Yep, this is a purely astroturfed “ship” or “duo” or whatever you want to call it. Dew has a following, he wanted to do an anime like show, he’s friends with Tee. SkyNani paved the way for “bromance duos”, so they industry planted this. If you remember Tee’s live when he said that he was not sure if he would have a show this year, it shows that the company was having doubts. But clearly Dew has enough clout to pull through with it.

Tee has not even done a memorable supporting role. Has very little screen presence. Putting him as a lead, especially alongside other charismatic actors like Neo, Dew, Off, etc makes it even more obvious how weak he is.

What chemistry? They have never acted together before. Tee has only done some minor supporting roles.

DewTee have never even acted together before, literally the first episode of this show and no one knows how good this is gonna be. Putting them in the same tier as SN is way too presumptuous.

I liked it but I wanted more. I expected Tanrak to grapple more with his faith. I expected more internal conflicts and more intense emotions. But ultimately, it ended up being a placid and gentle show overall, with some flashes of intense brilliance. But that’s the director’s vision, I think Aof’s shows are mostly always like this, melancholic and bittersweet sometimes, but never reaching a very high octave of grief or tension. That’s his artistic expression and as viewers we can criticise but cannot demand.

Still, the acting was great, some scenes were standouts. GeminiFourth have great chemistry.

Tbf, that proposal was very in character from Lion. He’s a narcissist and made the situation all about himself, because he loves attention. He wants Kanit back because he knows Kanit was a great catch and narcissists cannot fathom someone might reject them. Lion thinks extremely highly of himself and his ego makes him think if only he makes a big public declaration, Kanit would forgive him and take him back because Kanit is grateful to have him. That’s very in character.

The characters are clearly shown grappling with socioeconomic issues. Kanit makes a conscious decision to overcome his shallowness and choose something more valuable. The show combines a deep message within its romcom structure very effectively. You are unable to see it, fine that’s your thoughts and opinion, but acting as if that the majority opinion? Similar way as other countries. There are posts I’ve read about this. Basically first responders in Thailand are not very well paid, or they volunteers for charities. Apparently the general public often views them derogatorily as body snatchers . Doesn’t make sense to me but apparently that’s the case.
