This is a list of my favorites DH/FJ stories. If somebody has other recommendations, please share them. I can't leave my house except for grocery shopping... so I am desperately trying to find more quality fics.
Hey everyone. I am obsessed with Vengo. I absolutely loved him as DHD. I already like him a lot in TMOPB but in ELOD he's become my new obsession. It's in YouTube fully subbed in English. It's not a romance. More like a mix of The Mummy and Indiana Jones. The first two episodes are a bit slow and Vengo doesn't appear much, but once he joins the main group in ep3... I really recommend it. If you like adventures movies, give it a chance. It's a fantastic series with a great cast, and amazing plot and a perfect pace. Plus, Vengo looks so handsome!!! It was weird at first because DH is very pale (bathtub scene!!), and here Vengo has a tan and freckles!!! But I swear that after a couple of eps you will love him just as much as DJ (almost, anyway XD).

There is a scene in the epilogue, something like there is a beauty contest every year in Heaven. BQ won the first year. FJ won the second, third a fourth year. Ali asks LS, “is my mom less pretty than aunt FJ?” LS says: “no, it’s because YH was the judge the first time. DH was the judge the second, third and forth year.” Then FJ and BQ get tired of it and don’t participate anymore. The Forth Uncle wins the next 5 times. Why? Because ZY is the the judge. It’s not a word by word translation, just what I remember
Not at all. In fact, you might like it more if you don't. Eternal Love is an alternative story because the producers didn't have the rights to the Pillow Book, the book where this drama is based on.
What do you all think - can I watch this if I haven't read the novel yet, or should I read the novel first before…
It's a super happy ending, just a bit short. In the book it's a bit more open, but in the drama they extended and it's very happy. We complain because we want to see more of their happiness, instead of just the last few minutes. But it's not bittersweet, I promise.
I like the book better than the novel, but the book is a bit tricky to understand because it has a lot of flash backs. I recommend to watch the drama first and then read the book. The first 22 episodes in the drama are only shown as flashbacks in the book. Maybe watch up til there, and then read book 1, then finish the drama, then read book 2
