The more I think about it, the more I felt that while it is true that Chi Cheng has moved on, but he hasn't completely…
The rapture between Guo Chengyu and him is one thing, but honestly he could've just resolved it with Chengyu alone - the question of sleeping with your bro's bf, brocode and whatnot is a business between the two of them. I think it's as simple as wanting closure. People need closure. He got cheated on by someone he loved and the person who betrayed him didn't even give him the curtesy of a conversation. I am neither surprised nor blame Chi Cheng that he's still shaken up by the whole thing. The only thing that's wrong is that he apparently didn't tell Wu Suo Wei he intended to meet up with Wang Shuo and Guo Chengyu.
I would recommend: - The On1y One(really, really good, a slow burn and an ending that leaves you hanging the first…
The saddest thing is that The On1y One actually *had* the hype. Admittedly, not to the extent of Revenged Love, but still... I guess the main difference was that mainland audiences didn't like it (and seem to love Revenged Love). But it used to have a 9 rating on IMDB (we kinda know they drop the ratings after some time), with like 7-8K votes (not a few hundred or a thousand like some other highly rated BLs, but eight thousand votes)... Such a shame π

No, no, no. No stopping at episode 11. Once people see it, they *need* to experience Sheng Wang's "struggle" in episode 12, at the very least the first 20 minutes of it π
It's mandatory and necessary for a proper experience π
I'd say episode 8 is a beautiful ending that actually feels the most like closure, but it does strip a person of some moments that transpire later on and are still worth seeing.
To the original author: I'd say watch all of it and suffer with the rest of us once the ending comes π
Guys could u all recommend me some bls to watch which pay like more focus on the building the characters and tension.…
Well... If you're looking for detailed character building then maybe try The On1y One. I will warn you though that all the build-up leads to a somewhat unsatisfying ending (the drama was filmed with an intention of a second season that never happened). Still, the cinematography is beautiful, the acting is chef's kiss and the characters feel very real.
And I'd recommend We Best Love in general as one of the best romcom BLs out there (I liked only s1, but it does well as a stand alone story and you can always try s2 - you might like it like many others did). I'd recommend it here bcs - similar to RL - it's a variation on enemies-to-lovers trope. Same director as Unknown.
Best scene of today? The beard rub. Whatβs yours?
The terrarium scene won me over completely.
Everything about it: from the change in CC's facial expressions, to how excited WSW was while talking about the terrarium and how Xiacubao would definitely like it, to CC looking both guilty (for suspecting WSW) and smitten, to WSW's final declaration how he doesn't really have experience in dating guys, but he will learn and become the best boyfriend π₯Ί
Literally *everything* about this scene got me the way I didn't expect this show to get me.
Up till now this drama has been mostly entertaining/funny/unhinged/steamy for me. Now... they decided to attack me emotionally with that terrarium scene, huh?
Thereβs no need to spread unnecessary panic. So far, there is no evidence that BL actors are being arbitrarily…
Gong Jun played the "shou" part in Advance Bravely though... so did Timmy Xu (though admittedly Johnny Huang became more of a star than Timmy).
What actually happened to Xiao Zhan, bcs isn't he currently like among the "hottest" names in the industry? I also don't think he played any of those hyper-masculine types to "clean up" his image either.
Is this really good, or is it just overrated because it is a BL?
It's super entertaining. I don't think it's objectively 9/10 good, if you decide to analyse its components in a more objective manner (editing, directing, storytelling, acting etc.) but its entertainment value is like 9.5/10. So is tension between the leads.
I can't believe they postponed this drama. I just got back into watching BLs and this was my first one after a…
You can try "Addicted" or "Stay With Me" which are by the same writer as "Revenged Love". Two works basically tell the same story: "Addicted" has great chemistry, but is objectively questionable (if you think Chi Cheng is a red flag, wait till you meet Gu Hai π), "Stay With Me" is more wholesome, but got "bromancified".
If you're looking for enemies to lovers Taiwanese BL, I will second Froehlein and recommend "We Best Love" (with that difference that I only liked first season, though second one had one of the most impressive scenes in any BL I've watched acting-wise...).
"History 3: Trapped" has enemies to lovers plus action plus a rather rich story. It's generally considered somewhat iconic among BL fans, so maybe you'd enjoy it.
This proves the rumor to be true. That already flickered through the air yesterday. It was suspected partly because…
Wow, I made some impression I see ππ
When it comes to The On1y One I'm same old me: have no hope. Especially after the whole crowd-funding debacle or whatever that even was.
Re: Edit 2: I have no knowledge of Eternal Faith, but it's not uncommon for Chinese dramas to be shelved for long periods of time. Though 4 years is a long time... On the other hand, dramas like Spirealm, Justice in the Dark etc. eventually aired in other countries after being pulled initially π€·ββοΈ
I wouldn't necessarily look at them as any indicator of what might happen to Revenged Love, though. Revenged Love being released *solely* on international platforms from the beginning.

I don't think we'll have The On1y One situation happening again (ugh, I hate remembering how much I wanted the second season...)
In RL's case, everything is already filmed after all... I mean, even Addicted aired in its entirety outside of China (the entirety = the parts they filmed).
But I guess there is a possibility we will be getting a highly edited version of RL (?).
I loved the scene between the two of them. I'm just reluctant to elaborate because there have been calls for the…
The scene is literally posted on their own YouTube channel as today's highlight, so I guess you don't need to worry that talking about it will cause it any damage now ;) You can go enjoy it stress-less ;)

Cause I can't π
