I am multi-lingual and the subs are atrocious. The problem I have is not that the subs are bad, is that they are bad and distracting. I can overlook bad grammar and things and understand what is being implied, but even looking at these subs I get lost, which means I miss out on scenes. I have to re-watch something multiple times to finally "get it"
I think this might be the type of drama that gets better with episodes as actors get more comfortable with each other. It's clear that some of the newbies are finding their footing so to speak. So the acting is getting better...know what's not getting better? The ENGLISH SUB! GRRR...Seriously, I appreciate whoever was trying to give us ENG SUBs, but now it's like a joke. I am seriously annoyed because some of the dialogue clearly make no sense based on what the person is translating.
I do not think that high view count makes a show successfull. A successful show is a type of show that LASTS in…
If you are directing this at my comment, then let me respond to you. The reason I even put the ratings/numbers is because SOMEONE had been asking about it and they wanted to use the lack of "rating or trending" as a way to say this drama isn't loved and it sucks while also praising other problematic dramas (that person's comment is no longer here as I believe they were either banned or left) It was simply a way to let them know that they should back up what they claim as fact. Many people here do like this drama and many don't. I don't care one way or the other...if you like it, you do and if you don't...that's okay too.
It is a suspended sentence. Which is typically what is given for first time offenders plus mandatory time in rehabilitation.…
She doesn't have a suspended sentence. Her attorney is seeking one, meaning that if they don't get the suspended sentence she will do time. It is not only Asia that drugs have rage a war on, it happens all around the world. The fact is that rehabilitation should be more acceptable as a form of sentence, not prison. Many people who use drugs do so because of trauma, mental health issues etc. Punishing them with prison doesn't address the underlining problem, it makes it worse. Prison itself is traumatic.
Draconian drug laws are permeated in every single aspect of the criminal justice system is many societies. The solution is not prison/jail, it is rehabilitation and giving the user the tools and skills necessary to achieve sobriety from drugs as well as any mental health issues they might be dealing with. I work in the Criminal Justice system with people who are addicted to drugs or commit crimes, the answer is to help not hinder. (that's not to say that we should let everyone out of punishment either)
I miss dramas from previous yrs where one could connect to the characters and stories felt more real.. something's…
Considering that they spent less time with the side characters on episode 3, I'm hoping they will continue to focus on the main characters. I say watch a few more episodes to see if you can connect with the characters or not.
Thank you for posting this. So that a certain individual can see it. You don't need to trend at #1 to be successful,…
LOL, My intention really is to let people know that despite what some people may write here, the reality is different. This drama is actually quite loved outside of MDL. I've seen it in the YT comments and Twitter, even on Facebook. I just don't get caught up in the ratings talk because to me even if the drama isn't pulling the numbers people want, as long as it's a good series (even with its flaws) I will watch it. I would have already dropped it if it wasn't my cup of tea. I actually like this slow burn/draggy type of drama with the fluff because I've watched too many that are just "wham bam thank you ma'am" with little to no substance. I do see the flaws of the drama and I will address them in my review when I am done with it, but for now, I'll keep watching to see how it plays out.
Just check the view of the red thread. #UWMAseries On Youtube and LINETV, only OFFICIAL's total of 102m View (one hundred and two million views), reaching hundreds of millions of views already. For a series that is only screened online for us, it is much more than expected. Thanks to everyone who has always followed. Thank you very much
You do realize that today there was a mass shooting in Thailand, right? So, peoples concern would be on that.…
Liz, the director will always strive to work harder for any new project they get, regardless of ratings and trendings of their dramas. They always want to TOP their past projects because this is how they learn and grow their craft. The drama actually has a pretty good fanbase, to the point where director NEW is getting bashed by them. The drama is not to your liking because it isn't your preference. It's not a bad drama. It has its flaws and plot-holes like every other BL out there, but the drama is passable. If it isn't for you, then be honest and move on.

Why does it matter if it's top trend or not? Serious question, why are you concerned with the rating or trending if according to you, you're not into this drama. Last time you said to someone that a rating of 7 would be too kind...I'm trying to be patient and understanding of your opinion and comments, but I wonder what is your true agenda wasting your time on a series you clearly have no interest in? I am trying to respect your opinions, but it's getting a bit redundant.
