For someone who gave What The Duck 7.5 stars you really don't have any taste, do you? Also, this is a comedy BL,…
I can personally find better development in a crap like WTD than I could in this trash disguised as a comedy. Perhaps my taste are mine and yours are yours? That's why I give MY opinion and not a fact.
Asian culture. Different to modern Western culture. If you live near virtually any Asian culture you will see…
That's not necessarily true. I am western/caribbean and we behave the same way. We have a saying that when we cook, we don't know how to cook for one person, we cook for a whole village.
I don't know. I didn't vibe with this as much as others did. I think the origal plot was such an interesting take on BL, but I wasn't really into the execution of it. It is still watchable, but it lacked something. Not sure what...
I think that they ended things well for many of the characters. Bew is my MVP I liked her character the most because she had the best development and care (you can tell whoever wrote her, really understood her) I loved that she may find love with a caring man and she could learn to love herself.
I loved Cris and Amm...they had some ups and downs, but they were true to themselves and dealt with their issues. They actually communicated even when Cris didn't want to open up or when Amm was insecure and scared. I loved her coming out as an ACE it was explained well.
Stud and Ta---ehh don't know how to feel about this. For me, Stud has been such and unlikable character, but I do hope (if they do a 3rd season) that he improves on himself. I did like that he started to realize that he needed to change. Even when his mother was alive, he was refusing to do any self-reflecting, but when Earth finally pulled the wool away from his eyes, he realized he would never be good enough for Earth. This was the push he needed to finally give up. Ta for me is just the re-start he needed.
Earth and Sam: YES! I am so happy they did not end together. They were not fit for each other at all. Their relationship was doomed since season 1. There was no way they could work out all of the trust issues that Sam himself was the cause of. I disliked how he tried to blame Earth for ruining their "dream" how he was so excited about buying a house and s**T, but Earth had already made it clear he wasn't ready for that. He had even told him so epiosdes prior to this. He (Sam) just assumed that Earth was unhappy with the house he and Pop bought, so he went to buy a new one...but it was all his doing. Earth was pretty clear that he wasn't ready for kids, house and whatever future Sam was dreaming up.
I am glad that Earth realized that he needed to work on himself. He truly went through a lot and didn't deal with it properly. Mourning a relationship takes time and therapy, neither which he and Sam really committed to do. When you decide to stay with someone who cheated you can do one of two things 1) never bring that up and move on from it 2) wallow in self-pity and always bring it up when you fight with your partner. Earth chose 2 and that's why they never moved on.
Boyo--I disliked her so much in season 1 and here for some time I wasn't really feeling her, but I was glad that she began to mature and realized that sometimes true happiness can come from being alone. She tried to find love, but realized that loving herself was more important. I loved her conversation with Music, she inspired Music to take a stand and not get trampled by Locker's manipulation.
This seems like there might be a 3rd season? Such and open ending...which I sometimes like because it makes it realistic.
Also this is a cautionary tale to many, surround yourself with toxic friends and misery will follow.
Girl did I not say that Max felt different in this drama since the start?! Lol The dark vibe he gave off was intense.…
YES!! I liked that this drama is giving him a chance to grow his portfolio. He can do a bad guy so well...so I could only imagine him doing more of these types. I can see him as an under cover operative too.
OMG...Max's stare...I can't..it does something to me. i've never felt any attraction to him, but his eyes are so beautiful and intense...what even....Also, his acting has improved a lot from Together. The story is getting better because we are finally getting a bit more action and intrigue. There are still some issues with continuity or editing, but other than that, is not too bad.
