This show is clearly not about green flags, it’s about real flawed people. And that’s okay, not every show…
Toto has flaws too of course. Him listening to Lion and hiding the cheating from Kanit for more than a week. That was a breach of trust.
Then in this episode Toto was quite insistent in pursuing Kanit, trying to kiss him at least three times though Kanit said he was not ready. Now does that make Toto an irredeemable arse? Of course not, he’s just a flawed human being just like Kanit is.
The plot and character writing have been bad since Episode 1... are you guys only realizing that now? I commented…
How is the plot and character writing bad? You are stating your opinion, which is quite unpopular because the overwhelming majority of the audience loves the script, without any analysis as to what you think are the weak points. Care to elaborate on why you think the writing is weak.
They destroyed the love scene. I was praising this series because everything is sooo smooth. You get the impression…
Eh, that’s clearly a stylistic choice. To show the franticness and intense lust of the characters. This was not intended to be a perfect love scene with beautifully choreographed motions like a dance. This was intended to be messy and fast and intense, hence its filmed like an action scene, with frequent cuts and frenetic motions.
The lack of consistency or perfect blocking was by choice, to convey a certain emotion. They conveyed the messiness of the character emotions through this messy and frantic sex scene very well.
The ragebait troll accounts in this comment section are increasing… that’s how you know this series is getting more attention and popularity every day, hence the backhanded efforts to try to bring it down.
This show is so much better than I expected! The most adult show gmmtv has done, and I don’t mean NC scenes (though the one today was amazing!) I mean the characters seem like grown ups and while they are not perfect by any means, they are trying.
Jojo is blowing it out of the water right now. Great job scriptwriting and directing.
Lion back again next week? Only at episode six though, what’s gonna happen the other four episodes?
Raunchy, funny, charming, surprisingly emotional at times?! This show has it all. Glad it’s doing so well in terms of ratings. Not doing bad in trending too.
After all this years, TayNew still got it! It’s stupid to say this for two guys in theirs 30s( which is still very young!) but they really aged like fine wine, both looks wise and acting prowess wise. Can’t think of any other relatively older BL couple who are doing so well and are still so relevant nowadays.
This series is so entertaining, I’m enjoying it so much! Yes, lots of similarities to Reset. But the story is more intriguing here. I loved Reset too but I look forward to each episode more here.
Sun is straight up not having a good time 😟 it’s a constant stream of sexual molestation threats. The photographer, the pervs in this episode, even Jay is kinda forceful with him. Plus the constant bullying from his peers. All this on top of losing his entire family at a young age. Phew! He has a tough life for sure.
Hopefully Jay pampers him a lot when they get together. Sun is all stoic and silent, but he’s a softie at heart (we dont talk about his debt collector days lol)
I can see where you're coming from, and that's my one critique about the show; the characters - especially the…
This was one of my most anticipated shows of the lineup and while I still like it, I think it lacks rewatchability. Like, I can’t think of any scene which was so moving that I’d like to watch over and over again.
Whereas for HSF, I could pick up almost any episode and there would be several scenes which I would love rewatching. Thinking about all the SaintShin scenes which gave me so much buzz, can’t think of any NiranPete ones at the same level. They could’ve utilised the available screentime better, too much focus on rituals and not enough on the characters.
There are a lot of good things about this show. The acting, direction, production, plot are all competent and the show overall is fairly enjoyable to watch.
But what I am feeling is a lack of emotional attachment, because the characterisation is not as strong as it should be. I think the shorter number of episodes, with a heavy plot, hampered character building. Only Niran and Pete have fleshed out interactions and character backstories, and even for them there’s a lot of “show don’t tell”. Like Niran being an outcast from the Wu is explained in a couple of sentences, which doesn’t have any impact. Pete’s relationship with his sister is barely explored, and in episode five it doesn’t seem at all like he is worried about his sister being in a coma.
For the other characters, there’s no buildup at all, why should the audience even care about the team overcoming personal obstacles in the big fog battle? It’s like if in Avengers, we barely knew the characters and only saw their backstories in 2 minute flashbacks in the final battle. It’s hard to care about characters you hardly know.
This series is kind of the opposite of HSF. That show didn’t have a lot of plot but the character interactions, backstories, emotional arcs were depicted amazingly well. No wonder fans were so invested in the characters. This series has an intricate plot but the emotional buildup is lacking.
Just started episode 11 and holy shit, the younger Yichen is undoubtedly the most annoying character in BL history. No character has ever been as irritating to watch as him.
What a disappointment of a show. They keep going in circles, literally the same scene of Yichen in the rain and LuFeng coming after him repeated twice in 15 mins. Yichen never fights for Lu Feng, it’s always LF going for him. Yichen’s actor is cute but weak at acting.
Well, at least they addressed Lu Feng’s mental illness, he clearly has one. Though I guess the way they portray it is not accurate.
Yeah, I do the same. If the plot is interesting, or I like the actors, I don’t care about opinions too much, I will check them out regardless. For the last few series I mentioned, I am not too interested in the first place, that’s why I’ll pick them up if I have free time
Dog and Plane (one of the funniest romcoms in Thai BL). Payback (super intriguing storyline). When Oranges Fall (perfect comfort watch, slice of life high school BL). And TTH.
Heard Love Upon a Time starts weakly but becomes good midway through, so gonna pick that up next.
There’s a few others, like Love of Silom, Dear Daddy, Crazy Love moo moo, maybe I’ll binge after they end. Not too sure about those, I see mixed opinions.
I have never understood why they don't just let those two loose. They were always forced into such fake and cliche…
Okay, either you are trolling at this point or you are actually clinically insane. Either way, it’s boring because you sound dull. Get some better material next time.

Good job to the cast and the crew!

Thai BL is just killing it right now. At least four brilliant shows, which would easily feature on ATG BL show list, airing at the same time!!
The storyline is a little hard to follow sometimes tho. What’s the deal with the director Arthur? Why does Sun care about who Arthur is looking for?
And if he’s the rabbit, why can’t he recognise Jay?
