I was thinking perhaps the shoe that XS got it back for JH did a have significant meaning...
In the first episode, JH left that shoe behind because it's dirty. And when she's grieving over the death of the father, there's a scene she removed her shoe and threw away. Then, she broke her shoe's heel while begging for help to save Free Unicorn. She sold all her favourite shoes to buy up TengYue and move to sneakers and never wear heels. The only time she did during the 100th anniversary celebration, she heard the news of Teng Yue sales and got kicked out. All these illustrated that she was forced from a high and above shielded environment to a down and lower grounded reality... When XS gave the shoe back to her, it symbolises that JH could once again stand tall and firm.
I have to start with the final scene!!!! Kid all grown up π₯Ή XS wearing the shoes she made for him whereas she…
Me too... I thought their kisses were real and almost jumped with joy... π€¦ββοΈ. And XS held on to his tears bravely and shed it only after she passed him... so heart breaking π. Did you realise XS actually mouthed the word "Ai ni" meaning love you to her?
I'm going to need my own milk tea with double the sugar to appease my feelings. π What a wonderful wrap up.…

Reaching the end of the drama, I must compliment the acting skills of both main leads.
Elaine Zhong's acting skills is superb here. She brought the energetic and crazy JH to life. I couldn't tell she's the same person portraying the police officer in the drama Imperfect Victim. I'm looking forward to her next drama which she acted as a depressed ballerina that had her legs amputated.
As for Gong Jun, his portrayal as Xu Si is perfect. I totally couldn't associate him with Han Ye, Wen Kexing and Gong Jun himself... as if these people are totally different person!! And his speech and pronunciation had improved so much that I could understand every single word from him without reading the sub. Looking forward to his Dongfang YueChu.
I want to make some edits for XS-JH to celebrate tomorrow's ending...Who cares if people hate our ML, as long…
Even though I may not agree personally in all the things XS did, I like his character. Notice XS never lost his temper or shouted unprofessionally. That's a super plus point for me. Just a thought that his childhood trauma of witnessing his father's dead in a fire due to old production equipment malfunction was probably why he never believed in old and traditional factory. He mentioned that he took finance was to be able to help and seek finance for factory to be modernised. He needed "to put off the fire" that he couldn't do back then when he's a child. He thought the same for TengYue and probably feared JH would "die" in the fire like his father.
Aahh... looks like XS would sacrifice his career for TengYue based on JH's answer... π That airplane sign on the schedule signify XS would leave the country after resigning?
I have a meticulous question regarding how Gong Jun acted on his driving scene. Why he shook his hands too much…
Bts show all driving scenes if the vehicle is moving are shot on a lorry, including the scene of JH and GJ on her electric bike. GJ was just pretending to move his steering while the lorry moved.
are we seriously not getting a express package for the remaining eps? π
Iqiyi can't put up as this drama is also screening in Dragon TV at the same time. It wouldn't be fair for Dragon TV and the advertisers there as the express package would take away their tv audiences.
I wanted to say so so sooo many things after all of this yet I don't know what to say.Am so much mentally involved…
Ya, I agree XS and JH needed this break up for them to grow and deepen their relationship if they ever get back together. XS thought JH would love him enough to give up everything for him and expect her to trust him in everything he's doing without communicating properly. That's arrogance, over confidence and lack of respect coming from him. JH needed to understand how to compromise and trust him enough to work things out together instead of lashing out without thinking properly!! Both needed to cool off, reexamine where it went wrong and find the balancing points if they're to get back together.
This drama has amazing cinematography. Almost like watching a movie. I can tell for sure that this is not a lowbudget…
I can see the drama team especially the director and producer put in a lot of effort in it. It's the best cinematographic chinese drama I've ever seen so far. Not to mention the OSTs as well... They've the budget to spend on this area instead of paying very high salary to the main casts. I remember GongJun and Elaine Zhong wasn't so well-known yet when they both decided to take up these roles, therefore their fees wasn't high.
Aaah... that's the power of love. π
