yeah, well...i'm (not) sorry for the person i'm about to become once it gets released. i can smell from afar this right here is yaoi cocaine tailored for my taste. with actors i love, on top of that.
this is so real omg, i've been watching OFC behind the scenes, constantly rewatching the drama, rereading the…
i'm glad to know it resonated with so many people! i also regret not watching this sooner and not a week passes without me wishing for new content. i haven't watched all the mls' interviews yet because i know it will make me crazy. but omg...i've rewatched this drama three times already.
my thoughts exactly! i need a whole drama about them
i'm glad to know i'm not the only one shipping them hard! i'd devour a whole drama about them!
maybe you already know, but they're back in the upcoming 2nd season and the relationship chart for it IS very interesting. i really hope we'll get tons of moments between these two in the new season.
9 days left until the international release though 😭
robin being in this season and the managers being back makes me even more invested in this season than i already was. i only realized how much i liked this show months after i first finished it. the main leads chemistry and tenderness is everything and beautifully contrasted with whatever their managers have going on haha. talking about kijima & yukari, i REALLY hope we'll get tons of spicy & tender moments between them................i love their dynamic so much & i need MORE ♡
as it is the case for 99% of jbls on mdl : don't look at the ratings and watch it for yourself.
i didn't go into it with much expectations: i bought the mangas months ago after i was done watching + reading mood indigo (by the same author) to console myself but i didn't read them (and still haven't) because i wasn't sure i would like it as much. well, i can't speak for the mangas but the drama was a 100/10. it's really unique and atmospheric. so much melancholia and sadness oozing from the characters. i loved how the healing properties of nature were highlighted as well, especially in these circumstances.
ritsu isn't supposed to be a character everyone loves i think. but he's more than a "bastard". i won't say much as to not spoil the drama, but i think the contrast between the two MLs and how they led their life up to that announcement is very clever. i loved how flawed he was, and how from his first appearance, you get a glimpse at his mental state. the way he talks, moves and looks at masumi at the beginning is so different from how he does all of that in the last episode. the actor did a sublime job at portraying him imo.
i also really liked the point the show makes in showing one can still find joy and hope in hopeless circumstances. yuma in particular really touched me, for he embodies that hope, that joy, and that innocence that both MLs lose so early in their life and the power all of that can have.
the OST was the cherry on top. i honestly loved this drama.
bonus point: the kisses and the s*x scenes are just...wow.
