80s style has been in for a few years now. At least in NYC where I live a lot of people are rocking the 80s style again.

I agree with you with the Phupah bit, but I also believe that the story is more about Tian and his journey to not only fullfill Tofurn's wish, but to discover his real worth... so that's why his character is better developed and less time was given to other characters. Tian is central to this story and everything else revolves around him. I wish they did give Phu more nuance, but I find that Earth has done a good job so far. Minus the last episode where he was a bit OCC compared to the way he has been portrayed so far. I also agree that objectification of these boys because they are "hot" is sometimes cringy and unnecessary.

I guess that's why I am patient LOL..I remember back in the days living in my country of birth (now living in the US) how we didn't even get that many shows...we had like 3 channels and watching cartoons required us waiting a whole week for the weekend....I am Gen X and Gen Y (I was born at the cutoff point LOL)

Let me just say....That since I am almost there in age, I appreciate an older actor so much and I can't wait to see what he brings to the table. The trailer made me really interested in him.

I love this drama I really do, but there was some unnecessariry crap in this episode. Honestly, based on the book spoilers, they gave way too much importance to certain plots that were not that central in the book. I understand that they needed to have a conflict for Tian/Torfun/Phu's story, but some of it was not really needed. I dislike the way the rangers were behaving, because in reality they were also at fault for not telling the villagers the truth. I'm still loving it, but hope that the next two episodes really do Tian some justice.

I think a lot of people forget that some relationships take time to develop. I'm more a slow burn type of person so I like it when the story is well developed and the relationships progresses in a more organic way.

Look this is not a spoiler since it's in the first episode. Tian is not the one who was driving. He passed out 6:38 timestamp. It is more than likely that someone was driving his car to take him to the hospital and they probably hit Tofurn. Since the other friends had their own car, it is likely that one of them stayed behind to report Tofurn's death. Tian feels responsible because it was his car that hit her, but I don't believe it was him driving. It could also be that one of the friends stayed behind to finish the race to save Tian's reputation and that's what happened and they accidently killed tofurn and fled the scene.

I'm not as excited as I was for this drama. Not sure what it is, but I do love Up's acting so I'm sticking around for him. We shall see how I feel mid-point...

they could do it in a way where they are just opening the negotiating tables for the villagers to speak with different companies that produce either teas or other things that can be used natrually. It's not really them using Tian but more like Tian taking respoinsibility for the financial hardship he brought the villagers It was his rash behavior, though it was because he cared, that put them in this situation. So in a way Tian is making things right.

That's what I kept saying to myself...LIke dude your father got pulled with very powerful people and businesses, I know you don't want to give away where you are, but go to Papa!!
