's also a legit critic), but the story isn't fluid at all. It has become disjointed and cartoonish. As someone who enjoys all types of drama and likes to review them, I can appreciate what was good and still see the flaws. Characters have completely taken a turn, development of said characters has been stunted and once again issues that should have been presented in the middle of the drama are left for the end which will probably lead to a rushed ending. We as viewers don't deserve such half-assed shows to be honest, but we put up with it because we aren't getting any other BL content from anywhere else at the moment. Directors and Producers in Thailand have such a goldmine on their hands (BL content) and they know it, but they've been failing to give us real good stories for the sake of pandering to BL obsessed girls/women.

anyways, rant over...I should put away my vodka.

No doubt I was interested in the Man Type story line cause I was hoping it would be good and go somewhere, but it just fell flat. I didn't care for Mil/Phu that was just GMM trying to give Drake and Frank some screen time. LOL

Shit it’s like no one here has ever been in a real relationship before. When you first get together there’s…
No. Most of us want to see a character that doesn't do a complete 180 from what he was initially without any warning whatsoever. We want to see a story that doesn't use women as plot devices to create drama and jealousy. We want to see a couple who communicates and understands that there will be times when their relationship will be tested, but that they can overcome that. We don't want to see this cheap representation of what a relationship is. I don't care for the kisses or the sex or they likes, but these two characters behave more like brothers than a couple. People who have been in relationship would probably do a double take on these two because it just doesn't seem to be there. The fact that we have had a rinse and repeat story line the minute that Tine and Sarawa got together (Mil chasing Tine, Wat now with Pam) is lazy script. Never mind that for the last three episodes they have reduced Tine's character to some cheap "uke" because he somehow now needs to be protected by Wat from Mil or he has to be shy and unsure of himself.

Literally they made his character some weak unsure person, and though yes being in a relationship with a man for the first time will undoubtedly make him vulnerable, there is no way to believe that he "lost" himself, and Wat going from "He's mine" and telling everyone how Tine is his partner, to suddenly not making it clear to Pam just screams two things 1) this is a bad script that has not character continuity or 2) Wat is not in love with Tine.

I get your point. You English is fine. My point was that his character was treated poorly by the script. The way it is, the two of them being together just wouldn't work honestly. I think their story would be a good one to tell if they could develop them better, but alas, they did not do that with this script. I thought Man was a cool character initially, but as the episodes progressed they made his character or his traits a bit unlikable for me at least. But I also don't invest too much into the side couples so it's just how I feel lol ^_^ I hope I didn't come across as rude

I love Right or Wrong! The ratings on that show should be higher. IT was so well executed and dealt with the tropes really well.

Is it Bright's acting? He just seems so over it constantly, I don't get it. It's as if he's on autopilot and waiting…

He did though. There may not have been many per episodes, but there were quiet a few where he would smile or smirk and even have a teasing smile for Pharm. I think a lot of people were not aware that Dean was supposed to be a very stoic person (like Korn) they weren't supposed to have any facial expression and Dean was actually as described. LOL, but what I am saying is that if people complained about Dean, I wonder what they think of Sarawat's open mouth face (almost ALL THE TIME)...it's like those supermodels trying to look seductive.

He is a first year, which means he is either 18-19 so he's an immature and impulsive kid. Though he was great in the first episodes, his story line with Type has become a joke. He was stalking this dude and thought it was kind of cute initially, it's no longer cute when the guy wanted nothing to do with him. He doesn't "deserve Type"...Type isn't a prize to win. I think they ruined what could have been a great side couple because their story if told better could be explored in a second season.

That would have been great. His stomach ache could have been from stress and worrying himself sick and giving himself an ulcer from all that worrying and doubt. Then he could have double over in pain and cried during that scene where he was by the stairs because seeing Wat and Pam was the last straw and his body started shutting down. IT would have been a lot better.

I thought I was the only one. I was laughing and rolling my eyes. It was so badly acted to be honest and the transition was weak (editing has always been an issue for me with this drama, but more so in the last 3 episodes)...Like, that scene made no sense to me.

I don't want to see anyone talking sh*t about Dean from UWMA and his "robotic" face. At least Dean showed many times different facial expressions...For me Bright always has that "open mouth" model face going on and it just makes it difficult to understand if he's happy or sad or annoyed. His face is just stuck on the same default mode for some time now.

I also don't understand this episode. Wat was always more than happy to yell to the whole world how Tine is his…
Totally agree. Even with the mess that UWMA and WHYRU were, they rarely relied on certain tropes to get the couple together. There was some very healthy depictions of relationships and I had hoped that the script had been better for both, but at least those dramas had some saving points.

He's coming to me continues to be one of my top dramas and the formula there was actually good. Though you still had a female character in love with the main lead, her character was treated well (interesting enough, the actress in that drama is Pam in this one)

I'm afraid we won't get that many good BLs for a while...

I put one of my comments in a spoiler tag below regarding Pam and Wat. I really don't understand how he was all over the place telling anyone who wanted to hear that Tine was his. He wasn't afraid to even out their relationship when Tine asked him to keep it a secret. Yet, he can't bring himself to tell his so called "real good friend" that he is dating Tine or even introduce him as his boyfriend? so unreal.
