17 episodes... if that is true this could be the first bl that I will drop, I am not strong enough xD
I guess we can agree to disagree...but 2moons2 was as bad as 2moons. Nothing about that drama was outstanding. Again, it got more praised because of the "chemistry" and "sexy time" but objectively speaking it was not a great drama at all. The effect is one of the best dramas I've watched. It touched on subjects and treated it in a way that did not romanticize it or make light of it. It actually gave it some realistic point of view and acting was spot on. Sadly, it was too short and left some plot-holes here are there (but definitely not the worst drama this year). DBK was not horrible, but it wasn't great either (that I can agree on) TharnType was bad. The chemistry and acting was 10/10, but the script was horrible and the serious subject matters were treated as some joke or as a plot device only to get two people to have sex. Again, you can drop this drama if you feel like, that's your right to do, but from my observations of your comments in many dramas, I also think you tend to be too critical of the ones that don't have characters falling for each other and jumping in the bed. But there is nothing wrong with that if that is what you enjoy. Eh, at the end of the day, I am not trying to tell you what to do, but just found it odd that this would be your "first BL" drama to drop, when the series isn't that horrible.

Also, a lot of people complain if the drama is 8 episodes because they think that everything is rushed. So, no matter how many episodes it is, someone will complain about it anyways. My point is that for those saying they are dragging the story or not give secondary couples time,...well now they have more time to give them attention. So, I don't see this as a bad thing.

Okay I usually try to not say too much to people on what they should do or not do. But you were one of the few people complaining that they didn't know how they were going to fit all of the couples/stories into a 12 episode drama and how slow and stretched out it was. Now we actually might get some extra episodes, where they might give those couples and stories time to shine and you are going to drop it? I'm curious, why this would be the first drama you drop and not the few that have been crappier than this? LOL...I mean if that's what you feel like doing, it's fine, but a lot of your comments regarding dramas that are fluffy tend to be so critical and dramas with real problematic stories/script get super praised by you.
The best Thai bl drama I've watched so far.... I don't get how some say that the acting isn't good. Have you watched…
I've been watching some of these actors (in DBK) for years now and for them, this was pretty low bar of acting. AT least for Newwie imo. His acting wasn't that great and it hasn't been for a year or so. Maybe he's bored...either way, the drama wasn't HORRIBLE per say, but it wasn't what I had hoped it would be. Eh, it's fine though some people like it some don't.
I don't know but I actually did get the impression that they were "sleeping" together. Now whether that was sex…
Which is my point. That they have been hinting it, albeit poorly, but it's there if people catch on. I do agree though that they are poorly executing it.
The WinTeam scene is so strange. In the book, the two have had sex so often. While you don't understand anything…
I don't know but I actually did get the impression that they were "sleeping" together. Now whether that was sex or just sleep that's where I was confused. But their dialogue indicated that this was not the fist time that Team had gone to Win and spend time in his room. Also, remember in a previous episode when Dean and Pharm were holding hands, Team said to Win "don't even think about it" again that was another "clue" that more was going on. I guess it all started from when Win made Team drive him home in earlier episode.
I was wondering about that. Is that how it is in Thai culture
It's shame they did. I find that sometimes the directors take creative liberties that just don't make sense. Lets hope it doesn't continue for the last two episodes...ugg
I cant see how it will end at ep 12,its not enough
They might be thinking of a second season...considering that the other couple (WinTeam) still have a book that is not finished...typical of Thai Bls they tend to have a second season if they are popular enough.

For him this is his first relationship (be it with a man or a woman) he doesn't know how to "act" and feels nervous and scared. I do think that they needed to have him tell Dean something along the lines of "I'm sorry Dean, I'm just not comfortable yet. Or give me time." as it was filmed it gives the impression that he hates being touched by his boyfriend...but I'm trying to see it from a different lens. I guess for me it just seems like his is honestly scared of taking that step.
I had similar thoughts at first but then to me I just took it as once he learned that In killed himself it was…
Totally. I guess for me I am thinking this might be a budgetary decision (i.e. they didn't want to re-shoot the scene), but like you said they could have cut away. You aren't nitpicking, I think this is a valid critique because it doesn't help the story telling it actually detracts from it, but it's not too bad either LOL.

This is how I understood it to be. Initially most flashbacks were from Pharm and In's POV, and the few times Dean had POV we didn't see the bigger "picture"...after learning of In's suicide he was envisioning how it happened. I also think because he already knew that Pharm had a "birthmark" on the temple and also watched him get startled by the loud bangs, he connected the dots too. However, @sony25t is also right that it is sloppy writing as they could have done a better job showing us how Dean was picturing In's death.
I have watched thai dramas for over 15yrs they don't even put rapists in jail so nothing new here
I hear ya on the badly written end. However, for the hiking guy, I think that Hao Ting was imagining Xu as that guy. I don't think he was a double/doppelganger but more like Hao Ting's wish for him to be his lover. We can clearly see that when his sister looks inside the coffee shop and she doesn't react, meaning she didn't think that guy looked like Xu. I think that the writing just missed a lot of ways they could have told the story. But def agree that it was sloppy ending.
