I know Xie Lian has the more "feminine" look, but ZZH can pull him off. Honestly, there were some scenes where ZZH was just too dam pretty and I couldn't take my eyes off of him. With the right make up, he can pull it off. Either way, it's just wishful thinking LOL

The humor isn't the problem. It is the excusion of some of the tired tropes they can't seem to move from though the drama has many good points too. Like I said, GMM has a way of runinning a lot of their dramas and love to divert too much from the source material to add things that aren't even needed to drive a point home.

Most BL dramas have two cursed episodes...Ep 7 and Ep 11. These are the usual turning points in these dramas because of the number of episode they are allotted (usually 12 to 14). Which sometimes leaves little to no room for real character or story development because often the dramas have too many filler scenes/episodes.
This drama tried to break the curse of ep 7 and decided the they would ruin the story in Ep 8. Kudos to them for trying to be "unpredictable" with the formula, but they still made a mess of what could have been a great drama. Like I had said a few weeks ago, this drama is geared towards younger crowd (tweens/teens) still that is no excuse for the way some of the toxic behaviors are being handled. I am forever team Pi and I really like the way he is unapologeticly blunt. I know he could be standoffish and off putting, but thank god we got such a flawed lead that is relatble in many ways. He is the only reason I continue to watch this drama.
Mork was a good character initially, but in the last three episodes I've been rolling my eyes because of the traits the directors/producers decided to highlight.
I can't say it enough but I am so sick of the "lets make them jealous with the girl trope" It is a cheap way to resolve any emotional conflicts between two characters. I wish for once we had more nuanced way to deal with two boys falling for each other. They were managing so well with the push and pull thing they were doing and using Meung Nan as a buffer, there was no need to add a woman character to the equation. Just cheapens the experince and once again makes women look like the bad characters.

When I first watched him in Advance Bravely, I was hooked on his acting. He was a cheeky kind of kid and it is so great to see him grow so much in his acting. He was amazing in WoH so I am looking forward to more of this talented young man.
