I have not started the first episode yet but was intrigued by the storyline (classic lakorn) and of course anything with Film will interest me. :)
But if the new adaptation is going to give us this depressing ending, then I am not sure if I want to start it. And why does Film accept this type of role. 😭
Coz then this show would not have a ML but a VILLAIN instead. And where is the pay off from investing so many hours in a drama. There is no SML to make up for any HEA. None. All 4 characters end up suffering in different ways. Fin.

Now Ryan. Dear Ryan. Ryan is on a whole other level for me in terms of obsession. You're right that there's just something special about him. On his social media he seems very outgoing and not at all like his character on Twins. Which means that when he plays First, he understood the character well and what was needed for the role and he succeeded in becoming First whose character is shy, stoic, brave, kind, lonely, vulnerable so he hurts easily, but PASSIONATE and always always a GIVER when it comes to ❤️.
Physically of course First is 100% Ryan meaning hot as 🔥🔥🔥lol!

Hello. Thanks for responding to my post. I understand your pov. But just wondering if the source material is canon? Is it based on a novel? Can the characters' arc be changed? I would love a happy ending to this show. If Film's character doesn't commit wilful murder and he repents and somehow redeems himself say by saving the eldest sister. I don't know... maybe a happy ending might work?

Well it didn't really came out of nowhere.
Once Sprite appears on the scene as "FakeZee", his bubbly spirits, abundant cuteness and constant flirting with First over time captured and melted First's heart. First is the type of guy who keeps his feelings close to his chest but all that attention from Sprite is not lost on him. He only lets out his feelings to Sprite (in that first kiss episode) when he couldn't stand his JEALOUSY anymore (re: Salmon and re: when Sprite starts being all buddy buddy with the rest of his team mates). And that happened only in episode 7 after Sprite and First have built a connection and First we can tell by then already cannot do without having Sprite around.
The editing of the show could of course be better as many have commented here :(

I think that would be the episode where First injured his foot. In their room Sprite helped to ice it leading to some nice feels between the two lol! Sprite then told First he has something to do first and will be back later that night. He also promised to buy some gel/medicine for First. Both promises were however broken, hurting First very much. Sprite has a good reason actually coz he had to stay over at his dad's place that night (his dad insisted and he couldn't refuse). So no Sprite and no meds for First who waited the entire night for Sprite to return. This is the first instance where he hurts First like that if I recall correctly.
Truth is Sprite didn't mean to hurt First. He was anxious and he beat himself up over it. And tried to make up for it the next day (with the meds in hand). But First still felt hurt and he showed it. Although Sprite couldn't tell First the truth without revealing the secret, I was angry at Sprite for breaking his promise.
In the medal's scene, again I was disapointed that almost the same thing happened. If Sprite had explained to First why he gave the medal to Thun (another guy!) despite promising to give it to First, I would let it go because First is a kind person and he would understand. But things were left unexplained. Again First has to be the one to swallow all disapointment and accept the situation. Basically forgive Sprite. Again.

Sprite is impulsive. But he doesn't do it to hurt anyone. On the contrary. It's because he cares. His actions are deemed careless though. In taking care of one person's feelings, he could end up hurting another in the process.
I hope First understands this character of Sprite and not be hurt again because of future misunderstandings. Because that is just Sprite being Sprite. Like when Sprite promised to bring him medicine in an earlier episode where First got injured (and then didn't because he had to stay over at his dad's place although he was anxious about not getting back to First and was beating himself up over it).
