You are correct. You can't just get rid of it. There is no cure for DID. There have been rare cases where the diagnosed person successfully fused with their alters but even then, that would take a really long time.

Ugh! The writing of Hyeyeon pisses me off so much. She's so airy, fun and confident but, you're right, she didn't really provide anything to the story. You take her out and the dynamic doesn't shift. I so wanted her to have a connection with Eunho because they're both such a stark contrast to each other. The little interaction they had at that game day was so cute and I wish the writer had built on that. shit, I wish the writer would have done a lot of things. lol
Just to let some people know, this drama was promoted by the writer herself to be about exploring pain and then ultimately finding growth, healing and resolution. Now, we witnessed a lot of pain but, if you can tell me that you witnessed any growth or healing, I would have to ask if we watched the same drama. Granted, there are two episodes left but up until Ep.10 there has been a whole lot of nothing. Not one of us can say that either of them have grown. Why are you confused by people expecting something that it was promoted to be? Each episode is a little over an hour so the writer might've written something for us to see that there's been a bit of growth. I'm holding on by my pinky though. Lol. I'm not rooting for them as a couple though cause, hell no. I'm rooting for them as individuals characters, with Eunho finding happiness outside of Hyunoh(like seeing her doing things like riding her bike, gardening or something else but alone) and Hyunoh holding himself accountable for his trash behavior in the past, admitting such and doing better. My rating will still be sitting at a 4 though. Ha! And when I heard that she was going to dive into DID, I was excited. There was so much she could've done with the script that could have been complex and beautiful. But, she failed. It's a shame.

i guess we'll have to see what these last two episodes bring. I'm still upset about the writing of this drama but it will probably ease a bit of irritation if I see some growth from both of them. I would absolutely love to see her finding things outside of her partner that makes her happy.

imo, he never priotized her. he put his job before her and their relationship many times. he would leave her at the drop of a dime whenever anything with the grandmas occured. granted that's his family but, he never told her about them so in her perspective he just leaves her without explanation and then comes back with some sweet words and kisses like nothing happened. he never told her about his family because he didnt trust her with that information cause he was afraid that she would leave him. he didnt want her to leave him so he left her first. without the explanation of why he didnt want to get married. and even after he broke it off, he didn't leave her alone. he's a selfish man and he's emotionally unavailable. But i kind of see how people wouldn't see his behavior in the relationship as toxic/unhealthy because Eunho accepted it. it was never written that it bothered her that much outside of pouting when he left her for his many job calls. which bothered the hell out of me. lol
To see them together again is gonna be so lovely.
