I honestly don't understand Aek's dilemma here. He is already working as a delivery man. Cannot he change that…
That isn't his dilema. It is him either doing the career his mother wants him to do or going after his passion of cooking food and being a chef. She wants him to do something like accounting/Business and nothing to do with food, but he wants to be a chef. She wants him to sort of be in the same boat as his cousins/family members because she wants to brag that her son also graduated from a business school.
There is no plot not dialog and even the food doesn't make you wanna eat, it's just became boring. and compare…
Dude the plot is pretty obvious. This is basically going to be about Aek lying to his mother about his passion for being a chef and working as one, and Auk dealing with a rival that beat him in a competition and him losing his way, so he will need Aek to show him again how to love food and make it from the heart.
The food looks amazing even for a venga like me...I want to try that green curry! (minues the meat)
What's wrong with food porn?I don't think the pacing is slow, it just allows scenes to develop. I'm actually hoping…
That's probably a rival. They seemed to have been partners maybe in a restaurant or even friends during a competition. It seems that she won the competition and he lost and maybe it was due to some bullsh** reason so he probably always felt lacking or less than because of her. Even if she were a girlfriend she basically said that she will win again when they compete.
I saw some comments about the lack of "clarity or direction or conflict" about this drama. It's only the first episode not everything will be laid out before us. For me, I think the conflict was already being laid down for us when Aek and his mother were talking about his future. It is obvious that he will have to choose between a career or his passion for cooking, which his mother doesn't seem to approve of. Now here he is with a chef who wants him to work for him because Aek has a gift for food/flavors. I related so much because I wanted to be a baker (I bake a lot) and I grew up in the kitchen with my mom showing me to cook, so when I actually ended up doing something entirely different as a career, part of me still wishes I had gone to culinary school. Alas, sometimes you do things to please your parents because you know how much they have sacrificed for you.
I just didn't like her way of putting so much pressure on Aek, because she just basically in a way said that she cares more for what her neighbors say than what makes her child happy.
So Aek will probably hide his involvement in cooking in a restaurant from his mother.
I love slow burns so I really hope this one turns out well. I also adore Mark so much, that kid has something about him, so I want him to finally get a real good drama.
I guess since I've never been attached to the other actors aside from Apo I don't really feel all that upset about it. Things happen and because this drama was being pushed back so much it is understandable that the actors who are getting jobs aren't going to reject those opportunities. Others may also have had prior engagements that weren't interfering with this project, but due to corona they probably had to do it now. It's never easy for actors to walk away from projects, especially ones with so much hype, so whatever decisions they made, we should cheer them on and wish them the best on their next project.
This story is almost complete copy of Where Your Eyes Linger, that is way better than this one. I could tolerate…
Basic plot written over and over again over 100 years doesn't make it a copy of where your eyes linger. Like really I've seen so many make this comparison, but the plot itself is nothing new, been done long before BL dramas were even a thing.
Was this a spectacular Emmy-worthy drama? no. Was it still entertaining given the state of the world with covid, shut-downs, and barely any BL dramas seeing the light of day? Yes! Listen I can be pretty brutal with dramas here, other times, I am also a sucker for badly written stories...don't know where I lie in the scheme of things, but having a pretty rough year that just seems to keep getting worse, not better, gave me time to just appreciate this wattpad inspired story. My rating for it is still between 6.5-7.0 because I am still not quite sure about what I loved or hated about this. I guess I was just -_- I'll delve into it later when I have watched it again with all episodes in one go (which I tend to do with almost all dramas cause I'm a weirdo like that)
It seems to me that, in the last episode, all chemistry between the characters is gone. Honestly, everyone seemed…
From what I have been told by some Thai BL fans, a lot of series there film the last episode first and that's why some actors seem stiff or not comfortable. But IMO that's a lazy excuse, because these actors have acting camps/classes together before a drama starts so the producer/director and writting team can see the chemistry or what they need to improve/fix/change.
He's good at comedy and passable at many other things, but he's awful at anger, and he's called about to express…
Me too I know someone who looks like this or worse...I end up laughing at them when they start getting angry. Sadly, we don't talk too much because of that.
The main issue with gun besides his lack of control in his face and other stuff is the person he’s paired with…
LOL yeah I can understand that his acting needs a lot of work. I also do think that somewhere the director/acting coach just weren't doing their job in guiding these actors. Most of them are still new (minus Bank) but everyone else still needs a lot of guidance in how they can user their body/facial expressions and such to convey emotions. I do think Gun has improved from LBC, I hope if he is still looking at acting as a real career that he imrpoves and takes advantage of acting classes/coach. I am glad he got to do a drama with other actors and not his mates from his company because he will be forced to grow more if he is acting with other people he doesn't know.
I just love Pitch, Bank and Sun. Sky was acting like a spoiled brat.
Sky was hurt and felt like he was being rejected by Sun. Most people react in anger because anger is the easier emotion to deal with. He also acted like a "brat" to teach Sun but it backfired on both of them. Seems like his character makes sense to me.
going into the drama after reading the comments I thought I was going to watch a disaster...LOL...the episode wasn't even that bad. Considering how the drama has been, it just seemed like it was pretty much feeling the same.
Gun's acting isn't that horrible. Yes, he can use more training, but I know quite a few people who when angry look like that or even worse. I have also seen some ugly crying (Kim K much) so it's not like he looked deformed or anything. He is much better than in LBC so with more acting he can only improve.
Bank! what a cutie pie. He is the "naive" but smart character and I live for him and Pitch. The second couple syndrome strikes hard in this drama because their story progresses a bit faster than the leads, but I think both couples are okay. This is a drama meant to pass the time and It's helping me get over the week slump for sure.
i think in the same time in episode 6 or 7 :)) but i think both of the couples will get together in one episode…
I think they are togethere arleady as well. Look at the scene by the bonefire as they sat next to each other, Bank had a possessive arm around Pitch's chair. We didn't get to see what happened after the pond almost kissed incident, but the following scene just makes me wonder what happened. Pitch got all gay panic and then the next scene he is so casually leaning into Bank's arms around his chair...Something smells fishy! Bet they will have a flashback scene.
LOL I just love this show...it's so simple *yes like reading a wattpad story* but that is the charm of this. I don't have to think too much about plots and characters are likable...even the baddies (daddies) ^_^ can we use emojis now?? 🧐
The food looks amazing even for a venga like me...I want to try that green curry! (minues the meat)

Not sure what the issue was in this drama.
I do hope he gets better.
