I quite enjoy watching that, but I think a 9/10 score is waaaay to high.
Funny enough, I personally think some of the so called popular dramas out now that have high score should be lowered, given that it's fan driven anyways and not really a true representation of how good the drama is. A lot of dramas get voted down because there isn't much "hot scenes" or people don't want to see it actually have a good score so their favorite drama gets to be on the "higher list of bls..." but that's my opinion.
Okay, this may be unpopular opinion, but I keep seeing people complaining about the pauses and timing and blah…
The pauses would be better utilized if they gave the characters some inner monologues so we know what they are "thinking" or saying to themselves or even feeling. I don't have problems with pauses, but I do have problems when they lack some content that could make this series so much better. I still enjoy it.
This was by far one of the better episodes. I was happy to see the character development with Dean. I theorized that he would have better time expressing himself once things fell into place, and I am glad to see that happening. Though there were some unnecessary flashbacks, it was still pretty decent.
When I started to watch this, I originally thought that KimCop would end up a couple, cause some months aback…
Copter and Kim have their own BL drama coming out this year...I think it was something to do with Generation or something. Lazy posted the trailer for it, but they didn't show Kim or Copter yet...
I actually have to respectfully disagree. I find that New's acting has regressed some what and I don't know if…
He was better in KMA (I liked Sassy and honest Kao) and in Waterboyy I liked him as well. He can act, it's just that he has been going down instead of up. It's not just him either, Krist also has been on a decline. It's like the two don't seem to enjoy acting anymore or are over it...I would just like to see them get better if acting is what they see themselves doing for a long time.
New's acting has improved a lot. As compared to Kiss me series, he was less awkward. And in few scenes, the way…
I actually have to respectfully disagree. I find that New's acting has regressed some what and I don't know if it was the script or not, but even in Love beyond frontiers he wasn't good. And in Wolf, that was just silliness and weird acting. Not saying he was horrible, but he wasn't amazing either.
I don't know what to feel about this drama. There was so much unnecessary plots and little character development and no comeuppance for the "bad guys". We dont even know what happened to Non and if he even learned his lesson. There were a few episodes that were okay but there were too many that were not needed to drive the drama. I would have loved for these couples to have actual adult issues and not the juvenile plot that was thrown. Also I dont really care for secondary couples, but SunMork had very little chemistry to me but the actors did okay with the script given and I would have liked to see a better story for them. Podd is such a nice actor and Gavin I can tell can play a good character but Mork was not really showcasing his acting. Music sucked and whoever picked the score needs to be fired.
Also the MVPs of this drama are Rain, Pete's father and Kao's mother.
The title is the biggest hint of all, it implies some sort of loss, whether break-up, not living life to the fullest,…
Yes of course you are right about the title. For a while I've been saying that the title was kind of hinting at something and I guess I wasn't shocked by the ending because I kind of prepared myself for it to be a bitter-sweet ending. Either way, the drama wasn't bad.
So, I've been re-watching the drama and I realized that they were hinting at Xi GU's death from the start. Xi Gu had been starving himself for what appeared to be years and it was causing him to get sick and end up in the school infirmary. Granted, we can argue that he was doing this so he could get into a top university, but at one point or another Xi GU would have probably starved himself to death or the consequences of his starvation would have caused other health problems that would have led to an early death anyways. Come in Hao Ting and Xi Gu began having a better diet and began taking care of himself. Thus, Xi Gu began to cherish his days with Hao Ting and found the happiness he was missing. He was a lonely sad person who was still mourning his parents; and who knows if in the end he wanted all of that to end, but Hao Ting changed his life course. I understand that some people hate sad endings and wish for happiness, but sometimes I find these types of ending okay.
But I do agree that the inclusion of a character that looks like just Xi Gu was crap and could have been left behind. They could have shown Hao Ting living his life cherishing it just like Xi Gu would have wanted him to.
