episode 3• Watching a girl get abused and doing nothing• Close enough welcome back Hannibal • Oh, that's…
Big yes to the last point. That’s like the cornerstone of obsessive romance “you can do anything but you cannot leave me and if you do I’ll do anything to get you back”.
The premise, the OST, and the filming are so good, especially the tense moments, but the storyline and especially…
The main reason is physical attraction lol. Then yeah, Little Jane rejects the contract, he doesn’t bend over backwards for Big’s favor like the others do, he is smart and talented at stuff like painting, soccer, etc (competence is attractive), he is kind and shows care for Big, who doesn’t seem to have people in his life doing that.
I understand these two dating more than I did in Double Helix, because that relationship just started midway without any explanation.
Cheating or stealing money does not justify physical assault. The fact that no one intervenes when Jui is getting beaten up is disgusting and dare I say, unrealistic? I feel like more people would intervene if a girl were getting beaten up openly on a college campus.
Big Jane justifying this action is somewhat understandable, since he is supposed to be a red flag. But the narrative is trying to show Little Jane as a kind and moral person. Why is he not even more concerned at the abuse? He even tells Tee that Jui was in the wrong? wtf.
Eta: well actually little Jane does say he doesn’t like who is he is around Big Jane, so I guess that dissonance makes sense now.
Both Dan and Put like Little Jane? I like this series more now that the conflict is starting to heat up lmao
I love this show, it’s great, but is it confirmed that it’s only ten episodes? How will the romance be shown in a satisfying way if there’s only three more episodes left? Like this episode was spent fully on plot, Jay and Sun had like 5 mins of screentime. I don’t mind that, the plot is interesting. But they should have other episodes left where they will develop the love story. Otherwise it will be unsatisfying, because Jay and Sun have less screentime together than Sun and Pakorn&Sky. The few scenes here and there are not enough!
I truly like the OST of this show so much. The different renditions of it that they do are all so apt and enhances the scenes.
One thing that really makes this show stands out is that you can tell it was made by a gay man. The dialogues, the characterisation, the scenes, etc. are conveyed through a distinctly gay male gaze. Unlike some bls which feel like they just replaced the female lead with a man, without it really changing much about how men are socialised differently from women.
Tay and New have such great chemistry together. Not just when things are heating up, but in their everyday scenes.…
Yeah, those scenes really stand out because they are just so comfortable with each other. I honestly cannot recall seeing any other BL couples, even those with great chemistry, having this level of natural comfort and domesticity with each other.
These two are experienced actors and it really shows in their work.
I wanted more struggles too. Honestly by the time it reached it's finale I realised it was never about "religion…
Yes exactly, Aof’s shows are emotional but the emotions are mostly sedate and hardly ever overwhelming. I am moved but never devastated by his shows. My fault for wanting more lol. Episode three gave me buzz, but the rest not so much.
Eta: actually now that I think about it, his older shows like DBK and 1000 stars had more intense emotional moments. But after that, he kinda switched gears a bit.
I was in a BL slump too,but double helix opened the flood gate. But I can only watch Chinese bls currently. So,I…
Lu Feng was good, Yichen’s acting was bad at a technical level. All he did was stare blankly, when he was supposed to be sad, and smile when he is supposed to be happy. He was very weak.
This is an entertaining show, the cast is great. Taeseon is a mess lmao, he is all over the place with his feelings for Chaeha. I wish the episodes were longer, like proper kdrama style.
A suspected murderer became the head prosecutor? I am glad the show has a plot but too many coincidences piling up.
imo, Pailin isn’t a good friend. If it were my friend who got fucked over by an asshole of a man I’d never…
Haha tbf she looks weirded out at first by Lion, then gets bribed by the bag 😭
The real reason is that the narrative requires it. If Lion is not in the party, if he doesn’t propose publicly and Toto doesn’t witness it and leave, the climactic scene of Kanit deciding to choose Toto and going after him, does not happen. This is a requirement of the story, even if it’s a bit OOC for Pailin.
Yeah, this is boring now. Not only are you a troll, but not even an amusing one, and now you are stalking my comments. I’ve no patience for this, bye bye now, blocked.

I’m hoping somehow the episode number is false and they are planning to 16 episodes to wrap everything up.
