Is there going to be romance in this ?
It`s a remake of Dae Jang Geum, so definitely.

You are welcome. Sorry my reply took so long, I am very busy right now, I am starting a new job/school, so I hardly even visit mydramalist. I am not waching anything right now. Five dramas wait for me actually to finish them. Shame on me. I am not really sure what to recommend to you, but I checked your list, and I saw you have Arang and the Magistrate and Sungkyunkwan Scandal on your On Hold List. Well, I loved both of them greatly - as you can see in my profile :-D They might be a little bit slow at the beginning, mainly SS. But they are great in my opinion. SS` settings are very much like BOF. Heroine is also annoying, but it is more bearable. Also, I find these boys way better than in BOF. They were quite useless in BOF and I was not so impressed by LMH and KHJ. But bromance in SS is the best I have ever seen. :-)

Am I the only one who cannot watch this drama?? I dropped it three times because of an unbearable female lead…
No, that it completely understandable. For me, it was one of my first dramas and at that time I considered it very unique, different from what I was used to. But even I was very annoyed by Geum Jan Di. :-P Now I know better.

I would maybe add Erika Toda`s character in Nobuta wo produce. She was really sweet. Even though I am not entirely sure whether to consider her any romantic interest because the show was not really about romance. Anyway, she was in a position where she easily could have been a b*tch but she was not. Win!

How about every Lee Jun Ki drama and Gakistal or even warrior baek dong soo? Man From Nowhere and Company Man…
Wow, I wanted to write exactly same thing about Lee Jun Ki`s dramas and Gaksital. LOL. I scrolled a bit and This ^. :-)

This is the biggest tearjerker I have ever watched. I think towards the end I was crying several hours straight. I ended up dehydrated and with migraine.

I love this drama, and finally it will be aired in my country (Hungary)...i am so happy now :D:D
Heeey, neigbours :-D I envy you that your TV stations actually air Asian dramas. I had not known until I mentioned Jewel in the Palace and my friend (who is Hungarian, too) knew of what I was speaking about. :-)

I disagree about the long skirt part. I like long skirts, they can be really beautiful. Not all of them of course,…
Yes, yes, same here. Long skirts can be pretty, but those examples were just not the case. But I love long skirts on myself..... well it`s not like I can wear any others with my legs :-D

I discovered him in Nobuta wo Produce in December. And I liked the drama and Kame and Yamapi in it very much. Since then I have looked up some of their dramas. So far I watched Kame`s Tatta Hitotsu no Koi but I was not as smitten with it as many other people seem to be. I quite like Kame as an actor, but I have to honestly admit I don`t understand how they can call him beautiful in YNSH. I find it a little weird. Fortunately, the weirdness can not discourage me (and from my little experience with Japanese dramas I understand it is common trait)from watching a drama. :-)

Hello, thank you for friend request :-) I notice Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is one of your favorites dramas. I started watching it yesterday but I managed to finish just the first episode. But certainly it seems a bit bizarre :-D

Hilarious article, I love it. I would also add that dreadful knee long sweater my poor Lee Jun Ki wore in My girl. It is crime they made him wear it. And some other pieces as well. Sigh

Not only in korean dramas, in others too. I have never paid attention to such things until I watched MARS. I love that drama but I burst out laughing when I saw giant "FILA" on their jackets and elsewhere. There were many other products, but fortunately I cannot recall any other but Yamaha. (didn`t work on me, obviously, :-P ) Subtlety is something they have never heard of. It was like a hammer thumping my head: THIS IS A PRODUCT! BUY ITTTT! It was so over the top, so ridiculous and it filled even the ending credits that I forgot I was watching a drama. It looked like it skipped to a commercial.
Since then I occasionally notice some logo, but I doubt anything can ever stoop to the level of MARS in this particular aspect.
