Next ep won't be a happy one. :( The reveal, then breakup for sure.

Lol! But where First is concerned he is already way deep in love and can't extricate himself. Sprite only needs to flirt and make sexy eyes at him and he is lost again. That's what blind love does I guess. Poor First!

Agree that the rooftop scene was a beautiful moment and would have been the perfect setting for Sprite to confess. The way First looked at Sprite with so much love in his eyes and so much vulnerability he would have forgiven Sprite for anything at that point. Sprite should have confessed there and then. As for Sprite not answering directly when First asks if he likes him, that's Sprite for you (and the bad writing). Sprite's the master of diverting such conversations away. Instead of saying "I like you back" which would be succinct, he goes "oh i want you to focus on the person in front of you. Because he is the real ME etc etc." True master of bs talk is our Sprite lol!

Yeah. It's absolute cruelty. To mess with someone emotionally and pyschologically like that. Even if thick Sprite doesn't mean it. In real life treating someone like that can cause depression or worse.

I am still seething inside hours after finishing the episode lol! If the show still has 6 - 7 eps to go then maybe there is a reasonable time for First to get over the lies (post-REVEAL), the hurt and THEN fall in love afresh (this time with the real Sprite). And to let go of the hurt caused by real Zee. Because at this point Zee is never going to change or apologize to First (ever) so First has to be the one to forgive and move on. Logically this should take time. As in a few episodes.

This series and the theme have a lot of potential to be really good. And with such a rare chemistry from the lead actors Frame and Ryan the series creator would have had a masterpiece BL series in their hands. But these pluses are squandered by the poor writing and direction.

Next ep will be as you put it "cursed" and will be brutal where First is concerned. I love First so much and hate seeing him get hurt more and more. Next week he will see Real Zee again be lovey dovey with Salmon. Sprite is causing First so much psychological and emotional pain. I love Sprite but hate what he is doing to First. His actions and motivations just don't make sense anymore.

As for the series "For Him" I haven't started this one but have seen the trailer. I am not fond of the lead actors' looks and was 50:50 on whether to start it. Since it suffers the same nonsense as "Twins" like you said, I am gonna skip it.

Ok joining the rant wagon. Here goes:

This has to be most disappointing episode for me in terms of the writing and direction. The first few minutes were absolute cringefest. The volleyball match was so lazily directed and ended up being laughable. The after games party? Even worse. Every character behaved weird and their line deliveries were so stilted. The script is to blame. And Sam has to be the worst actor in my books.

Joining other commentors who hate that Sprite does not tell First the truth before sleeping with him. I couldn't enjoy the love scene at all coz was all burning up (angry) inside.

We only have precious 2 episodes left yet the series choose to drag out the REVEAL. This episode should have (but did not) address:
1. Zee's poisoning and MIA during the match.
2. Koh's role in item 1 above.
3. The necklace with the S initial that Sprite bought First. What has happened to it? Did First even take it home? If yes how come he doesn't question what the S means?

I love Sprite but gosh is he thick or what? Now he wants to play detective on what Tom's up to. Doesn't he know he's got bigger issues to handle like First being mad at him and the possibility of losing him altogether? For sure next ep First will break up with him. Whatever happens it is lose-lose for First. When he's "with" Sprite he gets the hot and cold treatment (which hurts him and confuses him). When they break up as for sure they will, again First will be the one getting hurt more (and this time worse coz he's being lied to and yes f----ed by an almost stranger).

I only love one thing about this ep. The date. Which was cute. With the cuddling in the boat and the electric shock they felt when touching each other's hands. And First's laugh and big happy smiles. That's the best scene for me.

I have the exact same thoughts. This is THE one big issue that has bothered me right from the start. That First could be ACTUALLY in love with Real Zee, has secretly been even before Sprite's appearance. First obviously still has deep unresolved Zee issues from their childhood days that till today he can't seem to get pass. We see him in the bathroom relieving the poor ways Zee had treated him in the past. There is always the possibility that one can be in love with the EVIL twin (you know the reasoning that goes: "yeah he's evil and treats me like shit but so what I love him anyway?. So if the good twin shows up doesn't mean I will fall in love with him just coz he looks like the evil twin and treats me good. I want the love of the EVIL twin. Period").

This show failed big time in addressing this possibility and has now dragged the whole sad unresolved F/Z/S to the penultimate episode. I love all First/Sprite moments but am so so disappointed with the writing and direction esp in this episode.

Wow NC scenes now that's heavy lol! I suppose the xes scenes in the first ep are 'mild' compared to the subsequent epis. Guess the show must air very very late evening for it to make it to network TV or is it only available on cable or for streaming in Thailand? I like plenty of skinship as much as the next BL fan but only ask for some semblance of a plot please and heavy doses of romance 😍

Btw I read another poster's comment highlighting that Zoey is demisexual. Now what is that. 🤔I am also interested to know what are the other "...sexual" orientations out there for erm educational insights lol. Like pansexual? I only know the meanings of LGBTQ and asexual. 😄

Wow two weeks hiatus no wonder fans on this board are ranting lol! I expect there would be more complaints on the watered down scenes after next ep but if the plot picks up maybe everyone will be ok with it 😉 I'll put this series back in my to watch list. Yes so hot! 🔥My fave scene so far and have rewatched it countless times! In that scene First and Sprite convey with their eyes, caresses and kisses their attraction and desire for each other. Sprite kisses like a dream and First's eyes full of lost desire are just so so 🔥😍!!

Can't wait for Friday's new episode! I now watch this show for First and First+Sprite scenes which I can't get enough of! I just ❤️ First so much! He is luminously beautiful!

Other than The Sign, Last Twilight and Twins (my fav!!!) there seems to be a dearth of good BLs airing right now. Cherry Magic requires VPN over Viu (which I am using) but each mini ep has tons of ads to sit through (even though I have a paid Viu subscription). :(

I like skinship in BLs but I like romance even more (romance + skinship = the best!!). I hope Playboyy will have at least have some romance and does not turn out like "Only Friends" which disappointedly is filled with characters who are all revealed to be selfish and shallow in the end. Hated the threesome act (you know which scene...)

On Playboyy's next ep, yess I have been reading the comments here where fans are complaining about the one week hiatus :D I don't mind spoilers for this show so will def check out the comments after the next ep and enjoy the chaos as you put it lol!

Lol on the comment that Sprite's not very bright! Yes it would be great if First discovers the switch and confronts Sprite about it since Sprite still hasn't made any plans on telling First. I hope things are cleared up in the next ep (ep 10 already out of 12!!). For First's sake. Hate to see him being sad and heartbroken. Right now Sprite is satisfied getting 3 days a week with First. He doesn't think about how First feels about not getting Sprite for the rest of the week (4 days! and having to spend them with Real Zee the mood killer. Who could hurt First emotionally too!).

Oh any idea where Sprite has been sleeping the "last two days"? He couldn't be sleeping at home since Real Zee has his room? Does getting 3 days a week with First means for the remaining four days Sprite can't even sleep in his dorm? And how come Sprite doesn't at least text First on his whereabouts on those days he is MIA? I love Sprite but what could he be thinking? Doesn't he know that First would be worried and possibly mad? More plot holes? smh

You're right that Zee doesn't seem interested in volleyball. Looks like he was pushed into the sports by his mom. In the last ep when he gets to stay with his dad and in Sprite's room and allowed to pretend to be Sprite he seems almost happy because he can taste freedom for the first time (away from his mom and her pressures). And yes he really likes Salmon (though I find her a little too mature looking for Zee). Next ep i think is gonna be exciting. I expect a lot will happen and I hope they include the reveal. :)

I too am frustrated by Sprite's continued non confession to First. But perhaps he is hesitating because it is not only his secret to reveal. It will affect a lot of other people too if the secret gets out (like Zee's place in the volleyball team, his tryout for the Nationals, their parents, Salmon). And by now with things progressing in his relationship with First the window for confession seems to be closing ever faster and Sprite might feel worried about making First angry if he confesses that he has been lying to everyone about the switch including First. He can't take the chance of losing First. Also mistakes and awful decisions can be made by someone young experiencing first love.
