I was annoyed too for the same reasons. Btw any idea if the webtoon that the series is based on has kiss scenes? Just wondering coz I loved the Semantic Error webtoon (which has graphic love scenes) and although the adapted drama series toned down the love scenes the show is still highly romantic and at least we got real kisses from the actors.

Yeah... and no final kiss in that last scene after the ILY confession (the kiss was gonna happen but was interrupted in the most cliche fashion). I rated the show a 6 too.

Thanks for this. Then I might give the series another shot. :) Coz I just started watching this yesterday but couldn't finish the first episode and have dropped it. Seems all style but lacking in substance? But I know I shouldn't judge by the first episode alone. And I do like the lead character Zouey. What a cutie. I do appreciate skinship in a BL but I thought ep 1 has far too many m**bation and xes scenes that seem gratituous. And I don't like the art class model the one who seduces Zouey coz I think he seems shallow and is undoubtably a playboy (so if I do continue the series I hope he is not Zouey's designated love interest).

That's why First feeling hurt gives Sprite the cold shoulder when they meet next. And this causes Sprite to be confused so he keeps asking First why he is mad at him.

Well they are identical twins? In tv shows characters who are identical twins whom you can't tell apart is a popular trope. Viewers could only tell who's who from the characters' distinct personalities and mannerisms. Otherwise it would be no fun and prob no story either lol.

You shouldn't get roasted lol coz beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. For me Ryan is very very good looking. A commentor said he looks like "any other white guy" which I don't agree. First of all Ryan is of mixed race and he looks mixed race not white white. And If Ryan walks down the street of any city in the world he is GUARANTEED to be a head turner. I would say Ryan is a heartthrob.

As for Frame he is like the hot boy next door. He has the sweetest heart melting smile (which First can attest to lol!), the finest eyes (and those to die for eyelashes!) and such great physique. I like the opposites attract type of BLs so First and Sprite looking so different works for me. And yes to me they balance each other out with their own attractiveness. I do not like shows where the romantic male leads look the same some even resemble twins whom you can't tell apart lol!

Agree on Zee's enemies. Thinking back Koh and Tom are certainly more devious. They are two faced and even resort to poisoning to get what they want.

For me Frame and Ryan are amazing actors! As for the pacing, script or lines they have no control over them. I think they did their best with the materials given. And I would so love to see them do another BL series as a couple!

By now I kinda accept the many plot holes lol and only watch each episode for scenes of the main couple coz I just can't get enough of First and Sprite!

But one of the things that still irks me is not knowing if the volleyball and jujitsu teams are in the same Uni. And how come the boys don't seem to attend academic classes? Or have to do homework? What faculty are they in? Why do the show creators leave these info out? I noticed this show has limited shooting locations too (is it the budget?). Let's see: volleyball court, the couch hangout area, jujitsu training room, a staircase or two, Sprite's room, F/S bedroom, cafetaria, a cafe for Sam/Tan moments and some hospital scenes for the earlier episodes. I think if not for the great chemistry (and eye candy) of First and Sprite this show would not have attracted a high viewers base.

I think that Sprite's enemies detected the switch only because of their laser sharp focus on seeking vengeance against Sprite like it's their life mission. And it so happens that right after they have just seen Real Zee (who they think is Sprite) their friend spots another Sprite (Real Sprite) at the mall. So they put 2 and 2 together and get "twins effect" since there can be no other plausible explanation.

I hope so too! I really want their first love scene to happen only after First learns the truth about Sprite. That would make their love scene perfect! And poignant! and with no regrets after! 😊

I think next ep in the love scene we will see First wearing the necklace Sprite buys him. Which has the initial "S" lol! Sprite's got some explaining to do. 😄

What an intense and riveting episode! So many things happened but the switch is not yet cleared up and if anything gets even more muddled. And a little disappointed that the YT-previewed love scene between First and Sprite will only be in the next ep. But in this ep fans did get a loving and sweet kiss scene between the main couple which is satisfying too!

One thing I am very glad of is that Real Zee does not lead First on or pretends to be Sprite in his scenes with First. Every time First gets the cold shoulder it’s from Real Zee, never Sprite. This means that there will not be a First/Real Zee “romantic” moment coz I would hate to see them kiss.

I have read other fans’ comments on whether it was Zee or Sprite who showed up at the volleyball game in the end. I strongly believe it was Sprite. For a few reasons. Firstly Sprite bursting into the scene like that, smiling that cute goofy Sprite smile (trademark registered) and clumsily adjusting his volleyball uninform, that’s Sprite all the way. It can’t be Zee coz Zee would never bother to change his personality, attitude or even smile for anyone. Also Sprite always has parted bangs, Zee’s are like a closed curtain. I think what happened is:
1. The jujitsu competition starts earlier than the volleyball match, so Sprite attends the former first. Real Zee stands in for Sprite at the volleyball court during the beginning when the match hasn’t started yet. Sprite always meant to be the one competing in the volleyball match. That’s why he trained so hard. And Zee has just recovered and although he has trained a bit but is no capacity to play yet especially for such an important game.
2. Real Zee drinks the spiked water. We don’t see him after that. He may have passed out somewhere. Salmon calls him and maybe she calls Sprite too but does not get an answer from either of them.
3. Sprite finishes his jujitsu game and rushes over to the court. I think he will play an outstanding game and lead the team to a win. To drive home the “hard work pays off" message. And this ep made me realize that the one true lead character in this series is Sprite, not Zee. Sprite gets more scenes, Sprite and First is the main couple, Sprite is in both sports (volleyball and jujitsu).

One thing I hate is the 3 days a week arrangement between Sprite and Real Zee resulting in confusion and heartbreak for First (the real casualty). Preview for next ep shows First again seeing Real Zee and Salmon close together which leaves him insecure and heartbroken again.

I have one question tho - for “the last two days” when Sprite is not in his shared room with First, where did he sleep? Coz Real Zee has Sprite’s room at his dad’s house.

I have not started this. But reading the comments, what with all the numerous xes scene and genres and multiple couples in the show, is there a LOVE story within? True poignant love? Or the show's not strong on romance?

Ooo thanks so much for this. <3 This will be such a sweet scene can't wait! This means that First is still feeling insecure on whether Sprite likes him. But truly for this viewer, First is soooo... fine looking and perfect in every way irl there is really no reason for him to feel insecure. He doesn't realize just what a beauty he is inside and out. <3 his character so much! And Ryan plays him so beautifully.

I don't know Thai. But in the preview, First uses the words "ching ching" a couple of times. I think the words mean "actually"? So First could be pressing for Sprite to come clean.. to tell him who he actually (really) is or what the situation is truly about. Sprite looked about ready to cry. I just love this couple so much and am so looking forward to Friday's episode!

I missed this too. But I would love it if the plot goes in this direction - that First already knows that the "Zee" he has been bonding with is actually Sprite. Then there will be less angst and hurt? Coz he already accepts Sprite for himself? Maybe First is only waiting for Sprite to be ready to tell him the truth. I hope, really hope this will happen in ep 9. Confession, acceptance and then the <3 scene as we see in the preview. F/S just got together and I really don't want them to break up or have further misunderstandings.
