The scene is literally posted on their own YouTube channel as today's highlight, so I guess you don't need to worry that talking about it will cause it any damage now ;) You can go enjoy it stress-less ;)
the directing is perfect for me and the CGI of the snakes is better than most high budget and popular dramas and…
Personally I think they're real snakes, plus props in scenes like that dramatic moment in ep 8, but I don't think there's much CGI - aside from that fighting scene in ep 1. Otherwise, it'd look extremely amazing for a low-budget series. But again, it's just my observation, I don't have any actual knowledge.
So... you guys are telling me that you *didn't* like the office scene??? I thought it was beautifully made and you could clearly see the passion behind those kisses.
On the other hand, I feel like the show is back to its editing issues, similar to the first few episodes. It felt choppy again. Episodes 4-8 felt more refined in that respect and just "flew" better. Now I felt like we were jumping all over the place from one scene to another 😋 Admittedly, some of these scenes were very cute (like Chi Cheng confession aftr WSW admitted to pretending to be sophisticated) and satisfying (the conversation with Yue Yue), but overall feel was not that... fluent I guess is the best word that I'd use.
I mean, the shift happened in the previous episode already when he saw Chi Cheng being genuinely concerned about him when he got hurt and Xiaocubao was in danger. Even more so when it turned out that Chi Cheng knew about WSW's plans regarding Xiaocubao and trusted him, didnt really blame him for anything beside endangering himself. You could see WSW was genuinely touched by the entire conversation and sooo happy to be cuddled by Chi Cheng.

Oh, no worries, I didn't didnt find it particularly rude, just interesting ;) Well, they might be putting zero effort, but they still need to put out money to buy IP rights 😋
I wish the thai bl fans would stay out of this. Don't get me wrong but all the cringe videos from thai bl fans…
Not a fan of Thai BLs, but I don't think there's any harm in people imagining a remake? If anything, it's additional promotion for the original, isn't it? 😋 Plus, it's not like fans doing edits will result in an actual remake... And if that did happen and was bad... that still doesn't affect the quality of the original show, does it?
For me, despite the huge obsession with certain series like this one, I still think the Japanese are always ahead.…
This is not the first time I see Gel Boys mentioned as this really good Thai BL. I was sceptical, but having watched a trailer just now, I might give it a try. Idk, it's giving me European indie cinema vibes from the trailer. Plus the acting looks fairly natural.
I wanted to recommend The On1y One as a really good Taiwanese BL, but I took the liberty of checking your watchlist for it and you apparently dropped it so I guess no convincing you Taiwanese BLs are still alive 😋
Is this another one of countless rumours circulating about the show or it's actually confirmed/verifiable? (about…
Hmmm... "apparently" doesn't sound that convincing to be honest 😋 Normally I'd ignore such revelations completely, just like all these news about the drama being banned etc. However, it does make one feel a bit weird when combined with the lack of episode 10 preview...🤔
Oh well, I guess we'll see one way or the other eventually. If we get no more kissing scenes, we'd know for sure something did happen 😋
The fact that they didn’t upload episode 10’s trailer has meworried but I heard tomorrow in China is a sensitive…
Is this another one of countless rumours circulating about the show or it's actually confirmed/verifiable? (about the deleted kiss, that is).
If they deleted it in the first place, why would they even talk about it afterwards, unless they wanted to release it as some uncut paid VIP footage or sth. The novel apparently had no kissing in this part of the story...
The sensitive day (7th of July) is (or for China already was) today, not tomorrow.

Japanese BLs are still number one for me. Korea comes in second. I have a soft spot for Taiwanese BLs, but the stuff they've been putting out recently has been rather underwhelming, to put it nicely. I usually don't watch Thai, not my cup of tea. Tried a few, skipped-watched or dropped most. I am looking forward to Shine though, cause the trailer looks hella good. I don't even know where to put Chinese BLs on this list tbh, but Revenged Love would probably go into my all-time favourites if it maintains its current quality/entertainment level.
now you have to all admit that china is the best country to produce bl despite being the only country to suffer…
I don't know if I necessarily agree with that opinion, but they are definitely the best in creating electrifying tension. And those fake "bromances" also often have plenty of it - so yeah, y'all definitely check those censored BLs (aka "bromances") and while you're at it don't miss out on Killer and Healer (you can thank me later).
Also fans thinking that Xian and Zi Yu are going to be in multiple series after this and have fanmeets are kind…
Yes to your first sentence. Not only because it is a Chinese BL, but generally, as far as I know, Thailand is the only country that has this CP-model that turns two actors into some sort of a unit to have multiple joint productions. It usually doesn't happen in other countries (the exception I can think of is these two Korean BL dramas with the same pairing, but I don't remember the titles - one show was roommates-to-lovers trope and the other one had one of them being a vampire). Actors play their parts, they do promotions together and they go their separate ways professionally, unless there is a second season. Just how it usually goes for actors.
However, I am not so sure what you're talking about pertaining to The On1y One actors not being allowed to meet? I've never heard of that. And generally, how do people even know those things? It's not like we are privy to the internal decisions of their agencies 😋 Dong Qin was not part of the promotions in Taiwan, but he was filming in Mainland China at that point. Him and Benjamin had a live together on Weibo as part of promotions with their co-actress and later on two of them had an actual physical fan meet in Macau.
Also... Wang Yi Bo and Xiao Zhan thing... Are they really not allowed to interact in public or do they strategically avoid being potentially seen next to one another due to the unhinged fans and anti-fans reactions every.single.time whenever these two are even mentioned in some proximity to each other or there's a possibility of them attending the same event? 🤔
The rating says nothing at all. Only 8 out of 24 episodes have been published. Many have not even given a rating.…
Well, I actually agree with @Senza on the ratings part. BL dramas usually have a following of people who will watch everything as long as it has two good looking guys kissing and rate it high for that reason alone (e.i. it being a BL drama), even if the quality is rather dubious. There are plenty of "straight" shows of various genres that are well-written, complex and well-acted and they barely get an 8.2 rating (a rating which they objectively deserve) and plenty of BL dramas that stumble on storytelling, acting, well... virtually anything, and still receive the same rating just because they happen to be a BL. Homophobia affecting the rating argument might play a part in some cases of shows who garnered a lot of attention outside of the usual target audience of BL dramas (e.g. Love in the Big City when I did see people just down-rate the drama for it being a queer drama), but it honestly doesn't happen very often.
agreed 1000000%thai, korea and japan bl are now all the same scripts i tried to watch somes but its like watching…
As much as I am enjoying Revenged Love, I strongly disagree with that comment about Japanese BLs having the same scripts. Japanese BLs are some of the most original, unique stories you'll fine in the entire drama-land.
A story about a 30 year old virgin who starts hearing other people's thoughts bcs of still being a virgin at his age - they have it. A story about an erotic fiction writer - they have it. A story about a guy who has almost supernatural bad luck and decided to cling to a very lucky guy to avoid accidents happening to him - they have it. An office story about a dude who finds out his 60-sth years old boss has a crush on him - they have it. Domestic violence/abuse themes treated with sensitivity - they have it. Highschool stories, office stories, stories happening in the underworld, stories happening in the showbusiness industry - they literally have it all and they constantly deliver something new.
Liking Japanese BLs is another thing. I actually agree that they're not for everyone as jdramas in general have a very unique feel to them, but saying how they deliver recycled scripts is just factually not true.
My mind glitched for a few seconds on that Schroedinger's sexuality remark 😋
And yeah...I am so used to bi erasure, not just by BL dramas based on stories from a decade ago... but virtually everywhere, I don't even care 😋
