What do yall think about the mother's case the gaming company?
As far as I am concerned, the gaming company has no fault in this issue. I don't see how it's possible to determine causality between his gaming addiction and his mental illness and consequent suicide. I'm glad that the drama acknowledged that and is only using it as an angle to find out more about Hui Quan, though I'm not sure how that helps more than them just creating an account on the platform.

The earlier episodes had a voice problem. Like in the middle of the speech, one goes lowkey to offkey than normal.…
Chinese dramas have to go through approval before they can air, and the official agency might provide "suggestions" to the plot or the dialogues. When you hear parts which sound out of place, it's because they changed the lines and actors have to redub themselves. Their voices sound different because of the difference in recording equipment.

Title Prosecution Elite Spoiler
My thoughts so far:

The drama is alright. I've used this word many times because I don't think it's exciting nor do I think it's objectively bad. There are definitely moments like the court and mediation scenes which are very watchable, but outside of those parts it can be boring. It's very much an educational drama like how it was publicised, but as such there is a lot of explanation and not enough real action.

I honestly think the Zhang Xiao Bei thread that all the current cases are converging on is a dull one. His sideplot is very unpolished (no fault of the actor though). The part where the husband plotted to kill his wife was also boring till the court scene appeared. This one was because the actor was not a compelling villain and seemed so withdrawn thoughout the whole story. In other words, most of the investigative aspects and build up were not well executed.

But the back and forth between the prosecution and defense was good. The cross examination of the witness was good. The trailer where she and her friend argued about the ownership of the victim's game account was also good. They really need more of these.

I'll continue to watch a bit more because I can see scenes in the ending theme that interest me. When I drop/finish I'll post a full review.

This section is to share your personal view on the drama. MY OPINION. I don't impose anyone to agree with me,…
... I watched all 4 released episodes and so far they haven't talked about suppression of privacy. You can argue that the debate between the female lead and her admirer hints at that, but it was a debate.

Dilreba looks very smart and professional here with her uniform😍
Her dialogue delivery is fantastic when she doesn't try too hard. I fully agree with you that her regular dubber sucks. For someone who has good basics, she should really try to use her own voice as much as possible because that's one of the major criticisms she gets from her antis. I always give her the benefit of the doubt because I know she is good, but she's not helping herself. She can totally fix that.

The first two episodes were alright, but they inserted a pretty long monologue in the build up, which I thought was poor execution. Nothing to take away from the drama, unless you just don't like the subject. I actually don't mind it. Dilraba is good. She always gets a lot more criticisms than she deserves but I don't think there's any reason to put her down in this. Even if the show is not popular fare, this shows that she has proper range.

Didn’t know about Japan being the same… Interesting! But then again if I recall correctly…. Crime rates…
Honestly, if you're trying to argue semantics then obviously there is no point. My argument still stands whether it's the entire justice system or just the legal process.

I quote:

And of course China's Procuratorate, like Japan's approach to the law is worse than "guilty until proven innocent" - it is pretty much "guilty as charged".

I was not referring to the drama itself. If you are specifically referring to a lack of suspense in court proceedings affecting the complexity and level of engagement of the drama, then I take back my words. Though the way the conversation was heading, I thought there was something implied there.

That is some very flawed logic. The rate of conviction does not necessarily imply anything about the effectiveness of a country's justice system. In some countries, prosecution do not charge unless they have an airtight case, which is why conviction rates are high. Also, it's perfectly normal to have lower conviction rates in places where sentencing is dependent on public jurors. There are so many variables that impact conviction rates, but you're jumping to the conclusion that high is bad for no reason at all. The US is a terrible example too. Why would you even regard her as the holy grail?

The latest trailer was a lot better than the first one. That said, this sort of material doesn't really appeal to the international community.

I'm curious about the target audience of this drama, because for someone who watched this from the start to the end, there's no reason to think of this as romance focused. Imo, if you stuck with it and like it, you're likely in for the female lead and the Tang officials. Personally, the first 15 episodes were the highlight so I don't get the comments about love lines. Obviously, I can't remember them well but I believe they were developed very late. So if you actually manage to catch those parts, that means that you should be interested in the non-romantic scenes, unless you were really idle enough to get through 8-10 hours of the main plot just to wait for romance to happen.

Hi can anyone tell me why this year reba drama kind of slow in releasing it? And how come her upcoming drama are…
There are censorship issues with Prosecution Elite so they need to re-edit the content. It was expected to be released last October (then this March) and with the delay there is a larger perceived gap between her projects. For new dramas, she might just be more cautious with her choices. She was also rumoured to join a set last year but it was delayed due to pandemic controls. Just a series of unfortunate coincidences.

What's with the stream of upcoming dramas that she's not even linked to? Lol.

is it strongest rumor that Zhu Ya Wen male lead?
I do not believe Zhu was ever linked to the project. At the moment the most reliable rumour is that Dilraba will headline, there is nothing on the male lead or supporting cast.

Word is that filming for Female Police Captain will start this month.

Or maybe February after Chinese New Year.

It's unfortunate, because I really liked the novel. But between Kris Wu's scandal and the Japanese style costumes, I think a total reboot might be needed for this project to see daylight again.

All 3 dramas sound solid work & promising to prove her versatility more. Hope she takes all if they're worth it!…
Maybe slice of life + romance/marriage + workplace. I'm not too sure, but it's nothing like what she's done before.

Rumor that investors for female police captain have withdrawn their funds so it postponed.
I'm only quoting those with a track record of verified leaks. Not all rumours are equal.
