Oh, thank you that you accepted. I saw Yoo Seung Ho in your profile and it just made my mood so much better. He is my current sweetheart. I love the pictures of him you put there. Is that from Missing you?
Does he drink from the well at the end so that he forgets the pain in hell? And he's confident that be they'll…
I think (or more I want to believe) he did not forget. Someting about his knowing and little mischievious smile in the end just seemed like he knows it all. He merely teased her. Because Jade Emperor complained how Eun Oh wanted to go back to earth as human. I think it was on purpose, to meet Arang in another life (like he had said earlier in his goodbye monologue by the river), so he had to be aware of hej in the first place. At least, I want to interpret it this way.
Well, this is funny. Because number one on my list is the character from Ojakkyo Brothers played by exactly same actress who is your number one irritating character. She played mother there as well and was insufferable. I wanted to smash my poor screen when I saw her. shudder... But kudos to the actress Park Joon Geum who is willing and capable playing such roles. Someone has to do it and she does it completely right
I am shocked that I found out this only now. But just from the description that is here now: cute young (disobedient) man and young terminally ill woman - one can deduce. Some melodrama with subject of either love or friendship. Oh, I hate sad stories. Ugh. Pity. Pity. Pity. But probably I will watch anyway because I love him so. I just wish he was in some more original story than doomed relationship... (I hope I am wrong though)
Will someone please tell me if the ending of this show is worth it?
Sadly no. At least for me. I was really disappointed. But I after I finished the drama I looked up some information about it and found an alternative ending that was considered, I found it better so I just imagined it ended like that (however, I have already forgot what it was. Oops...) But apart from ending there is a lot of great stuff. I watched it more than year ago and I still remember some great characters and interactions. Especially between Damduk and Sujini. Those parts were really lovable. Oh, and it is visual feast :-)
Do I have to watch Painted Skin to undertand everything, or does this movie tell another story?
No, you don`t, because the story is completely independent just at the begining there is a little nod to what happened previously. But it is an interesting comparison to the first movie: characters, motives, what changed and what did not.

Yes, I am practically alone here who watches asian dramas, although not very many. People around just can`t understand how such a drama can be addictive and how I can fall sooo much in love with characters, story and environment in general. LOL

Oh, so you are from Netherlands. My very good friend just returned from there after spending a year in Amsterdam working in a certain company. She told me many lovely things about Amsterdam, and life and people there. She even started to study Dutch and used to show me examples of what she learnt. It sounds nice :-)And she was telling me about this dessert - vla (I hope I got it right) and how good it was and how to describe it the best way LOL
My maternal language is Slovak and its grammar is mighty complicated, too. And at high school I had French as language and some subjects were also in French and taught according to French curriculum (like biology and chemistry). That`s why there was a bit troble for entrance exams to university. But I have already forgotten almost everything I knew from French. English is much easier for me :-)
