To me it makes perfect sense. Thara finds Frong amusing and perhaps adorable, but I never got the "in love or even a crush" vibe from him. Which then makes it better for a season 2 story progression of them actually falling for each other. It would have been too fast too soon for them to be all couple-y imo

I liked their scenes though. They should just have had Mek be a transferred student *which could have made his character make more sense as a Mute character* and then just done some captions (and have Boss understand his hubby)

Overall it was an okay drama. A lot better than most BLs that have come out so far. Ram/King had the best couple development I have seen in some time. Their story overshadowed the main couple which is a feat in itself. I wrote a review but wanted to share that the MOST CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND NUANCE goes to RAM follow by King. I have high hopes for them if a second season is truly in the works.

OMG Kate I didn't see you review. I said the same thing!! I can't believe that RAMKING had more character development and nuance compared to the main couple. I was baffled.

I totally agree with you on the Bohn character. I haven't written him off completely, but I'm just not into his character so much. As for the old sage comments, I'm probably way older than you LOL and most people here.

I'm sure they could be that tall, I know cooper is tall, but they just seem tiny compared to my brother LOL...Then again my brother is a military man so he is also bulkier so the appearance might be that.

I'm finally caught up and I love Ram and King. Ram is such a great character, given how little dialogue he has, there is so much development and nuance with him. I like their subtle chemistry (not too in your face) and the way they sort of understand each other. King studies Ram the same way he studies his plants and it shows how much he cares for Ram (but is oblivious to it) Ram on the other hand knows he cares for King, but doesn't really take the plunge probably because he fears being hurt and betrayed the way his father has betrayed their family. There is so much unspoken by him verbally, but very spoken by his actions. Mek and Boss are another couple that surprised me so much with their development. Another "mute" character has more development than those that speak the most. For Duen and Bohn, I kind of understand their dynamic, but Bohn is a bit toxic for my taste. He is way too cocky and intentionally hurts Duen to get a reaction out of him (mostly emotional manipulation). I guess the reason he is a little bit dislikable to me is because I've deal with some people like him in my life. But this drama overall is very good compared to what we have watched in the past few months.

My Brother is 6'3 and for some reason Mek and Cooper look tiny compare to my Brother...are we sure about these heights? I could have sworn they were like 5'11...Oh well, just an observation.

Yeah, it's really hard for me to dislike a main couple (unless the drama sucks) but here the side ones are so interesting. I guess because Bohn is so immature and hard-headed I'm kind of turned off a bit by him, but they aren't too bad just not as interesting as Ram and King and to some extent Mek and Boss too (though I didn't realize that Mek's actor had a voice over LOL) I'm almost caught up I had work so I had to put off watching ep 11 and 12...I'm doing that now :)

I am on Ep 8 and I'm really enjoying this drama. I'm so surprised that I am more interested in the side couples than the main one...I mean, they are cute, but the side couples are so interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Great to meet another ACE! It's hard for us to find good representation in media :( which makes it hard to enjoy some dramas. Hopefully there will be some good ones coming soon.

I was on the same boat, but I started watching it yesterday. I'm only on ep 4 now...LOL I figured since the last episode is this week, I will be able to catch up.

It was in one of the BTS videos released. He is really remarkable for someone so young, who could have easily given up, but rather continued. He's such a cute kid too and very sweet. His speech at one of the awards supporting LGBTQ communities was really sweet too.

I gave this show a chance because of My Hero (I actually liked that HIStory chapter though many people didn't) But this drama is going to be a disaster imo.

can't believe I am going to say this, but I am dropping this...can't even make it passed ep 1 part 2 LOL...Maybe I'll change my mind later, but I don't think I can stomach this.
