also, in the novel they used quite a bit of Wumio's techniques of Guo which the director here has removed.

The director may even kill the FL and favor the aunt daughter.

Well - the novel is 800 chapters even if you reduce it by 50 % it it would be 400 chapters - so, you cannot expect the director to condense it in accordance with the novel. We should give them the freedom to change a little bit to make it interesting and it is. So, no worries.

The drama does not follow the novel and people who have read the novel don't feel like the drama is up to par in their opinion. But the director and producer have changed quite a bit but the main parts are still there and moving forward pretty well. If you seem to like the drama and it is entertaining, just stick with it.

Also, many have been cussing the ML being a simp and so on, but that is not true either, and he is still in the phase of courting and getting along pretty well and the dog is the best and you will love all the games it plays along with the ML. So, enjoy it.

As you can see, many do not like the male lead, but the title of the drama is "the brocaded tale of Girl Si" - which would be a female centric drama.

when she showed up with Noah, she did not know anything about her medical issues. From what I saw - she had gone to the US and came back since she felt left out and Noah getting along with his step mom. She did not like that and she came back and joined a local hospital that her classmate runs.
She only realized her problem after coming back.

In the novel, the crown prince is demoted (twice) and later dies. The empress is a nice person better than Jin's mother that you see in ep 23. She does not have any other kids (sons), but only a daughter -- Princess Fuquing.

The princess already tried to injure Jiang Zhan - jiang si brother. He was rescued by Yu Jin (Qi). Now according to the novel - her marriage is arranged to the 8th prince. She is on her wedding procession and her lover (Jiang si's sister husband who had a affair and tried to kill Jiang si 's sister Jiang Yi) - saying that they are lovers and disrupts the wedding and the wedding does not happen. Emperor then says that lovers should not be separated and allows them to marry.

the next ep 24 will throw light on it. Even though she blabbers about him being a prince and trying to marry Si, he shuts her up. I don't think he would ever marry such a person. Even in the previous life, we only see Jiang Si, jumping off the cliff and Qi 's wife pushing her off the cliff. But we don't see Jin marrying her or living with her.

she does not like him especially being sent away. Also, since he is the seventh, he cannot become the crown prince / emperor. He is the son of a consort not the legal wife. So, she cannot become a dowager. She is very calculative from what I read about her. She favors her older son Qi and hoping for him to become the crown prince / emperor.
