I think it's gonna be a blast. I absolutely love chaotic comedy. 🤣 But, I get what you mean. I feel like we're going to see more of the romantic side with the 2 main couples, while completing the audits is where most of the comedy will be found. fingers crossed anyway.
this all m seeing all the hate for FL as if it's not writer's thing girls go mad if anything goes bad for ML
I'm banking on the writing to catch her up to speed so she can finally be in the know like we are. 🤞🏾 I think that's when the dynamic between the two and the story will get even better. And yeah, it seems that the ML can do no wrong. When he has literally done all the wrong. Of course his upbringing has a lot to do with it but still...Lol.
Its obvious ML's plan is to take them down, and her scheming is srsly just going to jeopardize his plans. She's…
Hmmmm. It might be obvious to us, the viewers but, not to her, the character. We are privy to scenes and information she knows nothing of yet. WE know that the ML probably wants to burn it all down. He's "competent" because he knows the in's and out's of the gang his been raised in his whole life. She doesn't, cause he hasn't told her jackshit. But he has told her that whether she lives or dies is up to him.(so romantic huh? Definitely a person I would want to trust. meh.) She's going off of what she has learned by herself, and I think she's doing a pretty good job. She also doesn't know that her ex is a snake because she hasn't found out yet. How is she supposed to act accordingly when she's not aware yet? We have to follow the show and give her time to do that. Hopefully the writers have her find out all of this soon and the real revenge plan can commence.
Also, I honestly believe she does these "dumb and risky" actions KNOWING he will always save her. She's booking on his great love for her to be able to get what she wants at the end. She is definitely manipulating him. That's clever imo. She's working with what she has. And to be able to survive in an environment of murder and danger in any way definitely signifies mental strength. And nah, she's not low EQ. I believe she understands her own and the emotions and feelings of others but i will agree that her thirst for revenge is clouding that. Which, duh. Her revenge is the main plot.
Lastly. He is A bad guy. He might not be THE bad guy. How he got there is sad and worthy of pity but, he has done things that are unforgivable. And he knows this. He wants to rehabilitate and I'm cheering for him.
side note: the cop dude also has a pitiful backstory yet, I don't see many people feeling sorry for him. That's interesting to me. Anyway! This was fun!
I really don't get the hate for the FL on this one. Of course she's playing with his heart. She's SUPPOSED to in order to enact her revenge. Do y'all not remember that she believes the ML's crew is the reason for her family's downfall and death, her Godfather's death, and she was SOLD because of them! Like, C'mon! She found her in and she took it. Both of the leads are ruthless(ML is literally a killer) and cunning, they just go about it in different ways. But I guess because she's a woman she's not supposed to be? She's just supposed to fall in love, be grateful for the good looking man, and forget about her PLAN? Nah. Forget that. She's on a mission, and I hope she goes through with it until the end. Even though it seems like it's taking the direction of her starting to feel sorry for him. Which, granted. I feel sorry for him too. He's just a product of his environment. He's done a lot of stuff he didn't want to do. Maybe she'll confess it all to the ML, he'll find out about his uncle, and they'll team up. I'm hoping for it actually. But, I don't want her to stop, cause at the end of the day, that syndicate needs be taken down. Point. Blank. Period. They aren't the good guys here.
I knew it too! everybody is playing everybody in this drama. the only one that seems genuine up till now is Zhijie...maybe. lol maybe he's playing his Uncle. I sure hope so.
I'm liking everything up to now. I love me a melodrama. The ups and downs. The twists and turns. And it's only 6-7 episodes in. Love the ML. That actor is always great. The FL...I am not the happiest with how they chose to direct her character. I've seen Lu Zhao Hua (love her)and I know she can emote very well. Her character seems so flat in this one. But that could be because she has to have a poker face to keep up appearances. idk. Hopefully that changes with the upcoming episodes cause I'm thinking that not everything is how she thinks it is regarding the ML.
This is only his third major role. Many believe she should have started with smaller or more challenging roles…
I believe that I'm being pretty realistic. When we consider facial expressions, body animation, delivery, charisma, and more she lacks. She's mediocre. A person shouldn't be getting leading roles at that level off jump. Majority of people will find it difficult to watch them lead. Also, she's already done 2 main roles so that's definitely enough screen-time for me to judge her ability for this next project. I'm pretty sure she's taking acting classes(bravo for her) but supporting roles would have definitely benefited her more. She has major room for improvement and I hope she gets there because there is potential. Rough potential but potential nonetheless. And like I said in my initial comment, maybe SIG and others helped her along the way, since there's a heap of established actors in the casting.
If you don't like mystery, you probably won't like this drama. And i'm talking high complexity type shit till the end. But for me, it was blast! I don't want to give anything away cause I can talk hours about this show. What I will say is, the script was complex without losing the plot. All the actors did amazing. The production was great and by the end of it, I don't think even Sarah Kim knew who she was anymore, but she did know what she wanted. That's something that she never lost sight of. Bravo to this show.
So happy to see SHS and NIW together again! I absolutely loved the manwha so, I can't wait to see the different dynamic they'll bring with this. The other two actors casted are perfect as well. I missed watching YKS and LJW I've only seen in Welcome to Wakiki but she was great. I'm excited!

I always thought this too. Acting does take practice and that practice should have started out with supporting roles since there's typically more variety within them. It's not that she can't act, it's just her level in it isn't leading role worthy yet. Put her alongside with esteemed actresses and she will fall VERY short. Talent can only take you so far. It's skill that makes that talent useful. Especially in a career that hangs on viewer "approval" and praise. But, she has her K-pop fans to lift her up with the sad falsehoods. Smh. I wish her well on this project though. Hopefully Seo In-Guk and others can help guide her.
