You think the only defining characteristic of Gao Tu is the fact that he is an omega? Does a person’s gender dictate his whole personality? You see how little sense that makes?
This show is very amateurish and the main couple’s storyline drags. It’s not even a love story, not when one person has zero idea about the actual personality of the other person. The first omega verse LA adaptation tag is interesting, sure, but the actual series is objectively poorly made.
Still like the SWL and Gao Tu storyline, cliche as it is. Their love story actually feels organic and SWL has the best lines.
I’m so confused … so it seems like the flashback scene shown in the last episode, the really violent one, was in Mild’s imagination? It didn’t really happen, he just imagined about what might have happened when he heard Knight came into his room? And what really happened was that Knight stumbled into his room while drunk and possibly kissed/touched him while he was sleeping and Mild didn’t wake up? So many baffling choices to the storyline, why show the violent scene then, what purpose does that serve? There was literally no need for that.
Also, the reactions of everybody to this whole incident is astounding. Even if Knight just kissed Mild, that’s still a pretty much unforgivable breach of trust, that a friend would enter the bedroom of a younger sibling and touch him while he was sleeping. If this is supposed to be a toxic romance, I can see Mild forgiving Knight, that part is not that strange actually lol. But the reactions of the rest of the people are what I don’t get.
Aaahhh, I love this series so much!! The romance is pitch perfect till now, I only hope they don’t lose the pace and the spark. The second couple is so adorable too! I want to see more of the investigation aspect.
I barely managed the first half of ViceVersa and though Last Twilight started really well, it kind of lost steam two thirds into the show. IMO, this series is the best JimmySea has done till now.

As for the super heavy topic in the last episode, it’s obviously not Knight. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt when he went into Mild’s room. But when Mild has flashbacks to his assault, the person is wearing short sleeves.
I wonder why the friend group’s reaction to the incident is kinda callous though. A friend is accused of assaulting another friend’s younger sibling, you’d think the responses would be much stronger. Maybe they have a different story as to what happened?

The flow of this show is awesome. I wish the investigation aspect was a bit more intricate and detailed, but the romance part is flawless. Best JimmySea show, their banter and chemistry is amazing!

Refer to any online platform and you will find numerous comments pointing out the exact same flaws I have mentioned. Twitter, subReddits , tumblr, TikTok etc.
Also, it’s hilarious that you feel that my comment constitutes unwarranted lecturing when Jojo is on record about editing Only Friends last minute, based on audience comments every week. THAT is being unnecessarily reactive to audience noise, which a creator shouldn’t do. But being prepared before starting a project and guarding against some of the extremely prevalent flaws (like filler scenes, scared of red flag characters etc), is taking note of feedback and making improvements.
Jojo’s scripts recently have all been severely flawed. Never let me go had humongous plotholes. Only Friends was promoted as something daring and controversial and ended up being the same safe vehicle to promote fixed ships. THK not only had bad writing and boring, filler scenes, even the technical aspects were flawed. His distinctive style has not been working whereas Revenged love worked for the vast audience. So guess what? Seems like he needs introspection and to review his own work. Just because you personally seem to have liked his recent work does not mean that an LOT of other people did, his work has been criticised quite severely.
I like TayNew and their recent series (Cherry Magic and PPOS) have been great. So yeah, I don’t want them to follow that up with a poorly scripted flop. So nope, I will criticise work that I find of poor quality and I will point out flaws where I find them. I am not going to stop watching something which stars my faves and stop commenting on a public forum because it hurts the feelings of a random internet stranger.
Reading comprehension helps. Who said anything about trying to ape revenged love? I am talking about learning lessons about why a particular piece of media is enjoyable. Which includes ingredients like flawed characters, a fast moving plot, storylines one can chew on, interesting dynamics between the characters and non cringy humour.
