I think so far the series is funny although the humor used is not for everyone and yeah the rating just suddenly…
::raises hand::: I'm an adult who has been watching or reading Bl content for over 20 years. I don't think this has anything to do with age. This is most likely from fans from other dramas that want this to fail. I give all BL content a chance and if it's good, it's good. If it's bad it's bad...if it's in the middle then that's it. This shouldn't be serious. Some people in the last two years or so have become truly toxic and have made this experience on this site really frustrating. We can all critique what we liked or didn't liked. The problem usually lies in that some people do it to rile up the site and other fans.
Also one two of favorites dramas are from GMM (HCTM, ATOTS) so I know that GMM is capable of not only giving us good dramas, but also producing BLs that are not the typical genre. The issue with GMM tends to be that most of their dramas start off really well and then suddenly they become boring/frustrating. So for most of us it is the experience of how bad it can turn that keeps us on edge with GMM. LOL
Main leads are super cute , cant wait till friday..But can you tell me bl drama with similiar plot?
Yes 2moons is similar to this. I personally liked 2moons the first season (with the first cast, even if their acting wasn't superb) but there are two series so you can watch both and see which one you like.
I don't think that the person behind the balloons was Mork. Definitely different facial features
OMG you too? I thought there was something there with him looking at Pi. I mean it would make sense that they would add a third love interest for Pi to compete with Mork. That's usually how formulaic romance dramas tend to be. LOL
It was Duean who made the yogurt spoon for Mean, not Pi? They are the other couple. We only really see Pi interact…
You are right...He is guarded because the people he thought were his friends, were really not and they put him down and praised his older brother. So he doesn't trusts others because of his trauma with his old friends. So he will be on the defense with Mork and ontop of that the unclear relationship between Mork and Mueang Na just makes him even more distrustsful of Mork.
Having watched the two episodes again (don't ask I kept getting distracted) and seeing some comments how they don't like Pi...it got me wondering why I love this character so far...and the answer is that WHAT A REFRESHING FLAWED AF character! Yes! I am so happy that we have a ML that isn't cookie cutter and has some endearing qualities, but also some annoying ones. This makes him so multideminsional and if they continue to explore him more, can't wait to see where it goes. And the show is comedy more than anything, so I wasn't going in expecting a superb script, yet I like how they are playing off on the satire of BLs (is this a new trend now, where BLs are making fun of other BLs?) I think because I've been so bored lately, that this silly piece just checks off the right boxes so far. But given my experience with GMM...I am holding my breath (really thightly)
Mark tested positive for COVID-19 and I believe that others are getting tested. Most of the actors were taking cooking classes to learn to cook for the drama. Wish him the best!
I don't think that the person behind the balloons was Mork. Definitely different facial features
The person seemed to have different features and on top of that they seemed ot have "leaned up" to kiss him, whereas Mork is taller than Pi and would "lean down" instead...but that's just my observation. Maybe a third guy will be introduced in this equation.
I watched this again to see if I'd have a more positive reaction, and overall, I didn't, except I noticed how…
Except that the person who kisses him with all of the balloons doesn't seem to be Mork if you pay close attention. So there might a twist there of perhaps it being Mueang Na or some other character that comes later.
This is why the drama is actually quite loved. Its simplicity and not too complicated plots, its change of scenery/venue,…
it's okay. As I said you either like it or don't (or maybe in between) but this being your first Thai drama will actually help you see how good this gem is once you start watching other Thai Dramas. There is a reason why certain dramas are always "recommended" to new viewers such as I told Sunset About you, He's coming to me, Until We meet again, Manner of Death etc. There are some that are going to make you go "wtf". Like dllmzca said, you migth enjoy the book more compared to the drama. ^_^
OK, I just finished ep6 and I find the plot so predictable! I mean, I saw that plot twist coming from miles away...…
This is why the drama is actually quite loved. Its simplicity and not too complicated plots, its change of scenery/venue, the use of all characters to drive the plot forward. Also, the story is really more about Tian therefore, he will be the one with the most character development/nuance. When you have such a saturated market, like BLs are right now, and they are all mostly trying to outdo the other (mostly by forgoing story telling and focusing on certain plots/traits) a story like 1000 stars will actually float to the top because it isn't trying hard to convince you to like it. Either you do or you don't and that's what makes it such a good BL imo. We can agree to disagree on these points, but just wanted to share it with you.
