This was very hard for me because every single person that SHS has worked with has great chemistry with her. But, It's definitely JCW for me as well. Because they are such masters in their craft and both very chameleon when getting into character. They do so well with convincing us they ARE the character. The one thing that solidified this top spot for me though is that I want to see them in another project together but in a different genre. I just want more of them together. I've never wanted that before this badly. Fingers crossed I get what I want! 🤣

*Honorable mention to the chemistry with LJY in Brave Citizen.(which is a movie not a drama) Even though their characters were straight up enemies, the chemistry they exuded made me want to see them in my favorite troupe which is enemies to lovers. 😝

Also check out Angels Last Mission: Love. She plays such a cold but layered character. The storyline is also fantastic along with the chemistry with the ML. But just aheads up if you're religious, the show is quite heavy in the "this and that's" of Christianity. It peeved some people. But to me that's what made it great.

Another hit in the bag for her with Welcome to Samdalri! I look forward to her next project!

Honorable mention for the chemistry between SHS and JCW. Every scene had so much realness to them. That's what you get when you have two aces of their craft and put them together. 💕

Such a beautiful ending to a beautiful story! My heart is so full and satisfied. It's happy endings and new beginnings for each of the characters. This truly was what a slice of life and healing drama should be. I'm gonna miss it!! 😢

Side note: I wish there could be a mini series for us that followed the characters in their day to day life. But i guess that's just me being selfish. 😝

The fact that karma is biting Eun Joo in her ass while Sam Dal is healing and happy and thriving is one of the best take aways from this show.
Revenge? Revenge who? Honey, Sam Dal doesn't need to lift one finger!👏🏾👏🏾

What's crazy to me is the justifying of bad behavior. Yes, this is the comment section and people have the right to post anything they want, but that doesn't mean others have to tolerate and condone said behavior when this is supposed to be a safe place to discuss shows. nobody wants to see such vile stuff.

This is a healing drama. it was advertised as a healing drama. healing dramas take a good amount of time to flesh out the story and the characters. The execution of this show is spot on. As viewers we watch these characters HEAL from whatever it is that hurt them or put them in rough spots. Healing. Takes. Time. At jump we usually see the characters at their worst before their best. But, they do get there. Give the characters grace. This show is 16 episodes and we're almost to the halfway point. This is where the healing begins. If you think the pace is too slow, or you don't like how the characters are being written up till now and it frustrates you, wait for it to finish then come back and state your feelings. Drawing up conclusions to a show you don't even have half the information about is pretty ignorant.

For so many harsh years it took to become the world renowned photographer Cho Eun Eye, I can't wait for her to find "the crazy" Cho Sam Dal that was lost. It's gonna be a fun and healing journey!

most of the hate comes from people that THINK they know whats going to happen in the show and project their possibilities on here. And instead of keeping their baseless opinions to themselves or waiting for more episodes, they post their nonsense.

going to the hospital was definitely a no-no. that was definitely for the drama. i was speaking on the comment about how she didn't fight back when stating that.
but irl companies can and do drop out of deals, projects, endorsements and contracts if they feel their image will be damaged in any way. Especially jf they're a public figure. it's the publics voice vs. a few. and yeah she can sue. but that takes time and proof which she didn't have. Her AD had that fixed recording. so, that would lead her back to square one.
I will say that she could have used the seducing of the bf to her advantage though. she should have pushed that pride aside.

it's more than a plot device when this happens irl though. the excessiveness was the reality of it all imo. the blowback was the reality. This stuff happens like this. I read an article about an k-pop artist just last week or so that got caught up in a scandal and they were abruptly erased from any projects they had going on and on SM.
Sam Dal did fight back. She advocated for herself hard. She even went to the freaking hospital and was bombarded with reporters. She wrote her own statement/article with her staff to back her up, yes. But, only one news station picked it up. No one listened! No one wanted to believe her!You can only do so much when you can't do anything anymore but wait it out...with a bunch of reporters always at your door because now they know your address. She exhausted her options. It was shown to us. Now how long this went on for before they dipped, I'm not sure. If they told it in the show I missed it. But even then, we shouldn't judge a character on how much pressure we think they should be able to handle when situations get hard. I mean, what do you do when the frying pan gets too hot and you can't take it anymore? You hop outta that bitch. 🤣

DKs voice really matches the vibe of the show. So fresh and strong.

It's crazy how people are calling Sam Dal helpless like we really didn't see everything that she built and worked hard for stripped away in a matter of days. we don't know how long she tried to advocate for herself before she decided to go back to her hometown. But even if it was sudden, culturally in S. Korea your reputation can literally plummet in a day even when you do have a PR team. So, this happening isn't farfetched at all. What should be talked about is how someone can go that low to tank someone else's career and not Sam dals reaction to being completely blindsided by it.

Anyway. Excited for episode 2!

i dont know if I'm reading too much into it, but the scene when she was in her studio after all the shit hit the fan- there was a shot of the photos of the people that she photographed-they all had their backs turned towards her. That kind of symbolized to me that the people that she thought were "close" turned their backs on her. Even when they knew she was innocent. They could have easily squashed that allegation, but they didn't. Thats what made it even more messed up to me.

I just read all of the character profiles and I'm even more excited than before! There's not one character that seems unnecessary and each character will bring a layer to the story.

Love any movie where a bully/monster gets their ass beat and justice is implemented. I throughly enjoyed myself watching this. I knew SHS was gonna be amazing, but every actor did their job very well. This was my first time watching LJY and homeboy can act. I definitely have to check out more of his work.

Side note: was the chemistry of SHS and LJY off the charts or was it just me? They work very well together. They should do another project together. Perferrably a "Noona" romance? I'll be praying to the SK casting Gods. 🙏🏾
