I have yet to watch it I'm waiting for it to finish. I don't think I can watch another BL that's airing. I keep…
I've watched WRU (It was okay and I understood why it went the way it did) I can't wait to watch MY Engineer though as I keep seeing a lot of good comments on it. When does it end?
I made a video review of 2gether the series. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/vGYFoDZ6yW0
Don't worry you'll get better as you continue to do these! Congrats on your first BL video. Also use tags so you can have more views...if that is what you want.
Same. I went shopping for food (locked down for weeks now, I finally ran out of some of my favorite foods) and…
I'm sure that the ones recommended to you would be the same ones I would recommend. But, what's your preference? I loved He's Coming to Me from last year. HIStory Trapped was good (some annoying editing, but not so bad) I loved Dark Blue and Moonlight (though many people hated it) but I thought it had a very good story (despite the plot-holes and some fluidity)
You know there is this movie I really LOVED... called The Thing About Harry (American LGBTQ movie) if you haven't seen it, it 's a good one.
Actually I don't want to think about this series anymore. Not worth my time... but everytime I go here and see…
Same. I went shopping for food (locked down for weeks now, I finally ran out of some of my favorite foods) and I keep saying stay away from the computer and MDL...but nooo here I am again. This is entertaining.
I have yet to watch it I'm waiting for it to finish. I don't think I can watch another BL that's airing. I keep reading good things, so I am intrigued.
I might have an explanation for why this happened. Im only guessing this but here we go. So they didn’t expect…
The thing is that they had no growth throughout the drama. I had mentioned in the general comment section, that if the issue was that the last episode was filmed first and they were awkward, I can get it. Still, after that was done and directors and production team were reviewing what they filmed, at what point did they maybe think to themselves, "this isn't coming off right?" If this had been GMM's first BL drama I would have given them a break, but this company has had pretty successful BL dramas already. They already had loyal fans and curious fans. Any BL drama from them would still do decently. Having new actors and some veteran actors (like Gunsmile, Drake, Frank etc) only helped build the hype (there were a LOT of fans watching the drama for Frank and Drake)
Look I don't HATE the drama.I just disliked that they had something that could have been great. The first few episodes were entertaining and I was looking forward to them every Friday. By episode 6-7 I lost interest as the characters were not getting any real development and then the focus was on unnecessary drama and tropes. Lack of Chemistry with the main actors also hurt them. In the end, many people enjoyed it and it became a popular BL drama in Thailand. I just hope that whatever other BL drama GMM is thinking of dropping that they give us something with more nuance and real development.
I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would. I do like Namtan as an actress, but I wasn't that excited for the rest of the cast (except Sing). Still a nice drama. I also love Sing, he is such a good actor.
That is not an excuse in my opinion. The script was lazy and even if you shoot the final scenes first, they still…
The scene takes many re-shoots to get it right, if this is what they could come up with regardless if it was filmed first or not, then someone dropped the ball. They should have scrapped it and done it after they have more time to get familiar with each other. IF the issue was the band SCRUBB and timing, that still doesn't explained the crappy episodes that preceded this last one. The chemistry and acting has been lacking for several episodes ( I started noticing how bad it was after episode 7)...at what point are they going to stop being awkward with each other? First few episodes were good because they were fake acting to date (acting withing acting..inception anyone) so obviously they were capable of doing a decent job (at least WIN imo) then somewhere they got over whatever kept them from being comfortable, and still didn't do a good job. Don't get me wrong I think part of the reason is the bad lazy script, but part of it was definitely the acting.
So I made the mistake of going to Twitter to see the 2gether hardcore fans defending this travesty with their "this is a pure love, you don't have to have sex or making out to show love..etc..." and then proceeded to rant about other BL couples...UGGG""
I'm sorry but I'm going to bang my head on the table. Saying things like that is insulting and so wrong in so many levels. Shaming BL couples that show love through kissing, sex, etc is wrong. There is nothing absolutely wrong with BL dramas that have sex or kisses. As an ACE who doesn't care for those types of scenes (I quite often skip them risking missing some scenes) but even I can see the value in NORMALIZING these scenes. Many BL fans need to understand that by glorifying couples like Tine/Wat who SHOW little to NO intimacy or romance, they are essentially denying same sex couples the right to feel like their love is normal. It is like putting them back in the "closet" so to speak.
Yes you don't need explicit sex scenes or kissing to show a couple in love, but Tine and Sarawat were more like ROOMMATES than lovers/couple. The drama failed to convince at least ME (who is asexual) of these two being a couple. I will even go as far as to say that Tine and Sarawat as a couple (the way they were presented to us) is the WRONG type of couple you want to even introduce to a new BL viewer.
Anyways, I have had a shitt& day and wanted to vent...
So that was the reason, or more like an excuse. I find it absurd that they even revealed that. I guess they are…
I just said the same thing on a top comment on this page. There is NO EXCUSE for the lack of chemistry or the way it was filmed. At this point they (team) are trying to save face cause they know they screwed up.
rabid brightwin stans will have a breakdown if they read this comment section lmfao
I was actually wondering when they would make their way over here and read my review. I would be the most hated individual in this site (and I would take pride in that) LOL
People need to realize that the scenes are not shot in order! Bright and Win have mentioned that all of their…
That is not an excuse in my opinion. The script was lazy and even if you shoot the final scenes first, they still lacked romance and chemistry. They looked like two dudes done with the show rather than being excited for filming their first BL. Plus there are reports that many scenes were re-done, so SOMEONE had to have seen these scenes and they should have said to themselves, "Woah that doesn't look convincing" . Acting is just an adult game of pretend. If you are getting paid to pretend to be in love, but can't do it, then someone (director) should have taken the actors aside and told them "hey it's not looking convincing." Instead we get this watered down cliche ending.
If you left this review on twitter, you are going to get attacked by their blind followers. Their only defense…
They are blind. Love CAN definitely be shown without skinship or kissing, but this show did not do that. That is an insult to this couple. I don't understand those fans. I don't like sex or even showing affection, but I do like intimacy and slight romance. These two did not do anything that was remotely couple-ly after getting together. They acted more like roommates which is why so many of us were baffled about their relationship as they acted more "in love" when they were fake dating. I have to remind myself that a lot of twitter people are either too young or too immature so I avoid that place LOL.
