There are some good things about this drama (primarily that Lu Feng is super hot lol), some of the sequences are enjoyable and fun to watch. But overall, the script is weak and lacks cohesiveness, and the acting is cringy at times.

No use at all. All his character does is sulk and no offense to the actor, but he doesn’t look cute doing it. Being cute while sulky is a very specific skill set, which he just doesn’t have.
Looks like there may be plenty of local lakorn references, which international audiences may not be able to fully appreciate. Also, Thai comedy is often catered to local tastes, international viewers find that kind of thing cringy sometimes.

Once again, the rating is literally 8.9. Just because you can see one review on top is 7 obviously doesn’t mean that the rest are similar? If they were, the rating would not be 8.9. That’s common sense I fear.

This particular show seems to be more geared towards Thai audience tastes. I expect this to be more popular in Thailand than internationally. Which is great, because domestic popularity is far far more important than international popularity ( which some international fans fail to understand lol).

The only relatively big fandom account I saw talking about not supporting the show was Gmmtv France with a thousand followers. And they are straight up lying because they said that Tay liked the video post of th rapist’s explanation, instead of Mild’s post about the documents. That’s just straight up misinformation.
I’ve seen some tweets with 3-4K likes talking about boycotting. That’s minuscule in terms of overall BL fandoms and viewership. And none of them are arguing in good faith, it’s all about cyberbullying, which is exactly what Tay was talking about. Focusing on irrelevant celeb actions, when the gravity of the crime(incestuous child SA) is unimaginable.

No one is mass boycotting lol. The ones who will not watch were never going to anyway. I’ve seen the comments and the vitriol is mostly some international fans jumping on the bandwagon for engagement and to prop up their faves. Lots of GL stans, hardcore stans of other BL couples, and anti gmmtv folks among them, those who wouldn’t watch this show anyway.
Of course, there are some people who were badly affected by this matter and it’s their personal decision not to watch. That’s for each individual to decide. But the mass boycott comments and calling Tay names are mostly trolls, with barely a handful of followers, who are using this serious issue for engagement. That’s how pathetic they are.

But I want to clarify misinformation because in Twitter as usual some international trolls are deliberately spreading lies for the sake of engagement and stanwars.
The original post that Tay liked had 2 slides, the first slide showed a document about the family property dispute. The second slide was Mild(the wife) saying that she would sue those who were attacking her online, for defamation. Tay is good friends with Mild and he is outspoken against cyberbullying. At a first glance, he had no way of knowing exactly how this issue was related to the broader issue of abuse. He pressed like to show support to his pregnant friend who was being attacked online. Mind you, he was also super busy the last few days and out of the country.
Once he got to know what the entire issue was, he issued a clear apology. But now it has become an issue for some international fans to cling onto just to use as ammo for fanwars, for engagement and to prove how superior they/their faves are. Instead of boycotting the actual super powerful family the rapist belongs to, the international fans are calling him and other celebs disgusting, because you know that’s what’s gonna help the victim! Trying to get random celebs cancelled online!
Child SA is obviously one of the most terrible issues anyone can face and the sensitivity of this issue can never be overstated.
