I appreciate dramas/characters that are clear on what they want. Akkun telling Hashimoto that he wants to be friends without really hurting her feelings in the process was well done. I always had an issue when some characters are depicted as "harsh" for rejecting someone, but in reality, I like people who just say how it is. Akkun obviously cares a lot for his friends and friendships. All of these friendships are so healthy because even when there is a conflict they talk it out to clear the air. Even Ida's friend was smart enough to "guide" the others away from the rooftop to give Ida some privacy with Aoiki without even knowing their "relationship status"
I am so excited for next episode because it might have that scene from the manga (what I can vaguely remember) which is going to be sweet.
I'm excited because I am a sucker for actors who embodied their roles and Singto learning to BAKE (I am a home baker myself) that ist just the cherry on top (yes pun--sue me) I could have gone with Chef's kiss too LOL
Actually, Nanon said he is doing "method acting" he internalise his role as Pran.
Did he really say this? because I had mentioned two episodes back that he seemed to be doing method acting and that's why his character was relatabled. If he is truly doing that, he got to be careful, method acting can really confuse the mind!
My mother instinct came out of nowhere watching this episode. Nanon really is a good actor!!! I was feeling for Pran in that situation. It hit home for me. I lowkey like how Pat is so oblivious to his feelings for Pran but also obvious lol π π
Got to say that some of the editing choices in this episode were a bit wonky but not too glaring. It just lost me a bit at first, bur overall I am so excited for the next episode.
I am so in love with this. Please baby yoda don't let GMM ruin it! These two boys are so amazing in these roles and Nanon is just precious. I am not sure if he is doing method acting but he has truly transformed into Pran.
yikes! I wanted to really like it, but man did they throw everything in the kitchen sink *not in a good way* and just ruined what could have been a great story. Lack of clear plot, secondary characters that made no sense, and honestly very little lack of chemistry between some of them. That said, there were some great points, like the way it was filmed and the food porn, but overall, it wasn't a good enough drama to make me want to see it again. It will go into my "I watched it, but I will forget it ever existed" list. That doesn't mean that it can't be something that someone else might enjoy. I am all for slow burns, but this was glacial paced to the point of giving me frostbite. Poor Mark, he should really find something more challenging, I think he can act but he wasn't guided properly here.
Young fanbase? Of all stories... Bad Buddy lol? I think this story is wayyyy too angsty to fit that bill. It may…
what baffles me the most about some of these people who complain about it being "juvenile" is that they don't realize that these are still KIDS who just happened to be in their first year of college. I know grown A&& people who still have this bully/macho behavior and never grew out of it. Most kids don't fully mature until like age 25-28 realistically based on brain science.
