Wow, this was a beautiful episode. The addressing of Toh's hoarding was done well. I loved Sky and Jao and I'm not really a second couple fan, but they work so well. Also DAISY/TOUCH! AS a said, I am not into second couples in BLs that much because simply they aren't given enough time to develop, but with SkyJao they have taken the time to actually do so alongside Toh and Neua. But Daisy and touch caught my eyes and I wish they had more time. I really like their dynamic. If they end up having a second season, I hope the focus is on Daisy, Touch, Som, and Tor. They would have a lot of material to develop their stories.
okay its time for me to catch up this lovely show. Been a bit busy with real life stuff (also got in a car accident…
Sending you healing thoughts! May you recover quickly.
Honestly, this show is a beautiful mess and I almost gave up on it second episode, but then it just grew on me. Sure there is much to critique, but at the same time, there is much to praise as well. The beautiful way that they have addressed certain issues not only in the LGBTQ but also in the way that these characters are never given the space/platform to be the main characters, but here they are! I adore that they were given a voice and not relegated to the comic relife sidekick with little to no substance.
This show is nearly a 9 for me. I'll wait and see how they close it out before I give it a rating.
This was so cute! Honestly, they are YING and YANG so it makes sense that although Kota might be using Naoya for his own benefit, Naoya himself might also benefit from this. Being lucky all the time could also be negative as it might let someone be too dependent on that luck and not really appreciate what they get. Naoya was forced to go back and try his luck again to get that Penguin which made it even more meaningful, but at the same time, he failed to see that getting those keychains that matched with Kota was also good luck, as it signified their status...if Kota had been unlucky he probably would have gotten a different type of key chain, instead, they got the same matching couple.
There is a saying that all your good luck was used when you were being born, so everyone has bad luck, but it is how we turn that around that makes it good.
I can't wait for the next episode and their cohabitation!! I am so excited for when they HOLD hands! and get all domestic. SIGHS!!!!
Not many liked it. I didn't mind it, but I guess with the promise of a season 2 many were looking forward to that after the movie release, but then it took them over a year so the hype died down.
They took too long to release it, then they released a movie that a lot of people were unhappy with. Now it seems they might even drag the movie stuff into season 2 (I am not sure if rumors are true) so they might be ruining the flow of the show as well.
This 3rd ep was good in setting up the plot. I was surprised to see Fiat acting in this (though I should have checked out the complete cast list) from what I have read a few days ago, he is no longer with GMM? I mean I am not surprised if that is true. He has been wasting his talents there. GMM doesn't know how to capitalize on certain actors and a lot of them are leaving.
I wish that the dramas were a bit more realistic (at least when it comes to tackling jobs with HIPPA issues) not sure how Thailand works, but most medical fields operate in the same manner and that Dr. having a patient's file on his own personal laptop is a violation of not just the patient's right to privacy but the hospital's procedures in securing private health information (PHI) both Tin and Sing should have called him out on the spot on that. They should have told him that Rit's medical records were not only incomplete in the hospital system, but that he was violating the PHI policy by keeping it to himself. Now, we know he did this to cover whatever illegal thing he has done, but for the sake of the drama, if they are going to introduce this plot point they should at least let these characters behave as they would in reality. Doctors would have either called him out or gone straight to the board to put in the complaint.
They've said it. You can look it up on Twitter, they had a whole Asexual Photo essay about their journey from female to male and everything under the LGBTQAI umbrella. this link is their interview https://i.kym-cdn.com/editorials/icons/mobile/000/000/401/may14.jpg (it is in Japanese but you can auto translate)
BTW, Porsche's tattoo is gorgeous. Don't have tattoos myself, but have thought about to get one.I am just afraid…
I have three. Pain wasn't an issue...it was committing to them so it takes me years to figure out what I want and then I go for it. I am about to get three more. You won't see a lot of blood, if you have a good artist they will make sure you aren't seeing that. Pain wise, I say take a pain reliever at least an hour before getting it done if you are very sensitive to pain (but again from my experience, pain wasn't that bad)
y'all I have a question. Does anyone else find it incredibly funny that thai people name their kids "fiat" and…
They are not normal names, but rather nicknames, their real names are too long (if they use actual Thai names) but some already have English names as well if they are mixed. However, nothing can beat porn and barcode in my opinion...talk about really getting shafted in the nickname department!!!
This was a good episode. Now I am more than intrigued with Kin/Chay and Big something is up and I wonder if Porsche/Chay's parents died saving Kin/Tankul from something (remember that Tankul was hurt somehow and he ended up having his mental health really distorted)
One of my theories is that Porsche's parents were part of the mafia (maybe even in some guarding type of way) and they were killed because of that. So Kin's "who done it" board seems to have pictures of a man and woman that looked like Porsche's parents, but I wasn't able to really tell so I have to go back and watch the first episode to see if they resemble them. He also had a picture of a man with the word "fraud" across it and that seemed to be the man that Kinn killed.
Vegas is a very interesting person. He is the sadistic type and it will be interesting to see how he moves in the next few episodes. From the original trailer, I remember him saying to Kinn that his smaller mafia family isn't the real traitors.
