tbh you’ve seen all articles and tweets that prove why it is propaganda and you still choose to think that this is right so nothing i or anyone else can say can change your mind. you’ve made up your mind and you’ve refused to listen to the people who are genuinely hurt and shocked by the harmful representation. i can send you articles to prove my point but i can’t force you to feel empathy and that’s what you require to know why this is wrong.

ah yes this drama is romanticizing people who committed atrocities in the past and serves as a reminder to koreans of the trauma that will continue to exist for many more years to come but daredaniel’s viewing experience shouldn’t be compromised because of that. how empathetic!!

lmaooo this issue is bigger than jisoo. don't you get it? SK people don't care about a kpop idol and her debut drama. what they care about is right wing propaganda being spread and the distortion of their history- both of which are bigger than any individual person. i'm sure no one would've said a word if your idol was in something unproblematic!

this drama's getting a lot of heat and after going through what korean people have to say, i get it. i just think it's not our place to blame or mock koreans for standing up against their history being misrepresented especially because most international fans do not even know what happened back then and might just take what is shown in the drama as the real deal so i totally understand how this show is problematic. i hope they make some changes because it really is very disrespectful to the victims and their families....

also y'all shouldn't put all the blame on jisoo. yes, she chose the script but she's not the only actor on the show. criticize everyone equally or don't criticize them at all.

if you want to watch a more accurate and RESPECTFUL portrayal of what went down in korea back then, you should watch youth of may.

again, if they change things and make it right, it would be better for the korean general public and also everyone else involved in the project.

finally completed it after putting it on hold several times! tempted is just okay. i know this is supposed to be like the movie 'cruel intentions' because both are based on the same novel and comparing it to the movie, this drama is dry af. sihyeon is supposed to be this charismatic and seductive guy but everything that comes out of his mouth is either dumb or boring. admittedly, lee do hwan did the best with what script he got but sihyeon is so....... boring.

suji is easily the best part of this show.... she's at least interesting to watch. everyone in the comments is talking about how suji is a very bad person while sihyeon is a good person which is debatable. yes, suji proposed the bet but it was sihyeon who actually decided to go with it! he was the one who did everything in his power to hurt taehee. i'm not saying suji is a good person because she's not but at least she's not super mega boring like taehee and sihyeon.

and ofc taehee is boring. watching taehee is like watching paint dry on a wall. the acting is....... questionable. she has no personality whatsoever. she's just sihyeon's love interest and i'm just here like........ why would anyone choose taehee over suji? it does not make any sense.

started this show cause of the 'hot psychopath edits of that one guy' and ended up actually liking it. it's messy and a lil campy but i think that's what makes it fun to watch.

personally, i loved the fact that it was 'rushed'. they went straight to the real stuff without the boring parts explaining how and why he wants to avenge his twin brother cause duh!

also offgun are just so good here. much better than, theory of love.

as an atheist, some of the things the people said in the show made me laugh and then i realized people around me say unhinged shit like that all the time and if that's what the show was trying to do.... then well they understood the assignment.

is this really as bad as everyone's saying? cause the initial comments on mdl about squid game were negative as well but it turned out be a great show soo can anyone tell me if it's really that bad? (for someone who liked sweet home, squid game, extracurricular, my name).

your average thriller. a little dumb at times but still enjoyable

okay i clicked on it because i was bored and it turned out to be so freaking good! not a dull moment in the entire movie. this is what thrillers should be like. jeon jong seo was amazing in burning and she is even better in this movie!
