I'M HEAD OVER HEELS

Idol was a really good drama. I enjoyed how Ra-ik’s innocence was proven and how genuinely good Se-na was to him. Overall, the drama is worth watching; however, the last four episodes were not very engaging for me. Maybe I was distracted, but I loved the rest of it. This was not a slow burn per se—it was more complex, with romance developing alongside the main plot. Also, Ra-ik was extremely attractive in this drama; he was pure eye candy. Soo-young was fine in it, and I liked her character.

Lastly, I think there should be a new K-drama just for Chungjae. His character has a lot of potential: someone with a bad, rebellious past who is finally financially independent and able to find his own partner and fall in love with someone who can heal him in some way. No matter how tough he acts, he still needs someone. The cool hacker-detective vibe—especially on a motorcycle—is very attractive. He could easily carry his own storyline, and I would love to see him as a main lead.

before finishing the drama, my thoughts below lol

I’m so glad Kim Jae-yeong is finally getting the recognition he deserves by starring in this drama. He looks criminally good, like genuinely deliciously attractive, and I swear I’m completely head over heels for him.

I’m also really loving this whole concept of the girl “fixing” him. I honestly don’t get why people are being so hypocritical about it, acting like “a girl should never fix a guy”—please, boo hoo. kdrama male leads ALWAYS save the girls, so why not? We literally saw it earlier in *Head Over Heels*, with Seong-ah saving Gyeon-u, and now we have Se-na and Do-ra-ik. I’m obsessed.

Se-na is such a badass, and the dynamic between her and Do-ra-ik is just beautiful. The drama has this bittersweet vibe that hits you right in the feels—it genuinely makes me tear up in every episode. I’m so in love with this story and these characters.

MY FAVOURITE DRAMA EVER!

No Tail to Tell had such low ratings that left me shocked because this drama was genuinely so heartwarming and cute. I mean, it was very lovable. The first three episodes are no doubt boring, and I felt like dropping it because I was bored, but the way it picks up after that is amazing. I absolutely love both the main leads, and I kid you not, the calmness and patience with which the main lead, Siyeol, handles Eunho’s tantrums was to die for. I was giggling, blushing, and dying just watching that. The gentleness he showed to her and their banter was so fun and good. Literally, both were just so ready to die for each other. Episode 11 made me cry so much. Siyeol was just so down for her, and when Eunho sacrificed herself for him, I cried. They are so beautiful, my babies.

But I felt so utterly sad to know that they spent literally ten years without each other. Even then, Eunho never changed, and that is literally so her, because after she became the fox again, she met him after ten years and was like, let’s break up. Girl, come on, that man is crying. Still, they got their happy ending, and this might be the first 12 episode drama I have seen this year that actually did not rush the ending and showed proper scenes of them going on a date and being happy. Considering Eunho is still a fox, it would have been better if they had not shown that Siyeol would die and Eunho would just live without him. Never mind, I still think she would not live after him because they are just way too much in love. All his friends also got their happy endings too, and I am so happy that no ends were left loose.

loved the past, the present was meh

NOT a complete enemies-to-lovers as the title suggests. they were enemies for a short time, more like rivals, and then they started dating, so the enemies plot is not explored much. they had such a beautiful relationship until they got separated, and 18 years was way too much. i cried for all the years they lost. even then, they were still more of a rivals type, never complete enemies. so this might or might not count. it’s pretty light.

besides, the past was SO GOOD, and i still think i'm not over their past.

THIS WAS SO TOXIC

First, I am not sure why they were all obsessed with Daon. About how everyone talked about him being in love with anyone who was nice to him, I once read in a book that 'abuse can feel like love. Starving people will eat anything', and for Daon it was the same case, as everyone used him in his life and even slightest bit of affection made him like someone. Soohyun's love for him was pure, but whatever he did was psychotic. His extremely violent tendencies ruined everything for both him and Daon, and the fact that in the end Jaemin told him, “You would never even know why I proposed the contract,” physically hurt because he was right. Soohyun never found out that Daon loved him first.

The contract was between Jaemin and Soohyun, as they pretended to date in front of Daon so that they both could live with him and not lose Daon to one another. Not going to lie, as an idiot Soohyun agreed. Man, come on, you both are cowards. For God’s sake, the only person who actually stood up for Daon was the main lead, which is obviously why they ended up together.

Not going to lie, I thought I might be into the toxic story of Soohyun and Daon, but he was way too violent and possessive. I did like some of the scenes a little, but I am glad they did not end up together. Still, I wish he knew. and he should've fought for daon and should've never agreed with that fucking contract. ALSO, FOUND OUT THAT HE'S CHO YOUNG WOO'S BROTHER OOOLALALA

HATE THIS DRAMA

I started this thinking that what could be wrong with a girl chasing. It might be like she fell first but he fell harder, but literally it was shit. The FL always tried hard for his attention and was literally begging for scraps, and the ML never ever showed any type of affection towards her, even in the last episodes. I thought them marrying would be better and that we would finally get some cute moments, but before the wedding he told her that he knows why couples break up and that he regrets the decision of marrying. He did not want to see dresses with her and called wedding rings “shackles,” like wtf. At the honeymoon, he was so uninterested and kept roaming around with a random woman, and Hani was jealous.
Literally, her guy friend was sooo in love with her, the same way she was with Seong Jo, and the guy friend was the greenest flag ever. Like, if somebody gets someone like him, they’ll be happy for life. He was so caring and protective, and he was all in for supporting her wrongs and rights. He was the epitome of perfection and would have gone to pluck stars for Hani, but obviously she was a naive dumbass who literally got disrespected by the ML even after the marriage.
Please don’t start this drama. I did, thinking what’s going to happen, and it’s the worst K-drama I have ever watched, and I mean it. After watching all the newest K-dramas from 2019–2025, I thought maybe the older ones are good, and I literally found Secret Love (2013) to be the only good one, and even that because it was a melodrama. Hate everyone here, literally EVERYONE, except the guy friend Bong Joon.

JAE YI AND EUN JO!!!

Damn, some of y’all are really pissed because people like Jae Yi and Eun Jo more. First of all, let me clear some things up so no one comes at me. I would never justify domestic violence or slapping. Everyone loves a whole green forest in real life, and that is completely valid because no one wants someone grabbing or pulling them all the damn time. But at the end of the day, this is fiction. It is not like some big alpha daddy CEO is actually going to save us from our problems, right? So wanting enemies to fall in love after all that and showing good character growth falls in the same category.

I have recently been watching older K-dramas, and I finally understand why newer dramas are called soulless productions. These days, K-dramas do not even want anyone to hate the male lead. He is either the most selfless, amazing, astonishing, greenest guy ever, or he is some itty-bitty, unseasoned chicken sarcastic guy in the name of enemies to lovers. Do you all even like this trope?

The newer ones, Dynamite Kiss, Love Next Door, and some others, are not enemies to lovers at all. The trope has literally been ruined by these so-called lovey-dovey couples with a little banter. That is not enemies to lovers.

So yes, I do love Jae Yi and Eun Jo. They are serving angst, their chemistry is on fire, he is actually going through character growth, and they are hot as fuck together. And yes, I do love a good, intense enemies to lovers story. Thank you.

****

I HAVE SOME PROS AND CONS, so
1. the female lead does look older than the male lead, i've seen both of them in some dramas and i've always loved moon sangmin, but nam jihyun was never my favourite, so maybe my dislike is because of that. and sorrynotsorry, i don't find her pretty (doesnt mean she's not). and again, she does look older
2. moon sangmin and the second fl looks cute together and while i get all about HIS LOVE FOR FL, i think it was typical love at first sight shit. i'm over this rn
3. plot is fine, good and all, but THE ANGST between the beastboy aka jae yi and eun jo is ANGSTING. Gosh their scenes are just so hot. i'm all for toxicity in kdramas like gosh like he's grabbing, pulling her and being mean and she's all giving it back. and when yi yeol noticed that his gaze is thick with desire, GAAAAHH I DIED.
4. all love for msm again, but plssss end her with jae yi because it would be THE MOST DELICIOUS ANGSTY ENEMIES TO LOVERS EVERRRR. LIKE EVER.

A MUST WATCH DRAMA, SO GOOD.

It’s literally my favourite rom-com now. As someone who has watched almost all the 2025 dramas, this one did not feel old at all. All the episodes are available on YouTube in 1080p quality. This drama is honestly one of the best rom-coms I’ve ever seen.

The love, the jealousy scenes—oh my God—those were so good. They both waited for each other, and everything about it just worked. Damn, I am in love. Song Hye-kyo and Rain were absolutely amazing in this drama. His character was so childish—always shouting. One moment he’d be speaking in a baby voice, and the next he’d be yelling, while she calmly kept putting him in his place. Those scenes were genuinely some of the funniest moments ever.

He’s literally one of the cutest characters I’ve seen. I’m obsessed with how shy and funny he was, and his smile is ridiculously cute. At first, I was a little annoyed—like, bro, stop being in love with your friend—but damn, Ji-eun had him completely wrapped around her finger.

This drama is a must-watch if you love romantic dramas. This is it. It’s so unbelievably good that I can’t even properly express how adorable, cute, sickeningly sweet, and funny their chemistry was. They are both insanely cute, and I’m completely in love with Rain’s character. Min-hyuk was hot too.

I had watched the Turkish remake years ago, and while I liked it at the time, after watching the original, wow—the Turkish version really dragged the plot. It started off strong because it followed the original, but later it became strange and messy. Now I fully understand why Full House was such a huge phenomenon. The hype was real.
