The difference in a comment between here and YT couldn't be more diverse. I'm enjoying this because it breaks up my Wednesday/Thursday hump since nothing else is going on drama wise.
Also, a lot of people on YT were so happy to see Weir get slapped and I was like...WTF...He doesn't deserve to be physically assaulted by his boss just because his boss couldn't communicate with him and hear out what Weir had to say. Granted, it is wrong for Weir to lead Pooh on, but neither one owes Punn an explanation as to their "status" the only thing I found wrong in this whole scene was that a boss took a physical approach to "discipline" his employee in front of customers. I know that the ex-lover coming in and making a scene is grounds for him to be upset, but Weir DID NOT deserve that assault.
Either way, looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Though the preview shows Punn wanting Weir to win a competition for his bakery's sake, you'd think he would have thought about how important Weir is to his success!
I am wondering how the bet will come to play now that they both know their feelings. Also, the pictures that pran…
He draws the things that Pat does for him...like the condensed milk bottle, the take out box. The question is will we see all of the sketches because I feel there might be some from their high school years like the guitar pick.
Shoot rewatching the episode i just realized Pran's foreshadowing when in the flashback of him and Pat writing the song he pretty much said how he would act on that rooftop. The whole conversation about the feelings in the song are mirrored in the rooftop kiss, every single word. That was such a great callback to their past. Kudos to the director 👏
I think a scene we don't talk about enough is when Pat said "defeated by that lousy song?why would I feel anything?"…
It is also an unresolved need for Pat. They couldn't finish singing the song together because of Pran's parents and it was their song. So when Pran was able to sing it with Wai and knowing that Pran's mother really likes Wai, Pat just felt as though he isn't worthy. So he lashed out and wanted Wai to know he was the friend who Pran wrote the song with.
I really enjoyed the way they handle Okono-sensei's prejudice. He wasn't being homophobic purposely, but rather he had probably never met a gay or bi person in his life and for him, it was something hard to digest. Some people are like that and often we end up making them out to be this evil person when in reality this comes from a place of ignorance. But he had some self-reflection and realized that in the end, we must respect people's choices as they don't affect us personally. The way he said "I see, you have the freedom to like what you like" (of course this is not word for word)
This drama has a very nice pace and development. I had read the manga a year or so ago, but I can't remember much of it, however, I do remember having the same feelings as I do now. I really enjoy it.
Awww I want to stay in Thailand for a month. I want to experience the culture, food and go to BL Series’ locations.…
I had plans for 2022 as well, but with the state of the world, I might push this for 2023. I actually had a whole tour of Asia planned (with me going to four different countries) but can't risk it now :(
