So after a long day yesterday (going to a wedding that lasted 6 hours) and finally being able to wake up today to see the episode...here I am...one of my friends kindly spoiled the bathroom scene to me (as she knows I might not like certain scenes) and thankfully I was able to watch it with no issue.
Glad I did...
Porsche displayed such vulnerability in that scene; the hurt, the disbelief all chef kiss! Porsche is so used to taking care of others and at that moment against the mirror holding his hands towards his chest and Kinn pressed against him, he looked so small and resigned, but at the same time, it felt like he was relieved to have Kinn care for him even if he was angry.
I was a little confused at the beginning of the episode tho, though I guess a scene might have been missing or it might be a flashback we haven't seen. Maybe I missed something with my hangover-induced brain? Does anyone care to explain to me how we ended up with the Casino scene after Porsche fainted? Is it tied to the small special episode we saw where they were in the hospital and Vegas came with the flowers? I'll have to re-watch the beginning to understand it, but other than that extraordinary episode.
LOVED the action. The stunt people did a great job in some of the scenes, like the one falling from the upper level.
Why did the ratings drop from 8.2.... this MDL rating is annoying as fuck
This why I was weary about new people on MDL watching or coming here. We are going to get users that just like to rate on going dramas low to keep certain dramas higher. I wish MDL didn't allow for rating until at least the penultimate episode or last one.
Hi can I link this to my ACE discussion topic in the forums? I am trying to create a list of dramas and characters that fall on the ACE umbrella in MDL. I am also trying to share resources for anyone who may be questioning or wondering.
I'm ready for whatever violent death will occur today. I was happy with the introductory chapters, fluff and comedy, but i need to see some gore. This ep better give me some Boondock Saints/fightclub scenes 😅 from the preview in the casino i am highly anticipating it.
I agree a bit on the repetitiveness of the episode (but this is in line with most mangas turned to live-action)…
We really should start our own sub-community here in MDL to share not just our expriences but also our love for characters that might be in the ACE umbrella. I am happy to always meet people who have struggled and gone through life almost in the same manner I have.

Of course :) I love meeting those who are also ACE, our small community seems to be growing on MDL which is so cool. I felt alone for a while T_T but glad that so many are comfortable enough to share this part of themselves and can see themselves in these characters as well. Yeah OP actually is someone I see around a lot and they aren't meanspirited. They do tend to be very blunt about how they feel about certain things, but it does come from a good place (I hope so) I mean I've interacted with them before and I know that their opinions could be a bit polarizing to some, but they do have valuable input in the many dramas I've seen their comments. I'm sure OP wasn't trying to ruffle feathers.

Totally agree. This is why I tend graviate to characters like Kota and Fujiwara from Cherry Magic (I think that was her last name) and even Ae from LB was sort of ACE. I understood their feelings or lack of feelings towards relationships/love and how that did not really take priority in their lives. That's not to say that ACEs can't find love/relationships, it is just harder for us because of what we really need from the relationship may not be what someone who isn't ACE is willing to give or accept.
Darn. I was loving this series, but two unenjoyable episodes in a row have made me give up. This is going to be…

I also see your point of view about Kota and his obliviousness, but as an ACE, I never had any romantic/attraction to anyone so I either thought something was wrong with me or I didn't even bother thinking about it. The two relationships I did have were actually kind of pushed on me by my friends (they were the wingman so to speak, but I never made any indication that I wanted to be with anyone) so the whole idea of a crush was kind of something I had no real concept of except what others described (maybe I did have crushes, but I can't pinpoint it) I ended up pretending most of my life, pretending to like someone, pretending to like kissing someone, etc. When in reality I didn't get any enjoyment out of it, rather I felt like I was forcing myself to like it. (sorry for the personal anecdote)
So despite his behaviors coming across as 2D and not like a real person, I can guarantee that his behaviors are indeed something that some of us do experience or have experienced.
But like I said, I do agree with you on the repetitiveness, let's hope that it will not be dragged too long.

It is so nice to know we are real :)
