Would you say, that the love triangle is dominating the plot?
not at all. I believe this "love triangle" is to present to us viewers the contrast between her previous relationship with JY and what could be with KJ. Almost like we're going to be going along with IA as she navigates and confronts her past hurt to reach the final decision to be with KJ. So, JY's rising presence in the storyline is moving the plot along other than dominating it.
after seeing the episode 7 preview, this "love triangle" is so fake. lol. IA doesn't want anything to do with JY. And in the same scene, we see her being even more fond of KJ along with a little bit of jealousy. π I'm so ready for their cute and romantic era.
Okay he was forceful in the beach and I can excuse it a bit, but if they show he was also forceful on the scene…
Yeah, but they don't care about her mental status. they just care about business and how their marriage looks on paper. One power company with another. She's not just some "random" woman. But, I guess now that her shit has touched Haemu, it's a problem. She crossed a line. That's why he's shipping her out to wherever the hell. Lol

i believe it's the validation of his father that's tying him. he wants his father to understand that he won't be someone of no use like his mother became to him so, that marriage was his biggest power move and if he fucks that up, what does he have? he keeps sacrificing his potential for happiness for something that will never come. some are calling it sad, and some pathetic. And he definitely needs to keep his hands to himself. His trauma doesn't excuse that.
the definition of a simp is usually a man who gives unwavering attention and affection to someone that doesn't feel anything towards them. That's obviously not the case here. He's an honest ML who has feeling towards the FL who obviously has feelings for him too. so, no simping here.
Oh honey! Here. We. Go! I had a feeling that episode 6 would be the takeoff of this drama since it's the halfway point. What genius writing it was to fully pull in JY's part in all of this with a freaking scandal. Cause duh! And now that his side has been shown a bit more, I kinda feel for him. He has absolutely no control over the things that are going on his life and I believe that with IA, he finally felt that he was finally in control of something instead of being controlled. But, at the end of it all he chose business and now it looks like he wants that control back but that's not going his way either anymore. Also, his wife sure is something. I just hope he sets himself free. Looking forward to more of his story actually. And his scenes with IA.(cause lets be real. it's SHS and KJW)
As for KJ and IA? We'll definitely be getting "competition" between the ML's but I think what KJ is actually going to be competing with is IA's fear and stubbornness. He's gonna have to break down some more walls to get her to understand that she can be and deserves to to be loved correctly.
Solid episode. I even liked that we got to see a little bit of co-worker bonding with the two ladies. That was too cute.
And as for the ending? All I'm gonna say is that I love a dedicated man. GJ for the win.
Ki Jun has to be one of the best written men I have ever seen in a drama. He's a whole damn freaking walking forest. Confident but not arrogant. Straightforward but soft at the same time. That ending scene with them at the bar had me in tears. Her story and his reaction? Heartbreaking but he was so understanding and sensitive to her story. Ugh! They truly do compliment each other so well. In ah needs the type of man that she can lean on and depend on without him taking control without permission. Ki Jun is that man. And Ki Jun isn't foreign to headstrong women. He was raised and loved by them. In Ah doesn't "scare" him away. I'm rooting for them so much. I'm not even worried about homegirl(y'all know who I'm talking about. lol) I have a feeling KJ is gonna clear up that misunderstanding pretty fast.
I've noticed that In A doesn't have family. We've gotten information on every leading characters family dynamic except her. I wonder why? Maybe orphaned?
I think VP and In Ah might have dated before he was told to marry his wife. VP has definitely still got feelings…
yeah. They definitely have romantic history. Also, his actions seem a bit concerning or is it just me? Wanting her in meetings when she doesn't need to be there, parking outside of her place, that look of jealousy at the restaurant when he heard In A and Gi Joon were at a hotel, and now this incident in his office. It's like whatever happened in the past, he won't let go of it or her. Maybe back then, she was his only happy place. And is he the "dark past" that she has to get over...
And as for the person who is sending the messages, my first thought was Ah Jeong too but if this happens wouldn't it devastate Jae Yeol's position and in turn devastate him as well? If she likes him so much, would she do that to him? Unless she thinks it would be freeing him and she would be there to catch him or something? Whew chile! We shall see!
Middle finger to the ones that doubted Gong Myung. Homeboy is holding his own alongside Hae Sun beautifully. And gosh is he handsome. Chemistry is amazing and it'll only get better since we're only on ep.4. Storywise? It's keeping me on my toes. The humor is up my alley and I love and am interested in the characters that I've been introduced to (yes. even A Jeong with her shameless ass. π) and the heartfelt moments in between the comedy pleasantly surprises me everytime. Every episode leaves me wondering and wanting to see and know more. Can't wait for the weekend!
also...WTH is going on with In Ah and VP?? Ahh! This waiting is torture!
I didn't watch the trailer so I don't know about the love triangle stuff. But after this 1st episode, I just want homegirl to HEAL. Like damn. I'm rooting for her.
Since they are already making a whole show about messy office scandals, and even marketed it as "29+"…
Gosh, here's to hoping! lol But, it is S. Korea so I wouldn't expect too much juiciness. Best bet, it'll just be more juicy compared to some of their other dramas. Which is fine with me. It seems they've been getting bolder with their dramas lately.
I'm really hoping they handle this properly since the second female lead is written to have feelings for the him,…
It's definitely going to be interesting. I'm curious how the writer goes about it. especially in a rom-com. It's possible that this loveless marriage is actually a contractual one since he's the son of a major company and she's the daughter of one. He saw it as power move and took it. He is stated as someone who prioritizes business over feelings so that checks out. But then, with his secretary, those unprioritized feelings start to bubble up causing a tug-of-war between duty and what/who he truly wants.
And he definitely needs to keep his hands to himself. His trauma doesn't excuse that.
