Since I have nothing new to say about the plot or pacing AGAIN this week. Here is a character analysis of Lee Jun because he’s always getting eaten alive in this comment section.
From the beginning I’d had the hunch that Lee Jun isn’t as clueless as the show wants to make us think. In my opinion he’s the type to act clueless in order to have a good time. Imagine knowing your close hyung and your close senior both have a thing for you, while you don’t reciprocate that type of affection. I don’t blame him for acting dumb and hoping they don’t confess. He’s just trying to keep the friendship intact.
Point in case, his animosity for Choi Jun when he perceived that he was being courted while the other party was already in a relationship. His feelings are involved, he’s jealous and unhappy, and doesn’t want to be toyed with. Why? Because HE has feelings for Choi Jun. Reason why he can no longer act clueless and pretend it’s not happening. Plus, if we go by the synopsis for this show, Cho Jun and Lee Jun consider each other their first love, in drama land it means one and only love, so suspend your disbelief at how fast their affection has been rekindled lol
I might be totally off with this one and giving Lee Jun way too much credit though lmao
I know this is a BL, and of course I liked the main pairing and most of the side pairings BUT… I freaking loved Manow abd Pruek. Why are they so freaking lovableeeee ???
Didn't he already go? I though he traveled too :)) It was translated as: every time I wanted to leave I looked…
I like the way you see thing much better haha, because I was so disappointed when nothing big happened. I would love to have a season 2 because then we could see the relationship develop instead of just kinda being told.
I 100% agree with you... I thought (or hoped maybe) that Jae Won would have the courage to follow her at the last…
I actually do think they went on kinda separate trips, but I also feel like it was unnecessary. Like couldn't they have let Jin Hee have something that was purely her own. This was her independence parade and Eun Mi crashed it lol

I took at as in this was his dream but he never actually went on it, which was so devastating to me tbh like how sad can you get. Like that book was the way he escaped every time he felt like running away.
Also when Jin Hee tells her mom that she wants to go travel, she starts of with "this year I broke up" so I took it as her and Jae Won's relationship not working out even though they both like each other. Them traveling together would have been a nice touch to show that Jae Won was willing to give them a chance and simultaneously go on that trip he had always dreamed of.
I actually do think they went on separate trips, but it also felt like Eun Mi was just copying Jin Hee idk it felt forced and weird to me
Unlike most of the comments here, Jin Hong grew on me. He gained confidence and found his place, but he was sad, weak, and disappointing for most of this show. I get why people dislike him.
Jae Won was a sorry existence stuck in his trauma and refusing to get over it. He saw himself as a martyr that deserved his suffering. I held on to the hope that he was going to leave with Jin Hee, but of course he wouldn’t. He handed her his dream in that freaking book. Like that hurt, hurt. Like I’m freaking floored. Like how can you keep on existing knowing that fear took your dreams away from you. As you can see, I took that personally.
In my comment for the previous ep I was critical of Jin Su’s existence as a character, but I get it know. It was so satisfying to see at least one man in this show gain the confidence to finally live his life properly and without fear. The way I squealed when I realized what his whole deal of acting weird through the drama stemmed from. It just worked. I loved it, ok.
To end this, why did they both go traveling? Like what a try hard ending. Bye. IDK what to rate this.
If Ep 7 showed the worst version of Eun Mi, Ep 11 showed the best. She's such a polarizing character, sometimes she disgusts me, and other times I feel so much satisfaction in the way she faces the world with no fear.
Jin Hong was great standing his ground and defending this new family he's begun to build with Eun Mi and Jin Hee. Eun Mi almost dying was the much needed catalyst for character development in these two dysfunctional parents. It specially gave Jin Hong a proper role as a caretaker in this family, and he no longer seems to be walking on thin ice. Ji Eun turned out to be such a nice addition to the family dynamic, she truly does care for Jin Hee, as she should.
Jae Won and Jin Hee. I screamed. Yes. Thank you drama gods. I wish it would have come sooner but that confession was so them, I can't complain. Is it too early to ask for season 2 ? I knew we were going somewhere this episode when they panned to Jae Won in the hospital, when Jin Hee was hugging Jin Su. Speaking of Jin Su, like are they really not going to give us anything ???
!!! That picture of Jae Won is totally folded in half, and we know who's on the other side. !!!
The writing is all over the place. They did too much with very little time for the episode that feels like 15…
YES! At this point in the show I would expect the story to have progressed much further. I feel like we lost so much time in episode 4 and 5 that could have been used to move the story forward.
I agree, the problem here is that we're on episode 5 and nobody is out in the open with their intentions. Like all three of them know Lee Jun, he needs someone to tell him explicitly what is going on or he won't get it. They're all at the starting line when we should already have a winner.
This show's biggest enemy is its horrible pacing. No matter how I look at it they do not have enough time for unresolved misunderstandings and dilly dallying.
If this show was longer I could see why they would do stuff like this, but it isn't and that is concerning. I also wish there was time to properly look at the Simeon x Hyung Jae dynamic, because it feels like there's some weird love triangle thing going on there (and they look good together), but we'll probably get some half assed afterthought of a storyline, if any.
EDIT: To be fair, I don't think this was a bad episode (5), but as a whole drama, I don't know where this train is going.
Well I wanted to watch this but judging by the comments it feels like a mess and definitely not a good one. I…
i have a feeling this would be much more watchable in one sitting, I think the 4 main actors are charming and have good chemistry, so I’d watch for that once it finishes airing
I’m on ep 7 and Eun Mi is really getting on my nerves…
There’s nothing touching abouth this mother and daughter duo making up because it always seems like Jinhee has to give something up for Eun Mi to be happy.
This ep was kinda meh compared to the previous one’s, but I am excited to see Hyeongseop on screen next week.
Also, let me just say the whole fiancee thing is just wack, like they do not have enough time to pull stuff like this, they need to find the plot fast or stick to 100% romantic hijinks or this is doomed.

Three (3) episodes left and at this point everyone is still being weird with Lee Jun, everyone blames him for being oblivious, but isn't it more that all these mixed ass signals have him confused. Jun pulls the fiancé card with zero explanation, Hyun Jae is scared of getting rejected, and Simeon almost feels like he's bullying him lol
