JH only bought TengYue brand and factory but not the land. The land was bidded off and Baoxing bought it over. Teng Yue rented the land in earlier episode frm Baoxing to operate for a year until the acquisition of other surrounding land was completed. Teng Yue would still need to move out irrespective whether Aneda bought Teng Yue or not. XzY might thought he also bought up the land and Teng Yue no need to move.

I also thought he bought up all the shares in Teng Yue. I'm not surprised that Aneda might have called off the merger with Teng Yue after JH's blunder during the live stream. Boaxing probably decided to dispose the balance of the shares if the merger was called off as it's no longer necessary to keep this portfolio as long as they had achieved the return of their investment in Teng Yue ie. the sale of the land to Yuechang Logistics.
As much as I wanted to with JH, I find she's gotten too over personal that she hadn't been able to think straight. Shouting and slapping on live streaming would have destroyed the brand's reputation that she had poured out blood and sweat to it! If she felt betrayed... I thought she had it worse in the earlier episodes!? I mean there're 101 ways to overcome the sales, have a good negotiation with Baoxing and buy over their shares; or even profited her shares frm the sales to Aneda and then merge with another company to buy back Teng Yue. A slap to the screenwriter for making JH too dramatic, not smart and unprofessional!! 😖
P/S: The Chinese netizens are ranting out their frustration on this slapping plot saying it's totally unnecessary and wiped off the past 32 episodes of the goodness in JH's journey as a great entrepreneur! Some suggested that she should honey talked to XS to call off the sales 😂.

Well said... Anyway, up to the latest episode, I haven't seen XS forcing JH to make any decision to the sales. I'm sure he's not telling her yet for a reason... my guess is he's buying time for a alternate solution. XS, being an investor would have a foresight of such thing would happen. It's mentioned in other episode that his philosophy is to make sure everyone benefits in any decision/ investment he made. I presumed he's thinking hard, not much of how to break the news to JH but getting all parties to compromise in his plan.

Most Douban reviewers in China are giving 4-5stars (max 5 stars). I'm not surprised if the rating will be above 8.5. In comparison, the latest drama of Bai Lu and Dylan Wang of Only Love only rated at. 4.8. GJ's hit drama Word of Honor scored at 8.6. I guess this business romance genre may not be everyone's cup of tea but most who follows it agree it's a high quality drama.

I agree... Teng Yue has been very traditional in their management and production ways, Would JH be willing to compromise that and might even need to lay off the older workers is another question. Yup... let's see.
