TanJianci and JCT Studio are taking legal action against several bloggers for defamation and spreading fake rumors. My guess is that this is tied to all the fake news about favoritism that has been circulating recently. One of the accounts listed is a big TSJ fan.

His lawyers issued a cease and desist statement: https://m.weibo.cn/status/5062968429773081?jumpfrom=weibocom

Beijing Tao'an Law Firm, on behalf of Beijing Tan Jianci Cultural Media Studio, has appointed lawyers Liu Fang and Lei Lei to address the matter of certain online users infringing upon Mr. Tan Jianci's legal rights. We solemnly state the following:

1. Relevant online users are requested to immediately delete the infringing statements about Mr. Tan Jianci and prevent such infringing behavior from recurring.

2. If the relevant online users continue to engage in infringing behavior, our lawyers will continue to preserve evidence and, based on the client's further instructions, take all legal measures, including but not limited to filing civil lawsuits, to resolutely pursue the legal responsibility of the relevant parties and protect Mr. Tan Jianci's legal rights from being violated.

This story is so painful to watch. Well executed on so many levels. That said, one of the core pieces of the story,…
WOW...you summed up alot of my sentiments about the XY and her family. I also didn't sympathize with thier woes about conquering the world. XY has such a colonist mentality. Because if that, I also didn't care that they had all these trauma, it was self inflicted due to thier amintion for power, an XY case her pride and stubbornness.

Is the show good? Cuz the actors seem ok but idk abt the plot....
Basic plot, good characters except one (but I'm biased). Good film composition and cinematography in season one, season two lacked quite a bit. Great acting with a few exceptions.

Honestly the censorship update is not sudden. Some people have pointed out that the 40 ep max limit was in 2020.…
Ahh...so TTEOTM followed a normal Xinxia broadcast timeline. No wonder the CGI, editing and pacing was far better than LYF.

The only thing LYF had over TTEOTM was XL and the film composition.

Technically, TTEOTM was a better drama. Story-wise LYF (only in the first half) had a strong start.

I think if LYF has TTEOTM'd budget, it could been better.

Agreed. Though its a 'fantasy novel', TongHua woven each character, via taking traits from real life. She not…

Did you see this? I know it may be old facts for Jianci's fans. Anyway let the others see his dedication. https://x.com/tlmssusu/status/1816923489917698378?t=TrOsMXQwAhr55jBN6c0iAw&s=19

Sometimes an actor can connect with fan club accounts through their team to address fandom behavior. At the beginning of LYF2, the JCT fan club was dealing with a lot of bullying, which escalated to the point where some major accounts were temporarily suspended on Weibo. Shortly after that, the fan club shifted focus to promoting XL. The fandom began creating and sharing art across major platforms. The goal was to redirect the energy from negativity to positivity. Fan art, reviews, writings, and comments were being reshared across platforms. As a communications professional, I found this to be a smart strategy. It generated a lot of hype for the character and, combined with Tan Jianci's own marketing efforts, was a success. I hope other actors and actresses adopt Tan’s approach for their dramas.

Tan XTH's fans are very supportive. I recently saw a paid ad by fans in a mall in Thailand. When Tan was in Milan, fans also funded a lot of welcome ads for him.

Wow! Self-congratulatory much? That's quite a sweeping generalization. It's impressive how you've managed to turn…
Lol... Kindness is not exclusive to Jing only. And for the record, this post wasn't meant as a mock to Jing or any of his fans.

My posts (previous and future) about Jing as a character have mainly stayed within the context of the novel and drama, filtered through my own experiences, of course, which is inevitable.

No worries, I usually steer clear of Jing posts because XL lives rent-free in my head.

But that doesn't mean I'm not going to stand up for my favorite character. I am also not going to just accept the invalidation of my experiences of the novel and drama as if there is only one right way to interpret it. I don't expect any Jing fans to put up with similar behavior from XL fans either.

I guess it depends on what you define as kind. Kindness to a point your are crippled by it or kindness with boundaries.…
🤣🤭 Lol. You absolutely correct. The novel readers are very mad all around. I'm even mad for XY and CX for what they do to thier most beautiful iconic scenes.

Yep, for me, because my receiving love language is acts of service, I interpret actions as love. XL teaching XY to protect herself is an action I perceive as love. Jing making a promise to marry her is only an idea until he follows through, so with it not happening until XY is forced to put her own dignity on the line to make it happen was not an act of love for me. Love shouldn't require me to lose my dignity; it should empower me.

No, no, no... I wasn't praising myself, just thinking out loud about how love languages affect the way we gravitate toward certain people and characters. One love language is not better than another; it's just how we interpret and perceive what love is. While some love languages require more emotional labor, others require more physicality.

I was genuinely curious about the type of love languages XL fans have, and if they gravitate toward him due to a common love language, or if Xiang Liu's love language speaks to them. Also, do our love languages shape the way we perceive other characters?

Honestly, I think it's wierd everyone thinks killing or letting the problem persist are the only options to TSJ problems. Obviously, I'm not TH so I can't write the options for him, but his inability to wrap his head around on how to deal with his brother and grandmother is oddly the biggest plot hole ever considering he will have to make harder decisions when he is clan leader.

Lmao....my distaste for Jing doesn't lie in his kindness. My distaste in him lies in his always moping around in pity, stalking XY, failure to follow through, and lack of character development.

To exist in a space where being a kind, thoughtful, compassionate and just an overall good person is something…
I guess it depends on what you define as kind. Kindness to a point your are crippled by it or kindness with boundaries.

Jing fans think XL is vile and therefore incapable of kindness. XL fans find Jing unbearably crippled by his kindness and therefore weak.

So at the end of day, we just bicker on what kind of kindness is more valuable.

lol. No one wins.

Its so ironic because those people moaning about how the great things Xiangliu did but not known or acknowledged…
Again, you are misinterpreting what kind of symbolism XL stands for in Confucian thought according to military idealism. It's not about him being the general of a resistance army. It about his loyalty, honor and patriotism. These are messages that is important. The fact that a police station made a XL parody to make a public service announcement about fraud is already proof that XL is a symbol of authority. If XL is such a terrible character, no public let alone government entity would use him in thier marketing and recruiting efforts. 😂

And your example of Jing, is like calling a bag of green apples with one red apple, and bag full of red apples.

And the lovers bugs never tuned into heart break bugs. lmao. There was nothing in the text that suggested it. At best, it had always been open for interpretation on TH's part. You believe what you believe, and I, of course, would believe what I believe.

Again with your misinformation. Everyone knows that JC-T Studios spent a lot of their own money and resources to promote XL. The JC-T fan club invests significant time and effort to promote XL. Many XTH fans contributed hundreds of dollars worth of time creating art, social media marketing tactics, and strategic communications to increase engagement across all digital platforms. The global fan club even organized activities before the release to create engagement for Xiang Liu.

In addition, the more you toot the more ingnorant you sound. What film industry doesn't have stakeholders from multiple media companies? What actor doesn't have socioeconomic barriers in the beginning of thier careers? Who doesn't have to deal with glass ceilings and gatekeepers?

Tan had nothing except his love for dancing, Michael Jackson and a loving family. He worked his booty off to get where he is. He didn't just sat around waiting for others to throw him a bone. In his lowest, he invested in himself through honing his skills by hiring tutors and coaches. He used his OWN money to prepare for his Xiang Liu audition. He had to prove to others he was worth the risk. He never once let his barriers define him. His artistry and work ethic defines him.

Instead of spreading negativity towards those who are celebrating their favorite actors and characters' success by sharing misinformation and unproven opinions, why don't you busy yourself promoting your favorite? Go write some poetry, paint, draw, make art, create video edits—whatever it is, as long as it's positive and uplifts your favorite. Entering these spaces to spread such negativity only makes your favorite look pathetic and salty in light of others' successes.

So why don't you stop scapegoating others and use your time to strategically support your favorite actor through logical and proven methods, instead of trying to destroy other people through unfounded rumors and defamation?

To those that ship CX and XY, why? I genuinely want to know.
Probably for the childhood love arc. They made promise to have each other's back, and be with eachother forever. They lose eachother and reunites. They held eachother up in tough times. It's a beautiful story too.
